    How did my mom get wealthy with a debilitated Pisces 11 degrees Mercury and 5 degree combustion. This Mercury also rules her 2nd house. It's also last place Shadbhala and very high KP. Also her lagnesh is extremely old and conjunct Algol. Plus most of her planets are in quadrant 3 (6, 7, 8).

    In the avasthaas explained, Lets consider an example. If Jupiter is in 5 degrees in sign of cancer (odd sign) it is in mritha avasta. But this is the deep exaltation point of jupiter as well. How can both be possible? Please help me understand.

    Hi Ryan
    Happy New Year ..How do i judge the aspects of Jupiter and saturn in the natal chart as for certain Ascendants eg for Capricorn Asc -Jupiter is Func Malefic but Saturn is Functional Benefic.So for such Ascendants, Will jupiter's aspects be malefic and Saturn's Be benefic ?

    Hi, Ryan! Txs for another great video. Could U please clear out some things about Dignity and Jagradaadi avashtas.
    As I anderstood: Planets rule houses, the capacity of the planet in question f.ex. Jupiter to manage the afairs of the houses Ju rules is shown by Jagradaadi avashtas(awake, sleepy, asleeap). So- Ju awake (jagrad)- great, sleepy(svapna) 50% capacity. Ok.
    Than dignity shows planets capacity to how well planet in question (Jupiter) can express it's inate quality (for Ju: to have optimism, to see the bigger picture) and it will be felt in the house where Jupiter is in, let's say in 7th house( debilitated - bad (to optimistic or forgiveing regards relationships), if in GF dign - good (enjoys relationships). Is this is also right?
    But the confusing part for me is where You also use planets dignity for accesing the planets in question (Jupier) capacity for managing afairs of houses it rules.
    Yes, I know, what dignity and jagradaadi avastas are calculated based on planetary friendships with each other. It's just that the planet can be in "enemy" dignity, but still svapna(sleepy) by jagradaadi avashta and so has 50% capacity to manage the houses it rules and also planet can be in "Neutral" dignity, but sushupti (asleep) by jagrad avashta witch means close no 0% capacity to manage afairs oh houses it rules. Is using jagradaadi avashtas is better than using dignity to see how well platet manages houses it rules or do U use both. Ofcourse we here exclude lajjitaadi avashtas.
    So, what to use when I want to know planets capacity to manage the afairs of houses it has rulership over?

      kaaposts burkaans Consider it this way, a planet in good dignity but in bala avastha, can show a good karma, but that the person does not work with or deal with them in a mature fashion. Or that if we have a planet in GE or DB dignity but in Yuva state, that they will be able to deal with that karma from a mature point of view.

      Ryan Kurczak thanks, Ryan. That is interesting point of view! Helps alot :) But, I would rather choose DB planet in mrita state :D

    • @kaapostsburkaans1385
      @kaapostsburkaans1385 9 лет назад

      kaaposts burkaans Just in relation to baladi avashtas... when we are talking about lajjitaadi avashtas(I know it's lil bit off topic, but still - intresting topic those avashtas!), Particulary speaking about agitation. F.ex.: Mercury conjunct Sun(juva state) in Aquarius(this is full aspect of 60 rupas from sun to Me). My understanding is that in rashi there is no agitation happening to mercury, because sun is in natural Enemys sign even regarding Sun's juva baladi avashta.
      Is that right? If so, then how to look at this aspect in vargas. Let's say D10 (could be any varga) Mercury is in capricorn, but Sun is in aries (or any natural friends sign, so Sun is at least awake/ sleepy by jagradaadi avashta). Sun here is now impacting Mercury by delighting it or it will be felt as agitation in that particular varga as well, because we must take that "Rashi chart agitation" in consideration in all vargas.?

    • @kaapostsburkaans1385
      @kaapostsburkaans1385 9 лет назад

      kaaposts burkaans regards those Su and Me lajjitaadi avashin reply above. Well looks like it will be felt as agitation in all vargas as well :) So, just would like to have your aproval in question about using Baladi and jagradaadi avashtas within Lajjitaadi avashtas. So, we use Baladi and Jagradaadi avashtas when we consider one planets inpact on another planet, right?

    • @RyansVedicAstrology
      @RyansVedicAstrology  9 лет назад

      kaaposts burkaans That's right. The balaadi and Jagradaadi avashtas will be different in each varga, usually.

    Hi Ryan, thanks for the video. I don't have Kala yet and am wondering about how to assign Jagrsadi to the planets. Is this correct; Deb/GE/E = Asleep, Neutral, F, GF = Sleepy, and GF/Exalted = Wide Awake?

    if one has their ascendent at 0 degrees, does this still mean that planet will act as infant when they are at 0 degrees?

    • @RyansVedicAstrology
      @RyansVedicAstrology  10 лет назад +3

      That is always a trick position, and one that requires the intuition of the astrologer to determine. Either way, either Mrita or Bala, it will still be weak due to this.

    Hello Ryan. In the video speaking about Balaadi, you were using Mars in the 8. I am confused because you were comparing it with an odd sign, meaning it was old. If compared with the even signs, it would be in an adolescence stage, thus effecting it more? Am I missing something? Thank you

    • @RyansVedicAstrology
      @RyansVedicAstrology  7 лет назад

      What's the time stamp you are referring to so I can go double check?

    • @astrogumbo
      @astrogumbo 7 лет назад

      starting at 2:10, you use mars in 8th
      at 4:10 you compare the 8th to the odd signs. Just want to make sure Im tracking

    I have mars in cancer in the 8th house in my navamsa chart. does that mean it's going to be very difficult for me to get married or my marriages wouldn't last long? or maybe my longevity won't last long?

    • @spannycat2
      @spannycat2 2 года назад

      My mom has Mars in 8th and it rules 7th. She did get married but it wasn't happy. But also her lagnesh and darakaraka Venus is dead and conjunct Algol.
