Now that I have a lot more time thanks to the in-home quarantine, I think I'll use some of my late mother-in-law's quilting fabric & make some potholders for her granddaughters for Christmas. I have never quilted, but I have sewed for many, many years. This video is exactly what I was looking for, something easy & fast. Thanks!

I love this. I am recovering from a stroke, April of this year. This week was my first session with my sewing machine and it was great. At first I was a bit clumsy but I can do everything required. You can imagine how good this is for me, Thankyou for sharing your very clever ideas. Today I made a very tasty corn chowder from a RUclips family, Stivers Homestead so this has been a nice, learning day for this ol gal. Thankyou and hello from Belast NI.

Awesome. Funny, you don't look like the kind of lady who would be looking for fast, fun, and easy. I am most impressed. I'm getting too frail to maneuver whole bed quilt so I'm making pillows. I can't wait to make these all into pillows. I'm thinking coordinating outdoor fabric and throw pillows in all these different blocks all over the patio furniture. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I'm looking for more of your work.🤗

I noticed that some were thinking that this was a lot of wasted fabric, and it is if you look at it that way.. But, I am a beginner quilt, and this method is the FIRST method I tried as a BEGINNER quilter.. I LOVED IT... It was sooooo easy.. I recommend this to ALL NEW BEGINNING QUILTERS..... so fast and so easy... I LOVED IT... Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us...God bless...

Hi Mary, I totally agree with you! I have lots of 'wasted' fabric in unfinished quilt tops that have became too daunting to finish due to their complicated cutting and piecing techniques. Better a finished quilt than a half-finished one that zaps your confidence. Great comment, thanks for your perspective, I'm definately trying this!
