I only read negative comments about Pluto in Capricorn since 2008. Yes, it was a rough period, but it was our choice to come back from the underworld with treasures or empty-handed. This period was so liberating for me because I found so many gems from my worst experiences. It built my character and gave me purpose.
Without the darkness what appreciation would we have for the light? It was challenging for me as well, but I have grown by leaps and bounds and I have become a better person. I have so much gratitude for the darkness. I may dread it when it comes again, but without the uphill battles it would be boring.

As a Capricorn sun, I left a 20 yr job 5 yrs ago. The money was great the environment was toxic. For 5 yrs I have taken care of elderly and ill family members. I am richer now for having the experience of spending time with these loved ones. Some of them have passed on which was difficult. My help and love was not enough but understanding that my role was just to love them and be there for them. My job for the last 5 yrs is giving me the understanding that I am enough - I am worthy. Yep, we took care of 4 elderly, our parents all at the same time. All passed on and a sibling last year on last Pluto RX. It’s been the saddest of times. And all that combined with so much more was horrible.

Honestly, I think Pluto in Capricorn has been a difficult period in time for so many signs, even those who weren't supposed to be as impacted by it, but for some it was probably just a timing thing where other difficult transits were occurring simultaneously. I say this as a Taurus with Uranus transiting my sun sign since 2018-2019 and going through a Saturn return. I don't even know what other aspects have impacted my life, but our lives are also touched by those close to us who are experiencing hardships, so we all have the potential to feel a hard aspect in one way or another. I had Jupiter in my sign during all of this and kept hearing how much of a blessing it was supposed to be on my life. I'm not saying it wasn't, but whatever blessings it brought may have just been buffers, which isn't bad or anything, but it just lends more of a sameness to the dailyness of life rather than the sense of being showered with all good things that some people promote when they talk about Jupiter transiting your sign. Maybe somewhere down the road you recognize the gifts more clearly. 🤷♀️

It's been so hard to see two of my children and a grandchild going trough all the hardships in their lifes. My son cap sun ended the second long relationship since 2008. My girl a sag she was missundestood by the entire family but myself, my grandson was born with Pluto (cap sun) and had it rough all his puberty. I'm a Sag, I was amazed when he mention "from 2009 until now, you may have felt your fiery energy diminished or as though you weren’t truly understood. " I was diagnosed with Depression and Axiety during that time and until now it was more of darkness in my life than brighter side. But I am trying to survive. I really hope that my life would be more brighter soon.

The story of Uranus and Gaia reminds me of a Māori folktale I was taught as a child: Rangi (the sky god) and Papa (the Earth) were lovers who always pressed against each other. They had many sons, one of whom was Māui. The brothers were squashed between their parents, and rebelled by lying on their backs on Papa and using their legs and feet to push against Rangi to separate them. Rangi was pushed up and away from Papa. To this day, the rain falling from the sky is Rangi's tears, earthquakes are Papa straining to reach her husband, and fog and mist are Papa's sighs.

I love that story too - tho it wasn’t the Demi-god/trickster hero Maui who separated Papatuanuku and Ranginui, it was their son Tane, God of the forests, who pushed his parents apart far enough to create space for creation to move and thrive. I draw much strength from the image of the tree, deeply rooted in the nourishing earth while stretching towards the light, bridging heaven and earth. 💚 It was also Tane who created humans - he made the first woman out of clay, Hine Ahu One, and through her, he seeded the people. Taurus sun with Scorpio rising here. Pluto in Capricorn was the most difficult time of my life. A lot of difficulties, hostility, dangers, sorrow and loneliness. Thank you so much for this extensive video on this astrological event. I'm a 23 year old Aquarius Sun, Capricorn Moon Sag rising, and I've pretty much always felt misunderstood. I had a hard time speaking up in general, and I found coping mechanisms and ways to conform my thoughts to the public so that I wouldn't stand out. Only in this recent year have I been starting to understand how this affected my inner being, my "Seed-Self", and I saw the beauty of being myself and stepping into the power of authenticity and uniqueness, and on top of that to hear about the duality of an Aquarius with the two ruling planets Uranus and Saturn is a relief that I cannot describe. This video has granted me a level of Peace, that otherwise I would have needed a long time for to reach. My years-long interest in Ancient technology and mysteries on how some of these structures were built, but solely for the purpose of introducing these ways of being into a modern society so we can harmoniously coexist, was pretty much explained by you Word. I love this, makes complete sense. As an Aquarian sun in 8th house, with Capricorn moon and venus in the 7th house and Cancer rising sign. I Recognise the whole 'Pluto in Capricorn' thing affected me greatly since 2009 and Actually does feel like time lost in the astral, the netherworld or the underworld. "Transformation through Ordeal"....yeah that and no money either. Finally came to see that the biggest feeling I'm left with, after all that, is disappointment.... as the team (family) group I thought I was doing my part for, was happy letting me give up my Aquarian life to be 'transformed by ordeal' all by myself. So now, I am midwiving my rebirth, with Pluto in Aquarius, and I can begin to feel comfortable with it and begin to make a world for myself. Jettison is a good word here.
So interesting! My son is a Capricorn and was born in 2013. So, he was born into some heavy energy! It makes a lot of sense. He has always been an old soul energy and he developed severe OCD at the age of 6. He is now 11 and has had to deal with very adult feelings and thoughts for a kid. He has been in therapy for five years diving very deep into his own thoughts, feelings and beliefs. I am praying that this next shift brings him relief and joy and a lightness that he has never been able to enjoy for long.

