    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On RUclips and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I know I am 2 months late to this video but I am on my path to Break 90. Your instructional videos are the primary reason I am able to do so. I will admit I do not practice enough (I am working on that), but in the last 12 months I went from a baseline of a 36.4 handicap to a 21.9. At 57 years old, because of the positive encouragement you provide along with easy to use drills and instructions, I expect to be closer to a 14 handicap by the time I am 58. The key I have found is to keep it simple. Work on one aspect at a time until I improve on the course then change to the next item to improve, keep mixing it up with incremental improvements over the entire game. Next, be honest with myself on the course. No foot wedge improved lies, no mulligans. Finally, since I am not being paid to play golf and instead am paying, I MUST have fun! The Serenity of a quiet golf course, the camaraderie of friends having fun on the course, and letting myself be a “kid” again makes it fun. Thank you so much. Glad you are blessed to be able to play rounds with your dad! That’s awesome.

I will keep watching and hope enough knowledge rubs off on me so that I can enjoy the game once more.

I love the videos you do with your dad. They are so heartwarming. It's been 14 years since my dad passed, and I really miss the times we had on the golf course. My dad never said a lot about how to play the game, as he was a high-handicapper just out to enjoy the game. But, he did make a comment once after a tee shot I made which gave me a whole new perspective of the game and, to this day, helps me to continue to enjoy the game. I was much younger at the time, and I thought I was a pretty good all around athlete. I expected a lot out of myself and my golfing abilities. On this particular day, I teed up the ball, took a couple of warm-up swings, then stepped up and made a mighty swing!! The ball was supposed to go straight down the fairway and give me short shot into the green. Instead, the ball went straight up, and landed on an adjacent tee box!! Before I had a chance to throw my driver in disgust, my dad says in a very quiet and inquisitive voice, "Now that's an unusual way to play this hole." I could not stop laughing, not at the shot, but at his comment. To this day, I hear him say, "Now that's an unusual way to play this hole", every time I make a bad shot, and it keeps everything in perspective. I'm a senior golfer now, and I'm continuing to try and improve my game; but, my expectations aren't too lofty. I really appreciate your videos, especially those with your dad.

I too enjoyed this video and the tips given by you to your dad & shared with us. My golf continues to get better with your regular guidance. I haven’t missed a fairway off the tee for last two rounds and iron shots are improving also. The three putts continue to sadly impact on my score so that last hint will inform my next practice and preparation session. Fantastic ‘surprise gift’ you made to your dad and let’s hope he can continue to improve (as do I…) respecting your tips for we ‘oldies’! Cheers Michael

Danny, your videos have been instrumental in helping me improve my game. I can’t thank you enough for how you break down each tip and lesson so they are easy to understand and follow. If I had to choose one tip from this video I’d choose the bunker shot. For me, bunkers are a mental block before I even step onto the sand. The way you explained how to focus on the sand and not the ball is definitely something I’ll be going out to practice. Thank you, sir!

Amazing that you are able to have this special time with your dad! And what a special gift!
Your tips have really helped me as a new golfer. The bunker sand tip, the close in chips, getting rhythm and feel. I’m hitting in the high 90’s ( most of the time 🤣)after only 1.5 years as a new golfer and I’m 58 years old! Having so much fun, thank you Danny!!!👍👍

Taking the golf out for just a minute, the love you have for your dad is truly something special and I know it is returned to you 10 fold. At this point I'll be honest and tell you that I was emotional too when you surprised your dad with the Callaway custom fit set of clubs. Great Gesture from Callaway and St Andrews. hello Danny - been watching your vids for a while now. out of all the excellent instructors on youtube, you come across very sincere and humble, and kind. I enjoy your simple and to the point discussion on the various techniques and advice on how to play certain lies. As a high handicapper, the "don't follow a bad shot with a bad decision" is a great reminder as sometimes i think i need to make some herculean shot after a poor one to make up for it. I am learning to avoid trouble instead of just focusing on getting on the green. keep up the great work! thank you! respectfully, nick

Great video, but the best notable item is the wonderful job your father has done with raising you! There is nothing more valuable in life than a great relationship with your family! I golf regularly with my sons and my daughters - my best friends - and words cannot describe what an awesome feeling this brings to all of us! The best is the thrill and motivation I get watching my kids as they collectively better my best shots! I watch your videos all the time, and they have definitely helped me. I love your teaching style! Keep up the great work; we’ll all be watching!

I am delighted your lovely dad is going to get a full set of custom fitted golf clubs.
I hope in a future video you will explain the choice of clubs so other senior golfers
will get an insight of the type of clubs that are suitable for a senior golfer.
I have 3 fairway woods & 3 hybrids rather than many irons.
I will enter your draw to try & win a custom fit set but I realise that there will be many subscribers
putting their names on the list.
The video highlighted how you can save many shots by using your brain & common sense.
The putting tips will probably save the most number of shots in a round as they can be used for every hole.
Renewed thanks to you both for some valuable advice.

Not all the tips work perfectly remotely of course, but at least they show you what good looks like and you can work towards a better result based on your own starting position. I started to take lessons again inspired by your coaching ;-) Your dad’s smile after you told him about the custom fitting was priceless. Cherish that! Not sure whether Callaway has a custom fitting center in Belgium, Bruges area, but who knows ;-) Keep on the good work, you and your dad brought a smile to my day !

Great video Danny, stoked for the experience you and your dad got to share around a course I’ve visited on multiple occasions but never been fortunate enough to play. The advise and tips are both helpful and ones I can relate to unfortunately which is why I struggle to break 90 of late. I’d love the opportunity to be fitted professionally but regardless of wether I get the opportunity or not this video highlights the most important element of life, the dash. We are all born and sadly will all pass, it’s how we fill in the blank (dash) that matters and I’m sure filming this video with your dad will live with you forever..

    Good morning Danny,
I look forward to every Saturday morning (United States) watching your videos. I'm a new golfer as of last summer, I golfed the best 9 ever, Thursday morning, using your split handed drill.
What hits me the most about your videos, is how you include your dad. I lost my at 8 yrs. old 41 now with a son, so I know what you mean to your dad. Words can't explain it. Keep doing what you're doing!
    Thank you!
