My 5-year-old great granddaughter, Charlotte, loves to hear, "Hi! I',m Donna Jordan from Jordan Fabrics!" She loves watching you make a quilt! Thanks for doing what you do!!
Thank you for taking the time to make these tutorials for us! You are such a wonderful instructor and the way you simplify the steps to the blocks are so helpful to me as a beginner quilter! ❤
I so agree!! I just re-watched the video about finishing a quilt--making borders, backing, binding. Donna, you are such a great instructor, zooming in to show the work and mentioning various methods. Thank you so much!
No unnecessary words. Everything is so clearly explained and can be seen step by step. No cats. No clutter. No gossip. Thank you so much. You have spoiled us with your beautiful tutorials.
I agree 100%. Donna is so professional, but yet relatable and personable. I don’t watch quilting videos to listen to someone drone on and on about why they buy their groceries on Wednesday. I know I’m spoiled!
I have been looking for a perfect easily put together pattern to make my son's college friends for a gift. I have to make 4 in total and I think I will call them a circle of friends. Great pattern! Your quilt is gorgeous Donna!
that was fabulous! you are going to make me buy a jelly roll! i have an idea rolling in my head right now! i don't do quilts but i do create canvas tote bags and make up pouches but i love the quilt making process!! those colors are amazing!!! thank you for this fantastic video!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I'm giving thanks for you, your son's videos and husband's contribution to quilting knowledge available via the internet. Concise, closeups, skill in all aspects and enjoying the process. Adult education at its best! Thank you.
When I saw the pattern today I immediately thought of a group of fabrics that would create a "Xmas Wreath" instead of the circles - guess its "beginning to look a lot like Christmas" :-) lovely pattern today - thank you for all you do for us. xx
Hi from the UK where I've just heard Grants Pass mentioned on the BBC weather report. I hope you and your family are staying warm and safe. I watch your tutorials avidly and love everything you do. You explain each stage of quilt making so clearly. Thank you Jordan family.
Donna: 1. You should show us a closeup of your nails at the beginning of each episode! 2. Have you considered doing some ASMR quilting videos? No music or narration, just the clicking of the rulers, the rotary cutter, the sewing, etc. Very relaxing, and there aren't enough videos like that out there.
On #2 I have to disagree with You in that one. Because when You are watching someone very famous with their own Store to Purchase from, it’s Always Great to Hear on how to do her Patterns step by step !!!! Just sayin
That is such a beautiful quilt, Donna. You make it look so easy to make. Thank you for sharing this video with us and thank you for your skills as an instructor, you’re awesome! 😊
Donna, I make a lot of quilts for the Children's Healthcare hospital near me. The kids would love this quilt with those bright colors. I just have to applique their name in the border. Thanks for sharing this pattern.
I love watching all your videos. I find them helpful and inspirational. I love watching you cut the fabric, and that you start us at the beginning and teach it all. I have a request. Is it possible to do a video of your husband and the way he cuts all the strip sets? Kind of how he picks the fabric to make those and does he get people asking him to make sets out of certain colors. Thank you for all the help. If I ever get back to Grants Pass I will be looking forward to stopping by. My two sister-in-laws live in Medford, so we go right by you on the way.
Sometimes I watch videos of yours while I am waiting for a new one. Your voice is easy to listen to and easy to understand. I like your method of cutting and sewing instructions. Keep up the good work.
Love it when I receive a notification that a new Jordan Fabrics video has dropped.. my heart was aflutter... Lovely quilt The use of the dark purple really set off the quilt.
Good morning Donna and everyone at Jordan Fabrics. I enjoy your videos and watch at least one every morning. Not only are the videos great but so is the service and products from Jordan Fabrics. Thank you!
I try not to miss any of your videos. You are so inspiring and knowledgeable! I love your methods. You are consistent with each process. Thanks for doing this for us. You are the best!
I am a constant watcher, always looking for your new videos. I love how you teach, it’s a slow down and take it one simple step at a time approach. The camera work is always on the spot perfect. Close ups where we need them and we don’t have to guess about anything.
Thanks a lot for your creativity. This is the best channel about patchwork. I don't speak English, but everything you do is clear without words. Since the beginning of the war in my country, I have not watched your videos, all attention is focused on the events in the news feed. Today I wanted to watch exactly your videos and found it at the very end of the list of subscriptions. I look and I can not hold back the tears. Thank you for your hard work, talent, sense of beauty and desire to share it with others. I hope someday I will return to this hobby.❤️
Lost at bobbin chicken. Dang it. 😂 But unsurprisingly you take it in stride and move on. Happy Thanksgiving. I am grateful for your videos. I love everything about them. Thank you.
Donna, I have COVID.... Again.... And your tutorials are so soothing for me to watch. I appreciate your talent and can voice! I watch all off them over sand over.
Wow Donna this is probably the most beginner friendly quilt I have ever seen and its so pretty. I will be getting this pattern and making it into a baby quilt. I might even get shades of pink or blue. A big THANK YOU.
Your videos are the BEST, I’m mesmerized and glued to every video you’ve done. Clear, concise, perfect tempo, and your color choices and designs are fantastic! You inspire me! And you’re so cute 😊. Thanks for doing these!!
