Thank you so much for having this video up. I just had carpel tunnel surgery, and I’m trying to find projects that don’t have a lot of cutting. Thank you
I noticed that some were thinking that this was a lot of wasted fabric, and it is if you look at it that way.. But, I am a beginner quilt, and this method is the FIRST method I tried as a BEGINNER quilter.. I LOVED IT... It was sooooo easy.. I recommend this to ALL NEW BEGINNING QUILTERS..... so fast and so easy... I LOVED IT... Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us...God bless...
Hi Mary, I totally agree with you! I have lots of 'wasted' fabric in unfinished quilt tops that have became too daunting to finish due to their complicated cutting and piecing techniques. Better a finished quilt than a half-finished one that zaps your confidence. Great comment, thanks for your perspective, I'm definately trying this!
Mercy, mercy this is the most quick and easy quilting technique ever...What I like is every seam meets no uneven seams at all. Love, love this technique and best of all NO CUTTING. Kudos to you Peg for a job well done...
Now that I have a lot more time thanks to the in-home quarantine, I think I'll use some of my late mother-in-law's quilting fabric & make some potholders for her granddaughters for Christmas. I have never quilted, but I have sewed for many, many years. This video is exactly what I was looking for, something easy & fast. Thanks!
I love this. I am recovering from a stroke, April of this year. This week was my first session with my sewing machine and it was great. At first I was a bit clumsy but I can do everything required. You can imagine how good this is for me, Thankyou for sharing your very clever ideas. Today I made a very tasty corn chowder from a RUclips family, Stivers Homestead so this has been a nice, learning day for this ol gal. Thankyou and hello from Belast NI.
I have never seen anything so ingenious!!!! Can't wait to try it. Can't believe anyone could be grumpy enough to thumbs down a fabulous video. Thank you so much for sharing this technique.
I've wanted to make a picnic tablecloth forever, but didn't want to add a back. This method is perfect for my tablecloth. It's a great idea. Thank you!
Awesome. Funny, you don't look like the kind of lady who would be looking for fast, fun, and easy. I am most impressed. I'm getting too frail to maneuver whole bed quilt so I'm making pillows. I can't wait to make these all into pillows. I'm thinking coordinating outdoor fabric and throw pillows in all these different blocks all over the patio furniture. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I'm looking for more of your work.🤗
Wow! Out standing, I can't wait to try this method. I have been sewing since I was a child and this has brought new life into quilting. Great Job and Thank you!
I love your creativity .... I havent dont triangles as I am self taught and I stick to squares and rectangles.... Thank you I am going to give this a go...
+National Quilters Circle I LOVE your video! Tg is is a major tip in quilting for me. After four years I am so glad I found this! A great way to make a fast quilt. As far as the doubled areas of fabric, I'm thinking of a flannel lap quilt...the extra fabric would be great for warmth.
I think this is a really GREAT idea, I'd have never have thought of it, and it's so effective, and there's no worry about those raw edges!!!!!!! Thank you so much for a great tutorial
How SMART and CREATIVE is this guest. I would have never thought of any of these ingenious yet simple ideas. I especially loved the last block that made the pinwheel.
