The link to github is in the comments, unfortunately if you haven't spent time on the tonymacx86 forums reading all the basics about how to create a hackintosh it may not be very helpful. took me a month from never touching a mac, to turning my xps 9570 into a fully functional MBP minus the GTX 1060. I used BavarianCakes EFI, it was the only EFI that worked right off the bat. I tried 4 others including Kevin's, lulettersoul's, Xitgun's etc. but unfortunately Lu's is not as well maintained as BavarianCake's and Lu's still has some issues. I use the Vodoo2c kext and I have all the gestures except the launch pad and apps. I opted to buy a Magic Trackpad and wow what a difference. I'm not expert like Kevin, but i'm happy to answer anyone's questions. This is NOT something someone can just show you how to do step by step, There is a Steep learning curve, especially if you've like me and never used mac, terminal and if you don't understand the back end of MacOS etc. but it's very doable. You are going to run in to issues and you'll need to use the forums and the people on github to help you. As with most niche techy things, It was my experience that the hackintosh community is not somewhere you just walk into and everyone makes you feel welcome and hands you everything you need. You really have to put in the time and effort and you'll probably deal with some difficult mods on tonymac. ;-| but like I said it's doable and totally worth it. I turned my 1k dell into a $2800 MBP.

Hello Sunday it works great, just like any other laptop without an Nvidia or Radeon gaming card. Go try out a MacBook Air, same fluidity. The integrated intel graphics supports up to 2, 4K screens I believe.

Sure, I can do that. Looks like there is demand for it so i'll make a tutorial soon. Disclaimer though, some Hackintosh purists may not like it but the tutorial will not be a vanilla based install method - we will be using the premade EFI mentioned in this video
@@KevinShroff But using the EFI means that the Patches and kext files are not applied to the OS directly but remain in the EFI partition. Or am I wrong?
@@freacky22 You're right, but this EFI from Lulettersoul also has some post-installation stuff which instructs you to modify the system (however I think some if not all of it is not necessary, I need to have a proper look at the EFI).

#TheSovietFlag&AnthemGuy 234 Actually...no, Surface is just horrible for Hackintosh. M$ uses crappy Marvell Wifi/BT chips on them and they are all soldered on. The only method to get Wifi/BT working is to go dongle way. But since Surfaces have so few usb port and all those wireless dongles are unstable all the time, the experience will never be good unless M$ changes their design in the future.

I have both a Surface Pro and a MacBook pro, the Surface is basically non hackintoshable, wifi/bt wouldn't work and I think the TypeCover keyboard-mouse combo is unusable.

@@prithvivasishth what are you talking about... Many windows laptops have much better screens than Mac competition. The Dell XPS 15 line has more Adobe and srgb accuracy than the MacBooks.

I'm not so tech savvy and need help with a step by step guide with the procedure you used to get the system ready for the installation of the MacOS. Especially the deactivation of secure boot of the UEFI settings and all the things you said we should do there after😡😡😟😟

i have to Mention Not all Hardware are able to run the proper in Mac 10.14.5 having a Macbook Pro 2012 16 GB ddr3. and 2016 Macbook Pro. Guy made this Video is Running the Fastest Dell in 2019. NVIDIA video Card.
Apple Computer only have AMD & Intel video Card or GPU 2012 & newer. AMD GPU was ATI in video Card non Over Clocked. Intel GPU clock just Right. last Known NVIDIA GPU 2011 Apple Macbook Pro. Non Retina Display.
Mac OS 10.12 or 10.13 less GPU Load and compatible. MacBooks runs quick in Windows.
NVIDIA made good Video Card for Windows. Running Windows XP without Video Driver Support 35% speed Reduction. coming from 98SE to Windows 7 seen changes.

Just got the 9570 with 32gb ram, 1tb ssd, 4K, for $1649! Also picked up the 1830 WiFi card. Looking forward to building out this Hackintosh. Knowing me, this Hackintosh setup will take a couple of days because it never just pans out like how someone else did lol

Can you please make a detailed installation video? This is one of the best Hackintoshes available out there, and many are thinking of buying it but cannot see the "bigger picture" procedure. It would be very helpful, please.
I wouldn't buy the XPS 15 9570 solely to make it a hackintosh though, there's no guarantee the EFI creator will maintain it for upcoming releases, and no guarantee that the current EFI will work in the future with future macOS updates either. There are many other well supported hackintoshes however - the XPS 15 can certainly be a good one but there is a factor of risk involved. That being said i'm still planning to do a tutorial to install macOS on the 9570 from scratch since people are requesting it.

If I can afford an XPS 15, I would add a little bit extra to get the 16" MBP. XPS 15 is way too expansive.

I swear if you want a great hackintosh laptop look for the 2018 HP Pavilion gaming with the i5 8300H and the RX 560X EVERYTHING WORKED except wi-fi on a vanilla install! Core Audio worked the Graphics were seen natively in mojave. I returned the Same model with a 1050ti with 4 gb of Vram for the AMD RX 560X version with 2 GB of Vram. Because it's better to have it on both Mac OS and Windows than to only have it on one OS with the Nvidia card. I wish HP would have offered the same model with the i7 & AMD graphics but it tops out at the 4 core 8 thread i5 8300H every CPU above that was pair with an nvidia card. Also I get like 2 hours better battery life with Mac OS and I have no idea why?

