love that you teach as you go
You’re the Man!! Looks awesome. I’m not a huge cabbage fan but I’m gonna give this one a try.
Try with bell pepper, zucchini, rice, any squash like butternut, enjoy!
Just need you to know that I love the intros. Always so funny! The curry looks delicious. I'm going to try it next week.
Ok then I’ll keep making a fool of myself. Ha. Hope you enjoy the meal!
Thank you for the recipe. I got up and need right away and eat it and it's delicious. I made a couple of improvisions since I didn't have some of the things you had. I used hot chili paste in place of hot peppers which I did not have on hand. And I used Frozen green mukimame (soybeans), and I used orange peel and some mandarin orange slices to replace the mango powder. And I used leftover refried beans in place of chick peas since I didn't have chick peas ready on hand. Otherwise everything's the same in this dish turned out absolutely delicious.
Hi Susan, I am glad you enjoyed the recipe. Our recipes and a lot of plant-based recipes are great because there is so much room for creativity and substitutions that you rarely need to worry about having the exact same ingredients. Thanks for being a part of our community!
Love your humor! You’re so real and you’ve helped me a lot. I’ve been on the plan 2 months and loving it more and more. Thanks! 🌸
What a lovely kitchen
So funny!!!!!!!!!!!! Dillon's so real and also so natural!!!
Perfect recipe! I am a fan of very spicy curry.
Then yes you will love this one!
Yum
I have never had anything with the word “curry” in it. I was looking for something new, and Dillon made this look so easy, so I tried it. It is amazing! I had to make it for my husband without jalapeños and chili powder, but I added them to mine. We both loved this recipe a lot. It will be part of our weekly meal plan from now on.
Thank you so much for commenting! Thrilled you enjoyed your first curry!! Keep comin back 😊
I love the sticking to the theme to the max - this was funny and fun - this is why I come to this channel!
Old enough to be your mom...LOVE it any time your personality comes out, so love your intros! Don’t ever change.
I love those intros!!! Keep being nutritional yeast (cheesey)!
Ha ha ha that was funny! Ok will do!
The "ye-he-he-es" at the pound of peas going in was hilarious
haha glad you liked that!
Dillon...your intros are awesome and hilarious! Don't stop being you!
Haha thank you Missy!
Do not stop the intros… They’re short and they crack me up. And this dish looks delicious 🥳
I do this sauce almost exactly! Except I use green chilis, serranos. Some options I blend spinach in there sometimes and sometimes coconut. Also if you want a thick creamy sauce you can blend some of the banzos in there. Killin, Dillon😁✌💛🌱
Great tips as always! Thank you Bob! Nice to see you back here!
@@WellYourWorld Thanks brother! Good to see things going well on your end! October was a bit crazy here again in CA with the fires. This seems to be the new normal here now which really is very new. Between the changing weather conditions and our outdated electrical grid technology it's a recipe for disaster. More photovoltaics!!!
Keep the intros.
That looks delicious!
Thank you Joelle!
When I go backpacking, I take mango powder because it is a great non-liquid alternative to vinegar or lemon juice.
I did not know it behaved that way, thanks for the tips!
after shane and simple - this is super awesome to see how it works!!
Don't change a thing Dillon! I thoroughly enjoy all your videos from your humor down to your recipes. 😁
5:47 had me laughing so hard...thank you, i needed it.
The intros crack me up, keep them coming.
i just found your channel and am loving the simple whole food recipes! would you be able to list the ingredients in the description box? just makes it easier when i save the vid to make later to see everything i need. thanks!
the weirder the better. too many normal out and about
Just made this for my teenage son. He loved it. Due to a tomato sensitivity I used 2 red bell peppers and extra celery as a substitute.. was going to add some lemon juice for the tang of the tomato but sauce tasted fine without it. I don't have a vitamix so I sauted the vegetables before I blended them and my kitchen aid blender blended them just fine. Thanks for a great recipe!
Maaaannn!!! Just ordered my Indian Everything sauce. Along with a few other goodies.
Can’t wait to try some of your recipes. Curry in a Hurry and Falafel w/tzatziki is first!!
Dillon is LEFTY! ....I'm a lefty BUT I chop righty.....I bat lefty but can also bat righty.... I pour lefty.....all MESSED up! hee!
Love it! That was a hot pan lol! I love that you didnt use coconut milk Thank You for that!!
This look amazing! I'll be making it with potatoes. Thanks Dillon
btw love the intros! No need to change a thing :)
Please keep the intros. Nice to know I'm not the only nutty person. I really enjoyed this video. I will definitely try this. I hope I have as much fun as you do.
Live your energized intros....keep them coming! Do you have your own cookbook for sale; if not, why not?
