    UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ruclips.net/user/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

    Man, figuring out the couplers for my pressure washer was an ordeal. I have a SunJoe that has M-22 15mm fittings, which was fine. When I purchased a new foam cannon that came with snubby gun, it was an M-22 14mm, so I was on the hunt for finding another coupler so I could quickly change between the snubby gun and the SunJoe gun which is a longer wand-type. Great video! This is definitely something folks need to think about. Keep 'em coming!

    Thank you! I've seen many videos making comparisons of pressure washers, what foams, foam cannons and how-to's but your video explains what every new owner of a pressure washer needs to know. I also found another youtube video of someone with an electric Portland pressure washer (same as mine) changing the size of the o-ring to a little larger o-ring on the high pressure hose 14mm, it works perfectly and no adapter from 15mm to 14mm required.

    Also, I am sure you can get adapters from the thread on your lance (maybe 3/8?) to the 3/8 QC, so 1 less adapter hanging off the end.

    I’ve done the same thing except I just used one fitting....electrics are 15mm and gas are 14mm.....on my electric washer I installed a 15mm m22 x 14mm m22...( one fitting)... I don’t use the hose that came with the electric washer anymore...not very good anyway....now everything I use is the standard 14mm...I can use all my attachments for either washer with no extra fittings and with the quick couplers it’s fast to switch back to other washer if I need to.......also the the one hose I bought was a ryobi from Home Depot is 35 feet long and it c ame with a m22 male x m22 male....with that fitting I can hook the two hoses together and now I have 60’ of hose .....i only use one washer at a time....the reason I have a gas and an electric is because I use the gas for bigger things needing more pressure but you can’t set it down for any length of time....the electric however you can set it down and pick it back up without bothering the pump and it’s plenty of pressure for most everything......the Quick coupler fitting on the bottom of your gun is 3/8” ....the 1/4” is on the output of your gun for your tips.....I also have all male couplers on the washers and the females on the hose...easier to connect and disconnect

    (Note: A “TL; DR” synopsis is at the bottom of this comment, below.)
    *Long story:*
    Ok, so I have a RYOBI electric pressure washer (M# 141600, I think?). It had a trigger gun and a brass extension wand but both were lost when I moved.
    I bought a compatible aftermarket brand replacement gun/wand set and they fit my machine and hose well, they don’t leak, and generally work great.
    However, I can’t use my various nozzle tips with the trigger gun *only;* I *must* use the extension wand which has the quick connect fitting on the end, whereas the tip on the trigger gun is the black collared swivel type with a screw on connection.
    What I want to know is what adapter/fitting/coupler do I need in order to convert my trigger gun swivel tip to a quick connect? I can’t figure out how to remove/replace the swivel tip on the gun, and I don’t want a bunch of different fittings/couplers stacked up on the non-removable gun tip in order to have a quick connect on the trigger gun. The point is to keep the trigger gun as close to its standard 13” length as possible. I don’t anticipate using the extension wand often because and it is roughly the same length as my trigger gun. Using both together gives me a ridiculously and excessively long wand that is just not logical, necessary, or practical for the majority of tasks for which I use my PW.
    Please someone help me! I’ve been trying to figure this out for a week.
    Thx in advance! 😊
    *Short story:*
    TL; DR: I can’t remove the swivel screw-on tip to my RYOBI 1600 psi pressure washer trigger gun.

    PLEASE HELP - I have a Jet USA RX550 3500PSI pressure washer. I bought an upgraded hose which came with quick connect attachments in m22 14mm size. The pressure washer unit has a fixed male end thread which I wrapped in teflon tape to prevent leaking. The m22 14mm quick connect fits over this male thread. I checked the O-ring of the quick connect which is brand new, has no damage and the quick connect is screwed down as tight as I can muster. The leak still happens and flows from the back of the quick connect attachment. To eliminate all possibilities I'm going to ask a very stupid question. Is it possible that the male thread which is permanently attached to the pressure washer an m22 15mm size? If so, an m22 14mm quick connect wouldn't be able to be screwed on right? Just trying to determine whether I need a coupler to go from m22 15mm to 14mm. My eyes aren't the best to measure the diameter of the connection

    ??? I understand that the male barrel on the quick connector has to match the female receptor built into the pressure washer. If I buy an M22x15mm quick connector and attach it to the built-in fitting on the pressure washer, all is well because the hose will have a standard 3/8" male connector just like those I use on my air compressor hoses. The stubby gun should have a quick connect that will accept the standard 3/8" male connector on the hose. The stubby gun has an M22 thread on its female fixture. What size inner barrel does it have? What am I missing?

    • @DetailingBreakdown
      @DetailingBreakdown  2 года назад +1

      I have learned that many cases are different and the quick connects needed may also differ. I’m not an expert to any brand and they all seem to have their own size requirement. This is what worked for me. But these 2 sizes should be all u need in either case. Sorry if my video confuses u.
