Oh wow, I hadn't heard that peas are harmful to dogs! While peas aren't a daily addition to my dogs menu, I have on occasion included a few to his bowl. I'm so glad I saw this video!
I new about some of these but not the peas! I had given my dog some stew that had peas in it and he ate all of it but the peas! he left them all in the bottom of the bowl. I thought it was funny how meticulous he ate it but now I think he somehow knew lol. He's an American Akita and finnicky but now I wonder if some dogs know 🤔 Thank you for the video, I so wish we could have you for our Vet.
Thank you Doctor Jones. I was surprised at the peas. I include some V Dog kibble in my dogs diet, and the first two ingredients are “Dried Peas, Pea Protein”! I have even added them to his homemade stew. So thank you so much for the advice. Also, I thought garlic was on the list along with the onions. I never add either of those to his food. Thanks again. 👍🏻
