On the SID the positions of the waypoints are stated so if you can't find it on the default FSX map you can make it yourself on that position you have to have all your chart-options on to do that.
I noticed you mentioned the cost of the software. This morning I filled up my car with with gas and realized that my purchase of one of these airplanes would only be enough to put a tankful of gas in one of the developer's cars. Tremendous bargain if you look at it in that light.
Thanks for helping out is there like a search function like CRTL +F when doing the flightplan via default FSX on those big airports its a pain in the ass to find the intersection or waypoint
Yes but it's so tedious and slow. I always use this little software called SimplePLNMaker, you can download it here: www.aero.sors.fr/designer_pilot_utilities2.html (it's not a harmful link trust me). The way it works is just simply entering the waypoint names (enter each in new line). It can be an intersection, a VOR or an NDB. Then you can load up the .pln file from FSX. 3 years late but I hope this helps if you are still wondering.
Thanks for the editorial. I fly FSX default. Now I can now enter waypoints.
This was a big help to me too. Five years ago and still relevant!
Good job, was thinking of getting the Lion heart Lear but was worried about it not having an fmc so this, really helps.
+Pickle in glad this was helpful for you
ngl that's a bloody awesome intro!
thanks. this really helped me.

Isn't there a way to add SID waypoints using the GPS?

Have you seen the news on the aerosoft crj they pushed the release once AGAIN(ugh) to January 28 2016 :(
+Major Moore I stopped looking; my heart can only take so much disappointment ;-)
lol, by the time the crj comes out you will be a captain and you will be flying another plane.
+Major Moore I know right? What has it been...five years? Just sayin
yep for real
I think that INTC stands for Intercept.
+Mark Oelbaum Mark, you are correct, and I believe that I mention it later in the video. Thanks for the info!
+Captain_Mac Apologies. I stopped the video to reply to you, then notice that you did mention it later on.
+Mark Oelbaum No worries :-) I'm always glad to have someone chime in. I learn too. Thanks for the assist.
I am confused
That's vague...if you could be more specific I would be happy to try and help you out
