so i ordered a used 7470 and it should arrive winthin the next 2 days. this will be my first hackintosh. i'm currently researching, but the vocabulary is very confusing and i'm having trouble finding out where to get started... a walkthrough on that model would be really REALLY awesome. or just a general overview of the procedure.

I will look into making a tutorial video this weekend possibly, working on another video at the moment. In the mean time you should sort out how you will do Wifi, either order a USB Wifi adapter (easiest), or buy a wifi card that works with MacOS

How is the battery life ? does it last longer on windows 10 or mac os ? And were you able to get airdrop/handoff/continuity working ? great content btw
i haven't done any timed battery tests, but in normal use it seems to last just as long as in Windows. As for Airdrop and all of that, I can't personally test it as I don't use an Iphone, but people report it as working as long as you have the correct wifi/bluetooth card.

Most of the Latitude laptops are able to have hackintosh installed, I believe there is a 15.6 inch variant of most of the ones I covered here.
I have a Alldocube Kbook Laptop, core m3 y-630 core duo 1,51Ghz, 8GB RAM, 512 SSD single drive, intel hd 515 128MB, 13'5 screen in 3:2 display.
Last month I tried to install Hackintosh, it was my first time. The first part was successful, my machine was fast and the graphic stunning, because of my 3000×2000 display. So the mac OS recognized all my hardware part, RAM, drive, GPU and processour, but keyboard, trackpad and Wifi were not functionning.
So I want to make sure that my computer is compatible to Hackintosh right ? It may be a problem with kexts since it was my very first Hackintosh ever.

Yes, you will need a different card as most of these will come with an Intel based card that is not compatible. BCM94360CS2 is the one I used in this video.
@@JTechWorkshop Thanks for the reply. I was able to get this card to work on an E7470 with the BCM94360CD adapter. It also works on an E7440 but the adpater/card combo is too long to put the lid back on. It won't work on the WWAN port. I was wondering if there's a way to get the WWAN port to behave as the WLAN port.

I can't help but point out for further clarification something you mentioned about the 7470. You did state that the RAM maxes out at 32GB which conflicts with the information I had prior to placing an order for one, which is that the maximum RAM is 16GB. Of course, I was disappointed at that info because I was hoping it would be more. Plus, noone volunteered more info on that. So much for community support.
Therefore, I'm asking here again, please. What is the maximum RAM that a Dell Latitude E7470 can take? Is it 8, 16 or 32 please?
To be honest, you really do t need anymore than 16 gigs.
32 (in my opinion of course) is basically reserved for a laptop that has a gpu.
Multiple people in this thread confirming they put 32gb, it could be dependent on what CPU you have, but I would think any i7 would be supported.

I guess the main limitation is cash. Over here, once one purchases an accessory it can almost NEVER be returned no matter what. Otherwise, I would simply try and if it doesn't work, return it. I'm not into any intensive graphics thing just learning frontend development and data analysis for now.
By the way, my cpu is i5 6300U (skylake, I think).

Ebay, you can generally find multiple listings of all these models there at any given time.
There are some dells with 720 screen and there horrible avoid those. 1080p and above only lol
"don t want to buy apple" is a stupid saying. an apple computer is at best 3-4 times more expensive than standard pc s.