I got it to work! Took a little bit of lulettersouls instructions and bavariancakes instructions and voila. It’s working but power and sleep are a bit wonky. No sdcard, and Bluetooth is a little shoddy on the 1830 card. Other than that, it’s not too bad

I have same laptop with same config that you have. Did thunderbolt port work for you? I have Dell TB16 dock and 2 4K monitors off the dock. So thunderbolt functionality is something that I really need.
Can't stand windows OS as need to reinstall it every 3 - 6 months.

I have installed using Lulettersoul EFI and its working as you explained. However, I have done some modification in terms of SMC. I have switched in to VirtualSMC instead of FakeSMC. In my opinion VirtualSMC gives far more stability than FakeSMC.
Also The USB Type C will only work with HS. I was testing it with SS and it only works if its connected on boot. Still looking forward to see how you have done it. Eagerly waiting for Guide videos even for undervolting.

I have the DW1560 in my Yoga 720-15IKB Hackintosh. The Windows 1903 update solved the DW1560 issue in Windows that you mentioned.

My 1560 was a never ending freeze on boot up, no matter what i tried. I just ended up getting the 1830, The Bluetooth is better and I feel like with the install of the 3rd antenna, the wifi is way better too.

Yeah, you can configure the XPS 15 with a 1TB SSD and then partition it to dual boot Windows and macOS (that's what i've done).

You don't lose the igpu. You lose the EGPU, the discrete graphics. Unless you're planning on gaming or professional production work, it's really not an issue.
Does the type-c port still work? Also when mac is installed, does airdrop and messenger work properly? I really want to do this all my colleague use mac.

on your efi folder under graphics just tick inject nvidia

I've 3 installs on 3 separate xps 9570's and the 1080p screen dell uses for this laptop is garbage. the 4k screen looks insanely better with MacOs. There's a technical reason as to why, something about MacOs not being 1080p native and font smoothing etc, but I forget.
@@d3myz18 the problem with 4k Hackintosh is that battery life is horrible, it's really weird Dell doesn't put 2k screen on xps 15.
@@DiaperTai I agree, my battery life sucks I probably get 4-5 hours. I undervolted my cpu down to 800mhz when idle, that helped.. I wish I would of gotten an i5.

Curious on how you got the Clover Menu to display at normal size. You've got the 4K display model right? On my XPS 15 9560 Hackintosh that bit's super tiny no matter what theme or config changes I've made.

Great video! I own this laptop and have need for bash...err, zsh i suppose. While WSL works fine-ish for most things, I think a native NIX system would do the job. Seeing as i also own an iphone, i think this might be worth the investment, but i am admittedly nervous. How ah...reversible is this? Meaning, what are the odds of bricking this laptop?

At the time of purchase I had choice between Macbook Pro 15 Retina maxed out latest vs. XPS 15 15 touchscreen, 4K maxed out. XPS wat about 1000 cheaper plus XPS had i9 processer with 6 cores 32GB, 1TB so it was no brainer at the time. While XPS 15 I definitely recommend, but my life is a hell. A real hell. And 100% due to Windows OS. It is so painful to work on Windows 10 that I really can give up some Windows only apps and move to something else. I have to at present reinstall Windows every couple of months. Every couple of months Windows becmes sluggish, buggy, things stop working even as simple as browsers. Hopeless memory and CPU management by Windows. Which is not a surprise in my over 20 years of experience. Nothing has changed. Windows was s***t then and it is s***t now. Wish Mac had market share of windows and everything was all about Mac, but history didn't quite let that happen. I might give this Mac a try but it would be great if there there is any other alternative. Dell guys said the support Ubuntu. Not sure how it works though.
One more thing. It's not only CPU and memory management, I think it is fundamentally crap design of the OS itself. If I leave any Windows OS running overnight, it becomes inferior over time and if I do the same with Mac, it becomes much better, so much better that I don't need to run any maintenance tasks at all the way I need to on Windows.
@@GH-bz2nw I completely agree with you, I have the same experience. The XPS 15 hardware itself is great, but Windows itself is so inferior it really ruins the entire experience. Unfortunately macOS on this machine (or any hackintosh laptop, really) is never a 100% flawless experience so this prevents me from using macOS as my daily driver on my XPS 15 - i've observed that battery life in actual usage only hovers around 5 hours under macOS, which is terrible considering the huge, industry leading 97WHr battery in this machine and the fact that it gets ~7 hours with the same usage under a relatively clean Windows install. I suspect its the NVMe SSD unable to reach lower power states (as macOS doesn't support this on a Hackintosh) and the SD Card Reader staying awake under macOS that causes this battery life decrease, as CPU power usage itself is on average (as I've observed) much lower than on Windows, so a swap to a SATA based M.2 SSD and disabling the SD Card Reader may fix this, but i'll have to see...

Install MacOS on a Windows is hard, illegal (pff) and not always the result is perfect
Install Windows on a Mac is easy, legal, and the results are insane, you can even download MacOS touchpad driver on Windows and have all the gestures and natural scrolling of MacOS
I have the exact same laptop as you. It worked for me. Only issue is. No iMessages or FaceTime. tried everything from the provided links and Nothing. OS updates working. Oh and the track pad cursor icon jumps to the bottom left randomly while moving and clicking on things.
