Exalted Atmakarka Mars in the 7th house of capricorn with rahu the Amatyakarka in close conjunction. what does this mean ?
I sometimes find astrology to be a bit contradicting. ( I'm not sure contradicting is the right word) On one hand, we are told that the birth chart is a reflection of our habits and tendencies but we are able to transcend that and on the other hand, we are told to make peace with things. Now, this is like a mars and Saturn conjunction scenario : ) Do I take action or not take action, or should I know where in the chart an action taken will be fruitful and where it will not be, I just make peace with that aspect alone.
This is what we have to workout for ourselves. No astrologer, guru, or any other person can harmonize these contradictions. But consistent contemplation over years will bring it into your direct experience.
I once heard a teacher of the old testament say, "All is written, and choice is given."
Astrology is full of Polarities. Every sign and planet indicates a polarity. We can choose to embody the higher vibrational polarity, or the lower vibrational polarity, as part of our spiritual development. For each person those Polarities look different, the challenges in different areas of life, etc. But always a choice. Never SETTLE for what you think your chart dictates for you.. there's always a higher vibrational aspect that could be embodied, even if it takes work, endurance and suffering to heal through the soul's karma etc, to get there.
there is a secret astrology .....which can be 100% accurate but only few knew it & after leARNING THIS THEY LOSE THE DESIRE OF BEING RICH & FAMOUS ....
My friend has Moon for atmakarka, and it is exactly conjunct my atmakarka Mars. (which is exact conjunct Ketu also in my chart!).. there must be some heavy karma here?? Appreciate your thoughts! ;)
I have Jupiter and Mars squaring each other. Mars in Revati and Jupiter in Poorvashadha both at 23 degrees. The free software by J Hora that I’ve installed won’t give me exact degrees so I’m unable to determine which planet is Atmakaraka and Amatya Karaka. Can you recommend a sidereal site that gives absolute degrees with Vedic signs please? And may I also ask why Ernest Wilhelm and yourself use sidereal calculation but tropical signs?
Excellent teaching See as u said "Some people have no knowledge but still lot of people know them or follow them" but in astrology there is something like time and luck some very good and talented people leave a life in some corner .Its time Which makes or breaks people that is reason we see some non deserving candidates on top position ....but u have great knowledge my suggestion 1) Make it easy and connect it with some very common example so that even a Layman can understand 2)Make People Talk about astrology in easy language as in put a post and share it with people 3)Make daily predictions about different zodiac signs on facebook or on twitter 4)if possible make prediction about different kind of stocks and intentional political scenario ...I mean love to see What a good and Knowledgeable person has too say on this
+Arzoo Singh Thanks Arzoo...There are plenty of people doing regular daily predictions. I've found astrology to be very specific to each individual, and so at this time am not inclined to do larger group dynamics, as I think anyone at anytime might at some point agree with something, not because of astrology but because of probability. How what I understand the state of an ascendant lord that is positioned in the sixth house, bu t it's in Moolatrikona dignity and conjunct a friendly planet. Would it mean the ascendant lord is strong but the person will be placed in difficult situations in life to overcome?

How do you see Gochar ? I have seen y Gochar with moon sign and ascendant but with Ascendat, i see its much y prediction for month year or days are more to do with ascendant then with Moon Sign ....as in I am Pisces Rashi and Tula ascendant and in Navmasa i am a Aquarius ascendant....and my characteristics are very much similar like a Thula and Aquarius in Navmasa but Should we give Navmasa this importance by Navmasa ascendant is more about me then My Rashi ....

Throughout life it will provide the foundation. During the dasha it will be felt with more intensity.
Athmakaraka and karakamsha mainly plays it's role in one individual person's job / employment.

I'm Gemini eising. My Atmakaraka is Jupiter in the 6th house with my Lagna Lord Mercury and with the Lord of the 6th house Mars. So what does that mean? Jupiter as my Atmakaraka can't help because he's in a bad house ? Aand My lagna lord Mercury? Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS: Perhaps this is also important,that my Sun is in the 7th house with Saturn, in Sagittarius sign.

If karakamsha is Gemini, profession should be related to IT, communication, Training, Business, Astrology.....etc.... everything related to Mercury...But the accuracy of the job profile should be analysed from 10th house, 10th lord, 10th lord's Navamsha and Saturn.

What combinations make an astrologer psychic or intuitive as opposed to ones who are scientific?
Mercury tends towards the scientific let's figure it out based on actual phenomena approach. Jupiter more intuitive, although they can both go together.

The second difference should be accounted in these cases.....you must use proper Ayanamsa to avoid confusion in this type of calculations.
I am willing to meditate (Actually,I kinda enjoy the clarity and the void), do services, fasting(not so much but I would try), and work hard to achieve my fantasies. Maybe after my fantasies then I would walk away from everything.

Astrology helps you see your conditioning. Then you can decide to walk away or not. Of course some fantasies can be deeply ingrained, and may take quite a bit longer to "walk away" from.
my atmakarka is 27 degrees of moon in piscese in the 7th house in rasi and i have a moolatrikona of mars in aries...aswini in the 8th house.
both planets are in d9 as well.

Hi Ryan, We have been taking care of this abandon cat since last 2 years. Its a male cat and we named him Leo. Our mind boggling Q is, how come its us, why does he come to our home, why does he just want my girls to play with him. I saw a kitty in your video and just thought of asking this Q.
Another thing is, we had the hardest time training ourselves of feeding him food that contains meat. I used only give him milk and water. He surely wanted more than that. We just didn't want to touch the cat food but now we are way pass all that. Why do we feel so much love towards Leo? Please do reply what you think about this situation. Thanks for the video.

This is something that requires consistent contemplation on your own. I know, because I kept asking that question too, and no one could explain it to me. It wasn't until I started contemplating that paradox, that it began to make sense. It is something the mind has a hard time with.
Isn't it that as one makes spiritual progress (higher consciousness) you can becomes more free in the mind to make a wider range of choices, i.e. less bound by the birth chart
You can chose to be a teacher or you can choose to be a counselor. Some people don’t really know what they are looking for exactly. But it would be good to clarify who and what you are so the public can discern what it is you are able to do for them. Kind of like a disclaimer.

I'm still unclear on whether a stronger planet is always a good thing. Some sources claim that dusthana lords, for instance, cause bigger problems for you if they are exalted. I guess this will clear up with time.
No that's true, and that ties into the principle of raja yogas etc. Those lords can be yoga breakers if they are involved with other lords with good association. We will cover this more in the 3rd class in Year two of the Astrological Apprenticeship Course.

I think a psychic read my chart. i was not too happy with that. grateful, but alarmed. vedic astrology is fascinating in that it's able to predict-- but my future is not set in stone by any man. the only one who truly knows is between me and God Himself. I'll forge my own life to the way I see fit, tyvm.

So... if you truly believe that, why did you go to the psychic to begin with? Yes, the future is not set in stone, that's because we have free will. And what I learned is that we all came here before being born knowing what type of life experiences we have arranged for ourselves to learn or to go through because of the karma accumulated from a past life. So that we can get towards more higher vibrations and get closer to God on Earth. Sometimes it may look harsh, that's how it is, reality, ruled by Saturn.
Jeric Tamayo I didn't go to the psychic. The psychic just happened to be there while I was looking for answers, but instead of guidance I got "predictions." I quote that because it is their personal interpretation, and no one knows what will truly happen to anyone but God. Because we have free will. The problem is, you can go beyond Saturn. And that needs to be acknowledged as a facet of life. If justice was the end-all, then why is there mercy? That is when we learn to let go, and the universe is no longer binding.