Thank you Donna, for another beautiful, easy to follow tutorial. I recently joined a quilt guild, and when they asked me who taught me to make quilts, I told them YOU did! During the pandemic, I made so many of your quilts, and learned so much. And Matt! Your hand cut fabrics are SO MUCH better than the pinked ones! If I could only have one fabric store, it would be Jordan Fabrics! I'm thankful for you!
I watch alot of quilting videos and you are by far the best teacher in showing how to make it easier and faster. Thank You So Very Very Much for the effort and time you put in...
This is a colorful, beautiful, and happy looking quilt. You always choose the perfect colors to go together. I sometimes have to ask someone's child to help me choose the best prints or accent fabrics (because their eyes are young and see colors much better than mine). That dark purple looks black to me (until it is put beside the white). I have never bought a Jellyroll; but, you have been proving that buying a jellyroll is the best way to get strips of fabric that are perfect together. I'm off work this week; and, I hope I can catch one of the local Quilt Shops open. Thank you for this wonderful video.
Merci de faire paraître les étapes parfois compliquées si simples c'est toujours un plaisir de vous voir couper et coudre mais surtout de vous écouter un bonjour de la BELGIQUE
It’s a very pretty pattern and I love the colors. Best of all, you did a lovely quilting pattern, it wasn’t just quilted to death. I liked the light airy quilting design.
I think most quilters like light, airy quilting. One of the nicest aspects of quilting is that we can do things using our own personal preferences for how to pick colors, quilting patterns, and density.
Of the several quilting videos I watch from different RUclipsrs, yours always inspire me the most. Thank you for making this craft seem less daunting. You are appreciated for what you do.
Good afternoon Donna and all the Jordan 'family', I love this beautiful rainbow quilt, it is lovely in all the different batik colours making it a soft rainbow instead of a bright stark rainbow that total solids would make. The pattern i think would suit any age range just in different colours, such as monochrome for more masculine look, pastels for a baby quilt or even the plain bright rainbow colours depending on your nursery. A beautiful pattern that is so versatile that can be used with so many different materials, so well worth the cost i think. With the way the world is at the moment we need to be able to make more use of our fabrics and patterns. I don't know HOW i missed the video of the giveaway quilt being made, but i have somehow but that is just going to be rectified when i finish typing . Thank you Donna, Matt, James and all at Jordan fabrics that make it possible for all of us to get expert tuition from Donna while rest of the "family" beaver away in the background. I totally appreciate the help, expertise and friendship that i feel every time i watch you all in action. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
I was purposefully trying to make a less bright rainbow quilt by using the dusty purple as an accent and using the very light lavender for the background.
I love your videos and get so inspired to do new quilts that look far beyond my skill level because you explain them so well. I know you love using batiks as you did on this video. I always wonder how do you keep the batiks from bleeding all over when you have such dramatic contrast in colors. I tend to shy away from them because I don't want to prewash everything. But the colors are so beautiful and you make them look so fun. Thanks for any advice, and thank you for making such wonderful videos.
I never pre-wash, and have not had any bleeding with Hoffman, Kaufman, Anthology or Banyan batiks. You can wash finished quilts with color catcher cloths (Shout makes a good one) that will catch any excess dye.
I always love seeing you have a new video out! Beautiful quilt and great choice of colors. For me that is always the hardest part. Choosing colors. Thanks Donna!
Thank you Donna, It's a beautiful quilt and so is your wonderful give away. Thank you for all your instructions and for all you do in helping us make great quilts .
Hi Donna, Your "Circle Back" Quilt truly is a Creative Masterpiece. I love the colours you picked for the pieces, background and boarder. At first, it looks like a challenging design that would be difficult to accomplish. I was, however, pleased to see how easy your construction methods made its assembly. I found right from the start that this quilt design and its name brought to mind thoughts of having one's fortune told. The pattern could represent the many paths we take during our life's journey. The colour in each block reminds me of the beauty to be noticed and appreciated along our way. And, the pattern title of "Circle Back" might be the directive given suggesting there is something yet to be discovered and the timing is now right. Fanciful thinking, I know, just for fun. The colours are so cheerful and the design brings movement to mind. Thank you for sharing the creation of this beauty: I enjoyed the entire video 🥇💖
I really love this Quilt Pattern though the colors are my sisters.....I would love it in fall colors! Thanks for doing these videos, your such an inspiration to me and I am sure others!

This would look fab in Christmas colours, the wreath shapes 💕 ho ho ho
When I saw the pattern today I immediately thought of a group of fabrics that would create a "Xmas Wreath" instead of the circles - guess its "beginning to look a lot like Christmas" :-) lovely pattern today - thank you for all you do for us. xx
I had the same exact thought. :) This would be gorgeous in Christmas fabrics.
I am thinking ONE block in Christmas fabrics would make a lovely wall hanging!!
Donna, Circle Back is a quilt I'm going to try after I get done with all the ones I've got quilt by hand. It's Beautiful.
Love the totally tropics giveaway. I need to go watch that tutorial.

I don't know what I love the most this awesome quilt or the beautiful nails!!!
Half the fun of these videos is seeing Donna’s nail designs. Bravo to your nail tech!
I don't like long or painted nails and I think they really get in the way.
@@gloriawoods9848 .. haha - long nails definitely get in my way, but they don’t seem to pose any problem to Donna!
