And karmic debts before success would be related to Mars... for example delays in success until dealing with capacity to use logic, learning intincts, not fighting every battle, taking initiative when appropriate.
In the end you said "Ruler of the 2nd house Taurus is Mars..." were you mistaken in saying it. I thought ruler of the second house Taurus is Venus. Is there any mistake in my understanding. Please do clarify. Just to let you know, Iam talking in contest of a southern Indian chart. I have just started to learn astrology.

The most astrologers calculate the houses from the Rasi chart, but this may not be good in all cases because the planets in the Bhava chalit are often located differently than in the Rasi, and I have learned that the houses should not be calculated from the Rasi because it will be faulty result. Do you also look at houses from Rasi when you make a horoscope for someone ??

What if 10th house is in Pisces, and Neptune (ruler of Pisces) sits in 6th? (Jupiter is somewhere else, but shouldn't old ruler also be considered?) How do we deal with Neptune, Pluto and Uranus?

Hi Ryan if Mars is in Cancer (in which it is debilitated) in tenth house(in which it is exalted) how does that work? Wouldn't that be an a debilitated planet. in an exalted house? Mine's not in tenth house , but it's in cancer (using the tropical zodiac)
Amir Kareem Dear Amir: in Vedic Astrology Mars is not exalted in the 10th house. It does have strength there though. To understand the full effects of exaltation and debillitation you have to consider a few things, because a DB planet might have strength from other areas. Mars is a good one to consider, because he only has one enemy, so unless he is getting hurt by Mercury, it's very likely he is still getting support from his friends. Mars is debilitated in Cancer and the 12th yet Jupter is exalted. They are friendly planets with each other. How would you interpret this crazy combination? Mars is 21 degrees and Jupiter is 5.

i entered saturn dasha aged 33, i had a big change at this age, he's in my 3rd house and i feel like i keep evolving and discovering more, , i think saturn is good for me, jupiter dasha was pretty bad though

I've been going to Darshan of Mother Meera for years now and being there is absolutely beyond words... it seems that everything is flowing out of her in a very unforced and natural way... it's so puzzling... my feeling for right inner action is always heavily stimulated there it seems... levivelivel Not sure I understand your question. Realization is beyond the concepts of charts. There can be pointers, but ultimately it is up to a greater intelligence to allow that. Some great teachers may simply have good combinations to speak well and tap into higher concsciousness...see 8th or 12th houses for that. Some may just have combinations for popularity, or a chart that shows great capacity to influence others energetically. True realization cannot be determined through a chart, no matter how hard we try.
