    I've been using this Ultrabook for a few months now and it's been pretty good, definitely above average performance with unbelievably long battery life. One downside is the cooling, it tends to overheat very easily 30 min into normal office work and I wouldn't recommend keeping it on your lap unless you are looking cheap alternative to vasectomy.

      @LEGIONofSPOON21 5 лет назад

      Bottlenecks in performance vary upon configuration, use-case, workload and other very specific variables. Dell always gets the new technology before everyone else, so perhaps your system was under-specced, or you are running a workload outside of software requirements.
      IF you like this one, check at the 3301, which just came out, which is a entry level, Clam shell, version of this one.

      I dont know, do you want to pay extra for Commercial BIOS support (Fleet management), Presence sensing security features, long life cycles of 4 or more years, and Windows 10 Pro? Are you taking it with you everywhere you go and need lightwight design? Are you trying to connect it to your business network?
      Are you trying to use vPro to remotely manage it from your vacation on the beach?
      Latitudes are meant to be managed at scale, where inspirons etc are not. (Dell Client Command Suite, natively run within SCCM, KACE, landesk(quest) etc.)
      If the answer to all these questions are no, then you must REALLY like it to pay that much for it. technology directors need solutions they can manage in a single pane of class 1:many, where consumers do not. 1:1.

I'm not normally even a Latitude guy, but this laptop does things that are really innovative - plus I personally have been using it for the last month because I like it so much. I also feel there are tons of gaming laptop reviews out there, though I appreciate your interest in getting my thoughts. I always try to do more, but I also have Windows Central to write on, help direct, the podcast every Friday, and events to cover - in that sense, I'm not (nor ever will be) your typical RUclipsr reviewer.