LOVE your AWESOME intros you DILLION and REEBS ARE so ENTERTAINING 😂 💕
This is a great fast curry; don't know if you follow the Happy Pear; they do lots of versions (always forget which twin is mad about tamari and which one really likes cooking with coconut) but they do a lot of water-based stir frying as well, and because there are 2 of 'em they get it done in 5 minutes; just really like what they've done with their community in Ireland, think one of the things people didn't pay enough attention to in the Blue Zone examination was the value of community and the absence of capitalism run amok -- sorry was having a Bob Dylan truth attach I apologize. Great vid!
Love curry, thanks. I suppose other folks love the speed and pace of this clip, I had to listen closely twice to take it all in. Super fast but great info.
I’m just watching this now. The intro is delirious!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Your intros and that first bite of hot food is the best! The husband and always get a kick out of it. Love your videos!
Dillon, according to my teens, this recipe is “slappin’ “, it’s also “valid” 😆
We followed this but it was missing the sweetness and creamy texture of typical curry.
Making this tastes great, but my shopping not as small as your. Thanks for recipe.
Where do I find the recipe!
What a video, full of energy!! One of a kind my friend, you got us going!
I know you were in a hurry, but where does 'curry in a hurry' originate from?
What's wrong with a little himalayan salt? I've read that it de-bloats and has essential minerals...
Hi Dillian could i use a white onion instead of a red onion? also could i use red cabbage instead of green?
we love you just the way you are. I love your intro's don't change
I love the intros. I enjoy your humour and appreciate that you don’t take yourself too seriously. Will be making this recipe soon. Thanks for all your quality videos. My husband and I are just starting on the WFPB lifestyle and we really enjoy your channel.
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the meal!
Please KEEP DOING THE INTROS!
I can't take anymore, I'm breaking my fast tomorrow.
Looks delish. Must try. Wish I had some magic to impart what we know about this diet... but, alas, no. Lost my 2nd sister. So sad. One day this will be the standard diet but, for now, love is all we have. Thanks for carrying the message. Your videos are so important. Glad you can have fun with them.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Thanks always for your support. XO wishing you the best
I was feeling lazy and remembered that I could make this for dinner. Turned out delish! I threw some pre-washed kale in there too and ate it with some avocado to cool it down.
What other beans can you use in place of garbonzo. Beans.
I love your intros and I love all the knowledge you share...thank you!
I love how you cook dirty hahah, my stove looks like this when i cook :)
LOVE the obnoxious intros and bloopers!
Dillon you are a great guide for us non cooks...thank you 1000. Am making your SOS Marinara sauce as I write this! Kerry from Oz.
Sounds great! Thanks Kerry!
Thank you so much for this recipe. I’m at my stove cooking it right now. What could I add to make it a little creamy? I don’t want the fatty canned coconut milk but I just would love to find something in between….
Cashew cream, white beans, cooked potato, or cooked cauliflower are great options! Enjoy!
I am thinking about making a double batch of the sauce and throw it in the instant pot with the chickpeas, some onions and potatoes, farro (love my grains!) and then add some cabbage after, or maybe brussel sprouts??? I am getting hungry!
Kale ya!
Your dry humor is my favorite, primary to your FAB, always safe recipes!
You’re the absolute best, Dillon! Your bloopers smack my face with laughter, every time. You always make tasty food seem effortless and this “curry in a hurry” 😂 is doable for everyone. Thanks for being precisely who you are. You are truly helping our worlds to... well. 😜 😘
Thank you so much Jenna! Great to hear from you always!
Well Your World
I do not have a very notable online presence, anymore (priorities... you know). It truly requires something special to draw me in... you measure up, though. 😎
I’ll be making this recipe (among several others) for a friend of mine who asked for quick, simple vegan meals for her daughter to take back to the dorm at Uni.
(I cannot believe I’m winning them over! My friend’s dad was a butcher 🤢) Where I live, I’m the one vegan my friends know. Ahahahaa!!! They come to me with excited energy to tell me when they’ve eaten a vegan or vegetarian meal. It’s funny but I do love what it means. Anyway, thanks for this!!! As always, keep being awesome!
The cornier your introductions are the better I like it
Has anyone made the sauce ahead of time and froze it?
I love the intros! 🙂 Can't wait to try this recipe!
Thank you Nicole! I’ll keep them coming!
I like your obnoxious intros. ty.
Making this soon!
I made this for our dinner last night and it was amazing! Thanks for sharing your great recipes with us, Dylan.
The “yes” with the peas killed me 😂
Awesome, made this tonight, without the peppers. Thanks so much!!
Wonderful!
I've been looking for a PB oil free curry sauce, this one is a Keeper, thank you so much!
