My philosophy professor noticed I had a dark period by the way I started dressing, so he told me that back to the days he had my age, he used to listen to the cure, and he even managed to meet the band in person and talk with the members by chance...So I started to listen to the cure and I litterally fell in love with them and their music, pure magic

Porl guitar...the secret ingredient in my opinion coupled with Boris drums. That's why Head on the door era to Wish/show era is the best. The songs were accented by the strength of their playing. Robert is the center of the ideas and sound boris was the foundational construct but Porl knew how to compliment and color the existing soundscape. He's one of my favorite guitarists.

The first time watching a vhs is the best you're ever going to get, it degrades immediately after the first watching. Videotapes cannot hold a candle to what DVD brought to our homes. I will never find anything charming about a flickering picture or warbled audio, let alone weird magnetic lines and rainbow colors to where they don't belong.
