These quick connect hose fittings are easy to install and should work for most all garden hoses. I have the same exact looking quick connects as shown in your video but, one thing I noticed is after I installed mine they are very hard to connect together. It's as if I'm having to push the male end tightly into the washer. Prior to hooking them up they would connect and disconnect super easy.
Is there a quick connect option to replace the adapter on the front? Mine is spraying like crazy out of it. Seems to be an issue with some so I'd like to replace it with a quick connect option if possible.
I got fed up with my pressure hose twisting and kinking. GAME CHANGER: I got on Amazon: LOVHO Pressure Washer Swivel Adaptor -- M22-15 MALE to M-22 FEMALE Adaptor. It screws on to the gun and the pressure hose. No more fighting the stiff hose.

I'm facing with some confusion about the fitting size for my Sunjoe APX3000-XT. there are two fitting size available for the connector 14mm and 15mm. if you fit a 14mm connector onto a 15mm hose, it will leak. Do you know what fitting is Sunjoe APX3000-XT? The 15mm quick connector specs says it fits all Sunjoe except SPX3000 etc. Should I be using 14mm or 15mm for my Sunjoe SPX3000-XT? Can anyone help me with this?
I'm guessing your Sunjoe has the M22-15 like mine does.
I'd be interested in knowing how long you got out of these. I got about 2 years, and the second year, they barely made it. I'm going to stainless. Brass corrodes eventually and even before fully corroding, they stop working smoothly. For pressure washing fittings that mostly stay in the garage between uses, that isn't as big of a problem but for garden hoses that are outside, it is.
Mine are still fine, but as you said, i keep my pressure washer in the garage.
I think this is a great accessory for the pressure washer, but for my 3/4" commercial grade garden hoses the inner diameter of the male disconnect restricts the flow of water. It would work fine if you use the household 1/2" or 5/8" garden hose. Thanks and appreciate your videos.

I live in a building, there is water pump and the pression is really good. My question is the following: with the quick conections and disconections could I connect the foam cannon direct to my garden hose ? Without the washer pressure?
I would use a garden hose foamer, not the kind made for a pressure washer.

What if the pressure washer is second hand and does come with the swivel adapter for the garden hose? I bought one that was Male both sides but it leaks
Check the rubber seals inside the connectors. They may just need to be replaced.
Do you have any tips for getting the high pressure hose off of the wand? Mine is stuck
Hmmm, have tried channel locks? It might be stuck from mineral deposits. Maybe try soaking it with vinegar or CLR.
@@KevinNadeau I used WD 40. Still wouldn't come off. After I wrote the comment, I tried using needle-nose pliers and was able to move it back and forth until it came off.

Do you know if the quick connects you recommend In this video and your other one will work on a Ryobi electric?

@@brendalg4 I'm glad to hear you got the hose off. Channel Locks are a brand of adjustable pliers, similar to ViceGrips.
I believe Ryobi pressure washers take a M22-14 fitting, which is different than SunJoe.
How do you clean off the calcium and lime off the threads of these quick connectors?
I haven't tried cleaning them yet, but I'll probably use some vinegar and a brass brush.
I just got the sun joe quick disconnect and my garden hose wont screw into the adapter for some reason, makes no sense because it's supposed to be universal
ME TOO! I'm going to try the brand he used.
I used the same looking kit from sunjoe and mine leaked like crazy.
Sounds like they were missing the rubber gaskets.
ME TOO! Wasted $15. I'm buying the brand he linked here. Hoping it works! Btw, I find that Sunjoe attachments have to be tightened down all the way, to prevent leaks.

Word to the wise:
I installed the fitting on the front of the unit backwards without realizing it and the garden hose WILL NOT connect.
Removed it and reversed it and problem solved. Just make sure the Green collar is on the outside when you connect that fitting to your machine.

That's a deal breaker for me. He is excited that it lasted a week; try 4.1 weeks after which one cannot return to Amazon. By the way those are not O-rings, but flat washers inside the female threads. I like the concept of the video, but will look for better quality parts. Thanks.