Yes as others have said,we like the intro. If we didn!t we probably would n!t be watching your videos.Again another quick simple meal to make.Keep them coming.🍎✌🌍
Thank you Bob! I appreciate it!
How ironic! I was just chatting to Martin (the Great potato Mage) and indirectly Brian (Krocks in the kitchen) about a problem I am having finding a curry sauce with no oil in it! I often eat rice and veg with a curry sauce on top. I use a powder (fairly hot. Enough to leave a tingle in your mouth), but it contains palm oil(in a powder?) Not much but would like to find an alternative without. It has to be easy to make as I am disabled and my wife has to do all the cooking I try to not give her a lot of extra work (cooking two dif meals as it is adds a lot(Anne does not follow WFPB yet). Martin and Brian both suggested you might be able to help and here you are with a vid on a curry! Not exactly what I am after but pos adaptable.
please check out my pre-made ready to go curry sauce for sale on my website wellyourworld.com - I think it might work perfectly for what you are describing and it is totally SOS free!
@@WellYourWorld I would if i could get to the site. See comment below.
Alan Abbott look up Harshdeep Swami on you tube and facebook, he does all of his recipes with no oil and they are delicious
Curry in a hurry....heavens, you could’ve added slurry, worry, furry & and throw in jury. Go ahead...go crazy!
Haha you’re right I went easy on this one! 😜
You are seriously delightful
Thank you Erica!
I am going for it ..boom..😂
So funny at the beginning!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣my daily laugh out loud moments🤣🤣🤣
Do you plan meals for week for your followers in a cookbook or on video. I’m new to site
No we do not. Hope that helps!
Hi dillon i luv yoyr intros
🎉🎉🎉❤❤ looks amazing
I love your intros
I can’t imagine you used a whole head of cabbage. I made this, used 1/3 of a medium head and it was enough. Also adding some potatoes was a good idea. I added some homemade pickled ginger and it actually went well with it...added some interest to the flavor which it needed.
it was a small head
@@WellYourWorld Would love to know how many ounces. Also how many ounces of peas? I have a 2-pound frozen bag.
golden intro eh
dylan - it would be totally something if you sold curry on your website with the mango powder!
We sell an Indian Everything Sauce that can be used to make super fast curries, wellyourworld.com/collections/food/products/indian-everything-sauce
omg what do you not have? Thanks for showing me - I guess I missed that one.@@WellYourWorld
Love the intros!!! They are the best part ... After the finished product of course. Lol
Thank you Melissa!
I love your introductions!!!
this channel's so cultural - I'm always learning about american dishes I never knew - and I'm learning the curry in a hurry - work-life hustle culture. I love cultural recipes - what a fabulous journey - each recipe has a story.
Thanks for the recipe! I haven’t tried cabbage in my curry before, but I have half a head in my fridge. It’s going into the curry pot.
Curry in a hurry? Curry in my belly!
“This is not a perfect recipe”, he says. I say, “Shut your face-mouth you kitchen wizard!” Sweet baybuh jayzus this is tasty af (I’m a cool kid now 😎). I did add red potatoes to the pan and cheated with a handful of sunflower seeds in the blender for a creamier effect.
My friend (they’re all non-vegans) stopped by after dinner, taste tested the curry and asked for it in a take home container. 😂
Of course, I obliged... which means, I’ll have to make more for next week.
Thank you, as always, for being you and sharing your time, energy, perfectionism and recipes... and thank you for having the courage to share yourself with us. 😘
Hi Dillon! I need that knife! Do you have a link where i can buy it? Thanks😊
You can find my favorite knives on my Amazon list! www.wellyourworld.com/gear
@@WellYourWorld thank you kindly!
Keep your goofy intros, please.😀
Ok I shall. XO
LOVE the intros!
💜
WOW! hahaha when you sliced the cabbage YOU and i BOTH said OOH PRETTY! at same time! AHAHAHAAAA
That was great to watch, but you went to fast for me to write it down. How do I get the recipe?🙏🤨
Rewind a few times like i do. Worth it.
I was at TJ today and looked at the vegan Indian jackfruit curry but decided to pass because of the salt. Then I thought I can make my own salt free curry and boom, this video came up without me searching 🤯 🙌🏻 will definitely make it.
Which Indian market did you get the mango powder from? I’m in Az too :) and I might die without mango powder 😍
OK, now I'm really hungry! Will be cooking this---Thank you!!
I love Harsdeep! such an awesome vegan healthy community
Mmm I’ve gotta try this! I have been adding curry spices to everything lately.
Recipe vids are my favorite! Also, how many meals did you get out of that batch? Don't tell me that was ONE meal.