Four-More-Days. Had enough-So Long Pluto! You did have the preferred work setting of Capricorns spot on. I listened to cap twice and rising sag. This sharing and caring happened while Pluto was in my sign. I cared too much and a 50+ year truth came out from the narcissistic people I helped and it cost me a lot. You can’t reverse what was done and now I live with what I have left and unable to work to get it back.

Powerful and hopeful in respect to self evolution within the collective. It felt like completely loosing the sight of myself being submerged in motherhood while processing my darkest years of childhood and constantly asking myself who am I meant to be to the point of obsession. Now, with Pluto on my natal Sun and nearly a year of studying astrology, I literally feel like I am being slowly lifted up and out of the darkest place and into the new, unknown where the darkness is tolerable and where I know who I am meant to be. As an Aquarius sun I’ve been half dread and half hope about Pluto coming in. Your explanation feels correct and comforting. It has to get better, cuz we’ve already been through the wringer.
I only read negative comments about Pluto in Capricorn since 2008.
Yes, it was a rough period, but it was our choice to come back from the underworld with treasures or empty-handed. This period was so liberating for me because I found so many gems from my worst experiences. It built my character and gave me purpose.

As a Capricorn sun, I left a 20 yr job 5 yrs ago. The money was great the environment was toxic. For 5 yrs I have taken care of elderly and ill family members. I am richer now for having the experience of spending time with these loved ones. Some of them have passed on which was difficult. My help and love was not enough but understanding that my role was just to love them and be there for them. My job for the last 5 yrs is giving me the understanding that I am enough - I am worthy. Thank you Christopher.
Wow, I'm also a Cap Sun and the last 4 years were really tough for me because I also had to take care of my elderly grandmother (who passed away in 2023) and now my chronically ill father which is also very hard for the whole family. Yep, we took care of 4 elderly, our parents all at the same time. All passed on and a sibling last year on last Pluto RX. It’s been the saddest of times. And all that combined with so much more was horrible.

Honestly, I think Pluto in Capricorn has been a difficult period in time for so many signs, even those who weren't supposed to be as impacted by it, but for some it was probably just a timing thing where other difficult transits were occurring simultaneously. I say this as a Taurus with Uranus transiting my sun sign since 2018-2019 and going through a Saturn return. I don't even know what other aspects have impacted my life, but our lives are also touched by those close to us who are experiencing hardships, so we all have the potential to feel a hard aspect in one way or another. I had Jupiter in my sign during all of this and kept hearing how much of a blessing it was supposed to be on my life. I'm not saying it wasn't, but whatever blessings it brought may have just been buffers, which isn't bad or anything, but it just lends more of a sameness to the dailyness of life rather than the sense of being showered with all good things that some people promote when they talk about Jupiter transiting your sign. Maybe somewhere down the road you recognize the gifts more clearly. 🤷♀️

I'm a Sag, I was amazed when he mention "from 2009 until now, you may have felt your fiery energy diminished or as though you weren’t truly understood. " I was diagnosed with Depression and Axiety during that time and until now it was more of darkness in my life than brighter side. But I am trying to survive. I really hope that my life would be more brighter soon.

The story of Uranus and Gaia reminds me of a Māori folktale I was taught as a child: Rangi (the sky god) and Papa (the Earth) were lovers who always pressed against each other. They had many sons, one of whom was Māui. The brothers were squashed between their parents, and rebelled by lying on their backs on Papa and using their legs and feet to push against Rangi to separate them. Rangi was pushed up and away from Papa. To this day, the rain falling from the sky is Rangi's tears, earthquakes are Papa straining to reach her husband, and fog and mist are Papa's sighs.

