Thank You for this upload. The Cure has always had a distinctive sonic identity. Robert sounds completely awesome. If you didn't have the video and just listened, you wouldn't ever know this band is over to 40 years old. Their songs are completely timeless. I hope these guys NEVER STOP.

Yes. I just saw them last year and it was like they were all twenty and more importantly like all the songs were just released. Like I could've heard Heaven or Lullabye or In Between Days just the next day that they had just made that song. Not sure what kinda magick they have but I'm sure it's involved some fairie folk❤

The album to come (when) promisses to be intense. "Endsong" could be on the top 5 of the most beautiful Cure songs.
His voice is still fantastic. He sounds the same. Usually, live performances sound different, but he sounds as good as he ever did. Love the Cure!! ❤

Robert truly is one of the most empathic human to walk in these past couple generations the way he walks around on stage at the start to see and feel the people and the vibe. He knows that it doesn't last forever and seems to be really coming to terms with that and truly living in the present. I just got that feeling watching him maybe I'm projecting but yeah that is what The Cure does makes you think haha Honestly by the third song in I might of been crying a little a good cry though
I totally agree. One of the most fantastic things from Robert is that; he is so sensitive I guess; you can notice on the lyrics; in the way he cries with some of the new songs…he is a human 100% connected with his emotions and is not afraid to show them and express them through his music and his expresions.
That makes him so wonderful and authentic. There is nothing to hide…he can be vulnerable and we all are…

I myself and clairvoyant so when I see Robert I can just tell each emotion he goes through here its wild

I feel like Simon Gallup is one of the greatest bassists in rock history, and is criminally underrated, or overlooked in the conversation. What a body of work that stands out, and such a huge part of The Cure sound. As much as Robert is. He's an artistic tressure, in my view anyway.

El primer concierto al que fui con mi ahora esposo, fue a ver a The Cure el 21 de abril de 2013 en la Ciudad de México, 10 años después el 19 de noviembre de 2023, llevamos a nuestro hijo de 7 años a su primer concierto de The Cure, logramos llegar casi hasta adelante y lo mejor de todo es que mi hijo sale en éste video varias veces y va a poder ver cuantas veces quiera como fue su primer concierto de The Cure 🖤🖤🖤

I cannot grasp the fact that the bassist is in his 60s and running around in the stage like he is in his 20s. What an amazing band. Robert's voice hasn't changed. It's shocking really when you realise they are the age they are. Amazing people. ❤

I just received the full live of cure a corona in Mexico 10 months ago it is a set of their titles which made the headlines and it is magnificent and robert smith is in good shape good listening with me good evening or good night kisses and good listening with THE CURE ESSENTIAL.

They didn't tour in 88 😂 they were too busy working on Disintegration which came out in 89. Maybe you saw them in 89. Or 87 during the Kiss me tour

I’m from Monterrey Mexico and move to USA late 70’s in the beginning of the 80’s when in middle school I descoger the cure when I got to high school I atended my first cure in 87 with the kiss tour.. after that I’ve missed I cure concert… in 89 I visited my hometown Monterrey and met now wife and brought her, a childhood friend to see the cure with the disintegration tour ..resided to move back to Monterrey AND guess what the cure for the first time went to the country mexiico and picked Monterrey only the tour wish is like he Robert knew moved 🤣🤣🤣 and that the best concert I’ve ever been till this day🥰🥰🥰💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 this is my cure story🥰

Voices rarely change. My father was a bass in the local church choir. During the early stages of his MS he continued to sing into his seventies!
I'm a voice teacher and I disagree w you on that. Even with AMAB ppl there are hormone changes that can affect the voice and other things that can happen if you don't use your voice a lot. I feel like your dad must have been really blassed with a voice to have no changes. Sorry about your dad. My sister died last year. She loved to sing but by the end really had no voice.

I saw this tour/setlist in Toronto last June - amazing show. I have seen them in 3 different decades and they still sound great.
This is one of the most unique acts. There's no other band compareable to the style they developed. It's happy it is sad and sometimes dark and tragic with a lot of pain and always has this special feel. You once love it and one sticks with them for a life-time. ☺👍
