Ryan , you forgot to mention that Charles manson had a debilitated Saturn in the navamsha. Saturn in Aries means debilitation, right? And Saturn was his Atmakaraka
Hi, Ryan, how would you treat the situation, when 2 planets are identical in degrees (within 1 minute) competing for the position of atmakaraka ? Also, what about traditional graha aspects - should we take them into consideration e.g. in navamsa when judging Jaimini karakas ? What is your opinion ?
+skystranger73 If one is higher in degrees AND minutes that is the atmakaraka. I do not take Graha Aspects into the vargas unless they exist in the Rashi, and those are mainly for Lajittaadi avasthas etc. Stick to Rashi Aspects for atmakaraka.
Ryan, what do the classical texts say about Mercury as atmakaraka? I have my Mercury in Virgo as my atmakaraka (which is also vargottama; unaspected and without any conjunctions in the 2nd house in both D1 and D9).
+Animesh Roy (Bob) Those principles are for two different things. Although it will give more consistency between the vargas in question dealing with Saturn.
Thanks for honouring Mars...he s not a mere Soldier: Never a mercenary, unless he s cheated..which happens..lol..he s also naive..too young to see th whole..but He fights for justice.. is courageous and rebels when ther s none.

+Ryan Harrison Middle of Mula Galactic Center. Google that to find articles on why this is. You have to understand the rational behind it.

And what if the difference between 2 grahas is less than 1 minute ? Would you consider seconds or suggest something else ?
