Thank you for delivering such wonderful information with immense clarity. 🙏
I understand astrology the way you teach :) thank you
This is really informative, thanks!
very nice one ,well done Ryan sir
Thank you!
As a newcomer to vedic astrology, I wish to thank you for such a clear and helpful video. Everything you said about aspects makes sense. Is there a similar point system for judging the strength of the proximity of two planets in the same sign, which would be considered conjunct?
Any plans on an astronomy video? I'd be interested considering you're one I the few I know who uses tropical signs with sidereal nakshatras. Any tips on how to make it seem so complex? Every word just makes me go "huh?"
Are the specific graha aspects illustrated later in the video considered for the formation of yogas? If so, how many points can have a recognizable impact in a Raja yoga?
Use a wheel chart. it is so much easier. i switch it to a wheel in my mind. You see all the interaction so much better and the geometic patterns chart forms usually gives information. use same rules from a wheel and western will understand easier.
This is an interesting point of difference between the systems. Vedic doesn't use a wheel because Ptolemaic aspects don't apply. Vedic astrology is almost completely numerology-based, so the 12 divisions are what counts, not the geometric shapes you see with a wheel. This is actually something I'm still deciding about-- I really like having the wheel as well, and I think there is an interpretive power to seeing the planets as they appeared graphically when you were born.
so say you have an exalted moon in 6th aspecting saturn in enemy sign in 12th; on one hand the moon is positively influencing the 12th house, but on the other hand it's starving saturn....so what happens as far as that area of life?
why there is dotted line in 240 to 270 ,i have not understand? pl tell sir
For Su,Mo,Me,Ve they aspecting the 4th house from it with 75% strength while aspecting the 10th from it only have 25% strength, if Mo is at 2nd house and Ve is at 5th house, does it means that Mo influence more on Ve, but less on the contrary? And also so much difference for 150 and 210 on strength which i thought they would be the same......Interesting.
Hi Ryan do you have a video explaining the importance of different planetary aspects on certain planets? I took Ernst's Lajjitaadi Avastha course where only certain planets produce effects on others through aspect pertaining to being a friend or enemy. I assume this system is slightly different. For example with this system would Saturn create a difficult aspect when it is aspecting Venus even though they are considered friends? Or would Saturn have an effect by aspecting the Moon even though he is not an enemy of the Moon unless conjunct?
each planet shares a particular energy. it depends on how one works with that energy as to how difficult or struggle it could be
HI Ryan! Planets do something(generate energy) and signs are giving caracter and houses are the areas in life.
So when a planet (parashara-)aspects another planet it directly feeds a planet(and the house it sits in, but not the sign?) with its own energy. Put if this planet sits in a sign which aspects another sign with a planet in it, it kind of does what effect on the planet in that rashi?? Is it somehow transforming the karakter(putting together the rashis with with or without the planets in it and becoming a caractar because of it?) of the other planets " caracteral environment"/sign? Or how does it make effect? and how does that effect the planets?
Many Thanks!
/Frida
***** Rashi aspects influence the foundation of the area of life ruled by the sign. Planetary aspects impact the consciousness of the planets and how you react to that foundation. Please see the Astrological Principles I, II and III courses on this site. We explored this in detail in nearly 30 hours of class time. It's not easy. ashevillevedicastrology.wordpress.com/asheville-vedic-astrology-academy/
Thank you for another great video. I was looking at a chart where Saturn is in the first house and it should have a 60 or around 60 points aspect to the 7 bhava, however it shows only 16 points of influence. What can cause this? Is it because of the degree of Saturn, because that would explain it so Saturn or any planet just aspects by degrees, which for Saturn happens to be approximately at 3rd,7th,10th houses away? so in a sense it might be wrong to say it aspects the 7th house but rather 90 degrees away? (calculation done based on Kala at vaultoftheheavens.com). Thank you!
That's correct about the degrees. Try to enlarge the video to see the points by degree in regards to Saturn. It may be the degrees from Saturn to 7th bhava cusp fall in that space, just before the 180 degrees where the points are low.
Thank you!
Huh, this is a twist.. Not to mention rasi aspects in your previous video.. I'm afraid there's still a lot to come :-D
? How would you consider the strength of conjunctions? Not much has been yet told of that I think. These graphs show 0 strength for those.
? Also, what about the aspects of Rahu and Ketu?
How does one calculate the varupas in Kala? Is is the same as the shad bala?
Peggy Traeg That would take a little longer than a youtube comment. See Ernst Wilhelm's Grahu Sutras book, or find a good version of Brihat Parahsara Hora Shastra.
I just wanted to know how to get the chart in the KALA software. I figured it out. Thanks.
