Who actually was that wise man? I feel like it was during Ravnica Allegiance gameplay on one of LRR’s streams…. I distinctly remember someone flunging with azorious flyers and someone going off with Guardian Project in simic…. Nelson, maybe?
until it's swinging at you when you have blockers , a propoganda, and a Windborn Muse on the field. prevent the table wipe and then kill your opponent with Strixhaven Stadium three turns later. then they rage quite.
For anyone who can't spot the lethal he's talking about in the bonus game (spoiler alert): With 2 black mana, he could use one to cast woe strider, giving him a clue, a goat, and 2 squirrels, which would tap down opponent's board with junkwinder. Then with the second black mana he'd sacrifice the 2 new squirrels to Chatterfang, and since he gives +X/-X, not -X/-X, that'll buff one of his creatures enough to swing for lethal
if you don't want to keep pressing ctrl to go into full control, you can press shift+ctrl and it will hold full control until you turn it off, I believe
Oh I think it does matter quite a bit. That makes the combo way less dependent on the board state. I’m a bit baffled that I didn’t notice it all this time. Probably because I always had stuff to target or my opponents scooped before it was relevant.
@@BrewersKitchen Yeah when I wrote that I forgot that the triggers fizzled if you stacked them, but then again, there's plenty of boardstates where you have enough infinite token generation to target your stuff and still not run out
If you mean Yawgmoth sacrificing a Squirrel to target a Squirrel with Pitiless Plunderer, you want to put the counter. Targetting a squirrel gives you treasure fastrr
This video has 3 things I like: A quick paced humor which isn't forced and keeps my short attention span on, a creative and actually fun deck (that doesn't rely on 40 mythics to win) and tokens. Nice!
@@Kaiju_Tea_Party Damn I can't even get the cards to play the damn deck, Arena cured me of wanting to play MTG XD but yeah, agreed. Long games cut short to the moments that matter is nice
Play woe strider, create goat and clue, which makes 2 squirrels, junkwinder trigger taps their only blocker, sac 2 summoning sick squirrels to chatterfang to pump junkwinder, then attack for lethal.
@@BrewersKitchen You're welcome, hope it comes in handy for the future. Yeah Arena should give you priority, but as we all know Arena should do a lot of things 🙃
SO glad to see Junk Winder getting some love. Easily one of my top 5 cards from MH2. You can easily get to a point where you're keeping your opponent's entire board tapped at all times. Obviously it doesn't match up well against non-creature decks, but it absolutely crushes creature decks.
Lowkey I think you cast divination in real life and were gifted a vision of how people edit arena footage in the year 3022, honestly the best magic editing on yt right now
Honestly the editing on Phil's videos are absolutely insane. The narration is sooooo good with the editing and effects. Gameplay and decks are just icing honestly.
PSA: Shift + Enter: Auto pass the turn. You'll get no priority at all this entire turn unless you've set a manual stop. Shift + Ctrl: Hold full control. You will enter full control and stay in full control until you turn it off. So it'll stop at every mana payment, every step, every trigger, constantly until YOU turn it off.
12:50 I guess you didn't see that you could have killed the Soul Warden with Chatterfang here, basically clenching the win. Sure, you wouldn't have been able to cast Junk winder next turn, but that pales in comparison to preventing all that life gain and +1/+1 counters from all your creature tokens entering the battlefield.
18:20 if you had 2 black then you could play woe strider, tap his creature and create 2 squirrels. Then use chatterfang to sac those 2 squirrels for a juicy +2 damage to just get lethal
Cool deck, sweet edits, funny commentary... what a legend! Thanks man, keep them comming! I'm really glad that you were able to continue your work as part of MTGGoldfish. Not having you and your creating in the community would have been a great loss.
Phil, loving your contributions to MTGGoldfish with videos like this and your role on Commander Clash. Knew you were a talented animator from your personal channel, but had no idea you were such a great brewer. Great job!
18:21 if you had one more black mana, you would play junk winder, make a clue and squirrel, tap emry, play jolrael, make clue and squirrel, sacrifice 4 squirrels to give winder +4/-4, swing for 14 exactly.
The effort that goes into making such a solid 20 minutes of content is awesome. Keep up the work - loving everything you've done since joining the Goldfish team!
Very impressed, and clearly I'm going to have to dive into your videos now. You were already a great addition to the team, but man, this was sweet. Welcome aboard.
Wildly high effort video and it shows man. I love Seth's content, but this scratches a different itch. You're a great addition to the team and a content creator in general.
It's probably my third or fourth time watching this video, not only because I think the deck is really sweet, but also because it's incredibly funny. Brewer's Kitchen is quickly becoming one of my favorites on the fish bowl
18:15 One black mana does it, right? Pay UU for junk winder, get a clue and a squirrel, tapping both of his guys. Play Jolrael for 1G to get another clue and squirrel. Then use B to pump the Junk winder that can attack +4/-4 and swing in for 14 with everyone.
A dream of a video as well. And meeen i love this junky deck. Features so many beloved cards! Thanks for brewing and making games und cutting so nice ! Thanks :)!

That is correct! Would have been such a sweet play but I guess I "won" anyways xD
I had not noticed the wording on chatterfang
9:20 Yawgmoth ability says "put a -1/-1 counter on UP TO ONE target creature" so he didn't have to target his own squirrels with it.
if you don't want to keep pressing ctrl to go into full control, you can press shift+ctrl and it will hold full control until you turn it off, I believe

Sincerely, your average decayed zombies player
You don't actually have to put counters in your own creatures, yawgmoth says "up to one target creature". Not that it matters, tho.
