Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig, and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
We’ve pulled inspiration from several of our favorite travel vloggers on RUclips, such as: +Casey Neistat +FunForLouis +Jon Olsson +Mr Ben Brown, and any other talented travel vloggers that RUclips’s algorithm will hopefully connect us with ;)
You guys made my heart smile thank you for visiting my island of Barbados
best country
No island man in his right mind would call a woman "salt dumpling". It's usually sugar dumpling.
You are right, this is the best way to explore a place and culture.. I remember the first food tour you guys ever did and vlogged about ;)
My grandparents (deceased for over 20 years) used to own a home in Barbados. I think I visited 4 or 5 times from four years old to 14 (1974). They had a housekeeper who used to cook your last dish! I still remember it, and you brought me back to that time. Yummy!!!!!
I really admire how adventurous you are with food, lol.
You guys are naturals. So open minded. Thank you for sharing.
I'm near tears, I left barbados last year January to be with my husband and we can't wait to get back to barbados
If wanna ain't went Chefette wanna ain't visit Barbados yet
So agree
so true
I was saying
yah man tour guide gone mad
Cheffette? please...all the oil and salt they use...that's what someone would consider good food? much less heritage food? please
I could be having the worst day but these vlogs and Yalls energy just lift me! Thank y’all so much! ❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos. Great energy and chemistry between the two to u
Excellent video guys! an adventure!
love it keep it going!!
Love your videos. Wish you more subscribers in the new year.
Sugar in dumplings is a necessity
No island man in his right mind would call a woman "salt dumpling". It's usually sugar dumpling.
@@love4lust7301 true that

Thanks! Great video! Now I have some ideas of what I will eat when I get there!
Glad you got to enjoy some of our wonderful food....my fave of all cou cou and flying fish...yum yum
You guys are such a beautiful couple much love from NYC happy new year!!
Very nice. Even the music was great. Thank you.
1:45 It’s playing sign of the times by harry styles in the background!
I was looking for this comment ahahah!
Good video. I really like the food tours. :)
Great vlogg... again!!! You're the best! Although I am really looking forward to your next trips next year it would be really nice to see how you spent the holiday i US. I guess that would be especially interesting for all us non-US viewers. Happy new year! Take care.
Beautiful video
Love food tours! I try to do them wherever I travel to.
Playing "Sign Of The Times" in a local Barbados restaurant. Totally casual haha, love your videos so much! Inspired me to record my trip to Japan and China in summer! xx
Can’t wait to see where you head in the New Year.
So cool that Claudette is a historian! Fun to learn the history plus eat the delicious food. I always wonder... what do the other people on the tour feel about you vlogging... or do they ask about your channel? I was especially curious this time since it was a small group! Awesome editing!
She was great! We usually tell the group what we are doing at the beginning of the tour and make sure everyone is comfortable on camera, pretty much 100% of the time they are fine with it. And by the end they all have our channel written down to watch the video :)
That’s so cool! 👍
Love you guys、Just discovered your channel ❤️🍴
My favorite island in the Caribbean. The people are so friendly!
I truly love and respect barbados food..really yummy..greatful and thankful for chef who made these beautiful food
I live in barbados
It is nice to hear from you again...it seems your vlogs are few and far between now...take care and stay safe.
We will be in Barbados tomorrow!
The pig tail looked amazing. I need to try that.
YES! Food tours are my favorite! Such a Kara and Nate staple! Almost as much as the drone footage and experiencing each country like the locals. Those fish cakes looked delicious... Now I'm craving some fried fish... haha
I live for your food tours!
You're intuition was spot on 👌🏾
We drink sorrel during Christmas time and it's delicious 😍
I love that of all the food, none of it was what you expected for the Caribbean. Could you guys do a video about sponsorships for developing travel vloggers?
YES!!! ANOTHER VIDEO!
I have a question to Kara, what are the hair products you use??because your hair is always so beautiful hahah. I love watching your vlogs, makes me want to just go to the airport and get a random flight to somewhere...Much love from Brazil💛
im actually from barbados born here the food here is SO GOOD!!
Ahhh im salivating!
Great video.
hi the most kindest travel coupl in the world happy new year
love from morocco we miss you
From the beginning till now both Kara and Nate got a tan more father into the videos you go 😆
Bajan are not the only people that put sugar in their dumplings, they arent the only one that have chicken pumpkin soup, BBQ pigstail or sorrel lol. Alot of that is customary for many Caribbean islands, like Jamaica where I am from.
*Everything look so good!*
But the island is bad
@@LenardoGaming-ik8uc not at all been there 4 times loved the beach
My family is from Barbados, went for 2 weeks a while ago and I'm realizing how much I missed it on 😭
Sorrel is so good..much better with a lot of ice..😍very abundant in carribean islands only.
On the food tour could you guy share a little more of the history part too? Or sum it all up at the end in detail. The food stuff is always cool but you guys mention you learn a lot about the history of countries. It would be cool to hear about some of it
You guys should have went to the cinema it's so cool and awesome 100% 😍💖
How long was that walking tour would you estimate? Did you walk for miles? Looks like an incredible way to tour and learn about an area.
Krisword it's not that much of a walk about half a mile in total. Bridgetown isn't that big
Live the way ya'll immerse yourselves in the culture!!! The only way to get the true taste of a country!!! Way to be flexible!!!
YASSS YALL WENT TO BARBADOS AHHHHH OMG YASSS 😂🥴
place to eat Fishermans bar Spieghts town or Sandras seaside bar Bathsheba also you will be surprised at the difference in price on the east coast where Bathsheba is located.
love your vlogs subbed
Sorom is called Sobolo in Ghana and Bissap in many french african countries it is the BesT!
I just lov u guys. Your positive, great energy. Seem like just really good people. And I love your videos.... (here it comes) BUT... Happy New year look forward to more vlogs in 2018 hope you have a great time 😊
Happy New Year! :)
Anybody else see the sign that said "No posting of signs"? (3:45)
Stuart of Blyth have you seen the sign around that time: “ we unlock phones”😂
To think of the goodness and importance of harmony and soul, there are many words that spring to mind: Truth, conscious, dignity, accepting, solving, humanity, life, freedom, faith, progress, understanding, unconditional love. The love of good food reveals good people. From Barbados with love.......
Hey guys I really love your videos, but how you manage not to get sick?
Nice video. Can't wait to visit again.. 2023 😫
I love love love the food tours. 99% of the time ya'll seem to love the food...is it always that good or are you being polite?
HeckNoGMOs I thought the exact same thing. I am thinking that You have to be polite as to not offend anyone's food or culture. There was one video where they were in Australia and they tried vegemite and they did not like it. They were raked over the coals for that one. People were so offended. It is best to try and find something positive to say. Or just nod and smile. 👍
Many people take their national pride from their food. Like in Italy food pride is more about patriotism than anthem and a flag.
Thankfully majority of the foods we try on the vlog are really just that good. A little inside information... If we don't like it, we just omit our reaction or the whole scene altogether! Because we feel like if we are eating somewhere, you may take it as a recommendation. Instead of saying something negative, we just leave it out. So that might be why we always like what we eat :)
HeckNoGMOs hey i see you around truth channels (:
5:00 wait I recognize out there because my old school was just a couple blocks ago
Nice
it is the tail of the pig you just didnt get that end
That's correct. It's most definitely the pig's tail! Like you, I'm Bajan, and should know.
It might have been pig doggie they were eating...All of the pig tail I have eaten is a pigs tail...lol
@@cocobrowns really
When are you coming to Colombia?!

