A while ago I researched a lot into how the drafting process works and tbh there was not that much good information on youtube. This is the most concise, complete, informational video I have seen on the topic so far. Everything is well laid out and easy to understand so long as you know how the game works. Thank you for this video and please keep up the great work!
@@pittaaaabread Nah bro I just dont like to watch streams and youtube content-wise, LS has a couple 2 hour long videos and thats about all there is. As for Dom, if there is anything significant aside from his comments while watching drafts live, I have not seen it yet and would love to
This is a nice video, I've been playing for about 4 years but took a break for the past 3. I have been a Riven otp ever since I first started this game. I want to breach out and climb higher in this game and I understand that I have to counter pick to win sometimes. Great video, keep up the good work.
This is one of the best Champ select guide videos I have seen, well done! Could you make a follow up for like a Clash environment? That is: what champs or strategies are better for the non-competitive Clash tournaments (not bronze or silver tho, you can win with yuumi adc there xD)
Draft is way more complex than this, but still you know more about draft than most professional League coaches. If this knowledge would be used at worlds, the level of play would raise by a lot
@@quachdaddy but still tho, why doesnt clg do what you just discribed. You are a assinstant coach or something right? Tell them how to actually draft and not firstpick renekton, kaisa or other crap. Rather ezreal, graves, gp and so on
I don't get why you have 1.1k likes on this video at this point. This video is a holistic guide to drafting in league. Maybe I am too old and therefore too late, but this was // is a epiphany to me.
wait so you are telling me that after 7 years of playing league, the way to know if im red side or blue side is by paying attention to who gets the first pick?
One thing in low elo is to ensure these 4 points. 1. Have ad AND AP 2. Have engage champ 3. Have a frontline champ in jungle or support 4. U feel that your comp suck,DODGE
Is there a way we could have a flowchart sample of the drafting concepts you have discussed? This was amazing content, but I definitely would enjoy a graphic representation :)
You are correct and this is meta dependant, but this is also true for other lanes. Bot lane can be somewhat diluted in matchups depending on what champs are good in support, and also due to the fact that it is 2 members. At the time this video was released, we were in a very engage heavy meta, where both teams end up drafting meatball champions, which end up doing similar things or result in an even matchup very often. However, I think right now we have a super diverse support meta where counterpick support is actually really strong (ie. enchanter counterpick, picking things like Renata depending on revealed comp, even more flexibility beyon this). Hopefully this helps!

Subbed thanks for video
No worries!!
Im studying for clash coming up 😂
ayo I believe bro its a draft diff after this one FOR SURE
Who decides the draft? Coach or players?
Depends on team, usually draft meeting where coach has plan and players input. On stage it can be decided on player gut too

Just marking to remember myself to make a doc about it in portuguese (so I can understand it better)

LOL alright
coach gap make us 3-0 today

how come support is a good role to blind pick??
botlane matchup is mostly decided by the support picks
