- Well, hello there! Brewer’s Kitchen here, just in time for Halloween, with a spooky brew called “The Murder Engine.”
Is it spooky because of creepy creatures like a Eyetwitch, Shambling Ghast or Lolth, Spider Queen? Yeah… kinda… but art like this is pretty common in the world of magic. The scary thing about this deck is: We are playing Standard, right after the World Champion XXVII turned the arena meta into a race in who can Alrund's Epiphany the most times in a row. It’s probably a good time to mention, that this deck was built about two weeks ago. By now, the meta has adapted to more aggression and coming prepared for Epiphany.
But I wasn’t going to let the meta bother me; I came here to murder and get value!

Poor opponent in game one. You could tell by the concession they were like “I have killed literally this exact board for five consecutive turns, nothing I do matters my will to play magic is gone”.
Not a bad opponent, just an extremely weak deck.

I love playing death trigger mono black zombies for this very reason lol. Killing them just makes me stronger

Naming Ouphe for Crippling Fear is my new favorite thing
naming "you are already dead" with something like tamiyo whilst executing a lethal line, too

They made me laugh out loud every time
the spookiest part was the purple mana symbol on the spooky cards

I can't stand how Seth talks, I actually unsubbed from the channel and then noticed there were other people on it.

@@martinprybylski2392 I find it hard to listen to, I'm having to pay attention more to context clues to figure out what he says sometimes because of how he pronounces things.

Love some classic reanimating black. That first game, it didn't even matter that your opponent had several boardwipes, the board just kept coming back.
Also your opponent naming Ouphe as the creature type in game 3 was a masterclass in memery.
The real spooky thing I saw were 6 colors on the back of that like button card. *Shivers*
Oh my god I adored this editing!! This episode was one of the funniest things I’ve seen on RUclips in AGES! The freestyling over the 5x Epiphany had my laughing my ass off!
I like how the spooky cards had the purple addition to the pie on the back, excellent touch.

Needed more Storm Crows to be really spooky
man board wiping, I loved doing that back in the day. I used 9 lives and a bunch of board wipes and an enchantment that turns the opponents creatures into enchantments, then I would swap my 9 lives with that creature turned enchantment, if he didn't have a different enchantment and then either planar cleansing, or I used that one spear that removes shroud and blink the 9 lives.

Man, this was my first time seeing the Epiphany deck in action. That is rather scary.....
First time seeing someone who can actually pilot that deck. Too many players crafting the deck after World Championship and taking forever to make plays. They get wins out of opponents conceding out of boredom just to get matched up with it again and again and again...... Happy Halloween!
The Spookiest thing about the entire video was a deck using the Snarls.

As a polar opposite I made one of my opponents concede with boardwipes. It's really their fault for allowing me to activate Liliana of the dark realms. Without that extra mana I never would have been able to drop 4 boardwipes between his and my turn
