I just realized I have this so it is easy to put some subtle brightness change to the beat, just like that (after I saw a tutorial to get the plugin Twitch to react to music, I saw that method was pretty clunky compared to how Andrew Kramer did it way back then. This is a real gem!

Awesome plugin! I need HELP with it! When using freqreact+stardust, the music only plays for about 2 seconds and then silence, while the pre-render loads normally. how do I fix it? what is it? please help me!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. The square is just a shape layer that you can create inside of AE. Let me know if you have any questions.
