  • In part 1 Mike shows you how to take your pressure washer to the next level by upgrading to quick connect fittings. You mentioned Teflon tape and loctite. When should you use one vs the other?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  3 года назад

      Thread locker should be used in instances where vibration is a concern. It also has a cure time, typically 24 hours, for this reason teflon tape is used for most applications.

    Great informative video! Question im thinking about getting Greenworks 1,800 PSI 1 GPM Cordless Electric Cold Water Pro 60V Pressure Washer
    SKU 5109002T
    MODEL# PW60L00
    Am I able to upgrade and add quick connect to this?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  Год назад +1

      Yes, that model has M22 connections for hose and spray gun. Keep in mind that should you want to add a foam cannon to your kit, the minimum requirements for the MTM Hydro PF22 Foam cannon is 1.4 GPM and will not be compatible with this pressure washer.

    Mike, all the components in this video are completely compatible with a Ryobi 1600 PSI pressure washer, or do you have another video for a Ryobi?
    And what about a swivel for the gun? Was that included in this video? I’m new to all this. Thanks.

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  3 года назад

      Yes, the SRG Kit is made to fit Ryobi products. The spray gun live swivel comes as part of many of the available spray gun kits.

      Is there a way to make these M22-15 x ⅜ to M22-15 x¼ instead? If so is there any drop in performance or is there a reason you showed this specific kit. I have the exact same model of the Sunjoe spx3000 but in Red color. Please help

    I want to use the SGS28 with the pre-installed 3/8" QC plug on my OEM Greenworks hose which has a M22 14mm female connection. Is the 14mm M22 X 3/8" coupler (part no.24.5021) what I need to attach the spraygun to my hose?

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  2 года назад +2

      Correct, 24.5021 will adapt to 14mm M22 fitted hose.

      It's possible the seal has failed, which commonly happens when it's over tightened, or simply over time due to weather changes.

    i bought a quick connect fittings also from amazon but when i finishes pressure washing, i cannot disconnect...anything i can do? or maybe since its a cheap fitting kits from amazon i should be a more expensive brand? if so, what do you recommend? thanks

    • @PoweredbyVeloci
      @PoweredbyVeloci  2 года назад +2

      Sometimes pressure is maintained in the line even after the pressure washer has been turned off. Try releasing the pressure by pointing the spray gun in a safe direction and pulling the trigger. Once the pressure has been released from the line you should be able to disconnect much easier.