Yes! I love that story too - tho it wasn’t the Demi-god/trickster hero Maui who separated Papatuanuku and Ranginui, it was their son Tane, God of the forests, who pushed his parents apart far enough to create space for creation to move and thrive.
I draw much strength from the image of the tree, deeply rooted in the nourishing earth while stretching towards the light, bridging heaven and earth. 💚
It was also Tane who created humans - he made the first woman out of clay, Hine Ahu One, and through her, he seeded the people.
Maui was the one who fished up the North Island of Aotearoa NZ, and tricked fire from the fire goddess, and slowed the sun…

I remember the gorgeous, colourful illustrations of all the brothers lying on their back with their legs up in the air, pushing Rangi up and away.

Taurus sun with Scorpio rising here. Pluto in Capricorn was the most difficult time of my life. A lot of difficulties, hostility, dangers, sorrow and loneliness. I felt like some kind of dark shadow was leaning above me and following me all the time. I could feel that bad energy surrounding me. Hopefully Pluto in Aquarius will be more merciful.

Thank you so much for this extensive video on this astrological event. I'm a 23 year old Aquarius Sun, Capricorn Moon Sag rising, and I've pretty much always felt misunderstood. I had a hard time speaking up in general, and I found coping mechanisms and ways to conform my thoughts to the public so that I wouldn't stand out. Only in this recent year have I been starting to understand how this affected my inner being, my "Seed-Self", and I saw the beauty of being myself and stepping into the power of authenticity and uniqueness, and on top of that to hear about the duality of an Aquarius with the two ruling planets Uranus and Saturn is a relief that I cannot describe.
This video has granted me a level of Peace, that otherwise I would have needed a long time for to reach. My years-long interest in Ancient technology and mysteries on how some of these structures were built, but solely for the purpose of introducing these ways of being into a modern society so we can harmoniously coexist, was pretty much explained by you Word. For. Word. I'm quite literally lost for words. I didn't know there are others like me that feel this way.

I love this, makes complete sense. As an Aquarian sun in 8th house, with Capricorn moon and venus in the 7th house and Cancer rising sign. I Recognise the whole 'Pluto in Capricorn' thing affected me greatly since 2009 and Actually does feel like time lost in the astral, the netherworld or the underworld. "Transformation through Ordeal"....yeah that and no money either. Finally came to see that the biggest feeling I'm left with, after all that, is disappointment.... as the team (family) group I thought I was doing my part for, was happy letting me give up my Aquarian life to be 'transformed by ordeal' all by myself. So now, I am midwiving my rebirth, with Pluto in Aquarius, and I can begin to feel comfortable with it and begin to make a world for myself. Jettison is a good word here.

So interesting! My son is a Capricorn and was born in 2013. So, he was born into some heavy energy! It makes a lot of sense. He has always been an old soul energy and he developed severe OCD at the age of 6. He is now 11 and has had to deal with very adult feelings and thoughts for a kid. He has been in therapy for five years diving very deep into his own thoughts, feelings and beliefs. I am praying that this next shift brings him relief and joy and a lightness that he has never been able to enjoy for long.
The book CPTSD by Peter walker will help him. OCD is a flight response to trauma.

I listened to cap twice and rising sag. This sharing and caring happened while Pluto was in my sign. I cared too much and a 50+ year truth came out from the narcissistic people I helped and it cost me a lot. You can’t reverse what was done and now I live with what I have left and unable to work to get it back.

You sound like you're exactly where you need to be @JamesDean-O for your Saturn return which is also taking place. Saturn returns take place once every 28-30 years. The first Saturn return asks: What will I be when I grow up? and the second Saturn return asks now that I've grown up, who am I? It's very profound and creative time. 😊
@ thank you for replying! I love you bringing up Saturn. Saturn was that 4° of Pisces when I was born so I have been in very near Saturn return for I think a couple of years now. Also Just came out of Jupiter return at 16° Taurus which was conjunct Uranus at the time.

Powerful and hopeful in respect to self evolution within the collective. It felt like completely loosing the sight of myself being submerged in motherhood while processing my darkest years of childhood and constantly asking myself who am I meant to be to the point of obsession. Now, with Pluto on my natal Sun and nearly a year of studying astrology, I literally feel like I am being slowly lifted up and out of the darkest place and into the new, unknown where the darkness is tolerable and where I know who I am meant to be. That part is clear and the understanding and compassion for my own childhood and the people in it is born. Thank you, Christopher, for your genius in interpreting the planetary relationships.

As a cap, I lately lost my job, got sick, depression, lost family members through those years, changed mentally, spiritually and physically. I have debt 😅 No enrichment 😂 But I want to be aligned to a beautiful juicy job and set free from this condition… Got my Venus & moon in Aquarius… Aries rising… let’s hope for the better. It’s been hard since 2005 for me. I gave lots of love to clients, people… I’m done… because I also attracted jealousy, betrayals… uff. I’m disgusted rather.