@@karraprice4745 Why is it against the law?
Would love to see the inside of the abnb.
Enjoyed Bridgeton like driving on the opposite side of American driving
Corn beef cakes are not a main dish.......sorrel is made from fried hibiscus buds.......but you guys did great.....gotta get jam puffs and turn overs and meat rolls next time!!
Coucou is like polenta with okra instead of cheese
is all the food free once u buy the ticket? or do you have to buy the food at each stop?
Great blog as always. Seems like the old guy in back at 6:35 is having a somewhat different food tour though :):) Have you guys been to The Cayman Islands yet? If not, GO!

@@Naturalway1347 Why did you feel the need to reply then? On a year old comment?
Come and explore Indonesia please..!!
How did you find Claudette for your food tour??
Happy you guys visited Barbados. #246
Home sweet home🇧🇧
May I ask how delayed the videos are to current day? Just curious! :)
Only a couple more until they are caught up! We were here in November then flew home from Barbados. We haven't filmed since we've been home so when we take off again it will be in real time :)
There are no private beaches in Barbados
Kiki p I was saying the same thing
Kiki p, they meant where they were staying. Their AirBnB was at the beach. They had their own 'private' beach. :-)
Jen Mar people might take that literally, even I was unsure for a minute and I'm a local lol, a lot of international establishments do try to make beaches private though, unfortunately
Kiki p, I understand. In Curacao you have these international establishment that have private beaches. It's amazing that by y'all beaches are still open to everyone.
Kiki p true
I live in barbados
Saaaaaammmee
I live in Barbados
Nate is a sugar cake not a cookie i hope you enjoy it thank you for visiting barbados
This looks delicious!!! Love the food tours! Question for y'all! How do you go about making sure you don't get sick eating so many foods in other countries when you travel??
HARRY STYLES MUSIC YES!!! I love him 1:38
Hey nice video, but you forgot the '' PUDDING AND SOUSE''
Come Jamaica
