@@GandoTheBardit was absolutely bad manners. Why would he assume he has ram through? And why would he let him win if his deck was specifically made to counter this type of deck lmao. He just tried to show off and lost cause of it haha
@Chubbies34 he absolutely knew if he didn't play any creatures up until the final round and threw one out. He doesn't gain anything in his deck for not playing the creatures because he still doesn't have to block with them and had plenty of shigikis in hand plus it's ability to return itself to the hand. The only reason for him not to play it would be to assume some type of damage transfer card like ram through, a common and powerful mono green card.
When Seth talked about making 8 cosmos elixirs, I thought that might be a bad idea. When I saw the opponent discard a root snare *before* he copied them, i knew he was doomed.
The max counters you were able to put on, 1,073,741,824 is 2^30-1. It's kind of a strange value. I'd expect 2^31-1, which is the max value for a 32-bit signed integer. Good on the developers for not allowing it to overflow and kill your Triplets.
If you cap your values at MAX/2 you know you're always safe to add two together and take the min of the result and the cap. I don't know if that's why they did it, but it's a possible reason.
@@MooseMoosesMeese That's correct. 32-bit Signed Int goes from -(2^31) to (2^31)-1 or −2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647. Why they only allow you to go up to half of that I'm not sure. If I had to guess I'd probably say they have a similar cap on base creature power for the like X/X variable power creatures so that if you somehow managed to cap out both of them your creature's power would still fit in the bounds of that 32-bit signed integer.
20:54 seth you could have mythos of illuna’d your waterlogged grove to be able to lose 8 more life a turn, if you waited and played one more doubler, you could have removed all the card draw from your elixirs

I laughed until I hurt when he played a creature finally. I was thinking "that is something that would happen to Seth." And for future reference, if I ever see you on Arena and I know I am beat you go ahead and go off. I would enjoy seeing something like this.
I vaguely remember an opponent on MTGO asking if Seth had recorded his deck going off or not and let him combo to make sure he got to play it out once.
I recently played an opponent on Arena Alchemy where I was playing monoblack and my opponent played Abzan with Gruff Triplets, the Three Little Pigs, and Virtue of Persistence. As much as I tried hanging in there, they had answers to everything I was playing. Still, it was a very fun match! This deck looks like a lot of fun in itself. Thanks for dropping some new content, Seth!
the turbo fog deck i think you could have beaten earlier by using mythos to copy their soul-guide lantern, then exile their grave repeatedly. they can recur only so much when you exile their grave every turn at instant speed
By the way Seth, in case you're interested the cap that you see is 1073741823 or 2^30-1. What is interesting is that usually the largest binary integer you can represent with a 32 bit system is 2^31-1 ( you use one of the bits for the sign ( whether the number is positive or not) I actually don't know what the extra bit is used in arena for
I actually thought to myself, "ugh, spoilers season... starting to miss Seth's bizarre shenanigans" .... and this seems to fully make up for it...... "literally a billion" not as in the way people misuse the word to mean "figuratively" a billion, but properly literally a billion.
So for the turbo fog matchup I feel like having dowsing dagger in the sideboard might help out nicely, since it give your opponent a creature to use Ram Through on, just some food for thought.

Did you consider Virtue of Knowledge for this deck? Doubles the tokens like doubling season and you could use the adventure side to copy a triggered effect (counters or tokens from the triplets).
