Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this RUclips channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
For a moment, I want to thank Kavita who, in a way, represented our country and guided both of you.
I wonder she doesn't have any work or what?? 😂😂
I appreciate bro
@@sukratishrivastava5933 why are you jealous?
@@parthyadav4835 i am not. What makes you think i am jealous? Do you even know wht jealousy means? 😂
@@sukratishrivastava5933 could have been a weekend!
Hey Kara and Nate, you guys are awesome!! It was the most amazing experience taking you around Mumbai and seeing you enjoying all the street food. A day I will never forget in my life!! Thanks so much for accepting it :) :). "Angel" was too generous of you. Love you guys. Wish can take you on another street food tour or meet you again someday!! Till then, I will miss you, friends!!
KAVITA💜 Thanks for making this delicious video possible! You are so kind! I was hungry editing it😍 Much Love!!!
It was my pleasure! My mouth was watering watching it :) :)
Great Job Kavita. All the places you brought them to looked amazing and delicious. You were a wonderful food tour guide.
Thanks so much. This was my first experience, glad you liked it. I'm so overwhelmed reading all the comments.
Kavita Choudhary Great Job sis, you can really have your own Mumbai street food vlog channel. 👍
Watching Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriends travels are amazing! lol Just landed on your channel this past week guys, really fun stuff! I also thought it was awesome how transparent you are on your site about your earnings/expenses. Extremely detailed breakdown for sure. Awesome!
Haha I thought I was the only one who thinks he looks like Cristiano Ronaldo
lmao .. same
more like matthew mcconaughey and mrs.
Cristiano Ronald reduce his muscles
Lol I was thinking the same 😂
Kavita won the internet! Great job girl! You rock!
Extra applause for Kavita's choices and price care. A local support on such travels is priceless.
Added I am pleased to see you both back up and looking good. Hugs to you both!
Kavita is awesome!!! Love seeing the locals appear on the channel.
Kavita is hands down my favorite local guide so far! no frills to the point kinda gal!
I think Kavita should be a pro food guide. That food looks amazing! I would never have gone to those places!
Maybe one day!! I had wild dreams during my Engineering college days to start a food tour, but then went on to start a Travel company and now launched my Travel Blog. Because of Kara and Nate, I got to live it for one day. Except for few faults of mine (Hajmola), I was overwhelmed to read such positive feedback. Thanks for the kind words, means a lot.
Kavita Choudhary I actually am watching this video because I will be in Mumbai in April! I am very nervous to come, and wish I had a great local to show me around! You are one awesome person for helping these guys out:-) thank you for helping them show us all that amazing food!
@@4holidaymaniacs You were fantastic! I would be too nervous :) Thanks for taking them around and through them, all of us on the channel. Good luck with your Travel Blog!!!
@@gold119 Thanks so much.
Great good guide!
Kavita how lovely of you! The food looked amazing!!!
I would love to go India! How sweet that Kavita brought you a home cooked meal! Everything looked so delicious! You two are living the dream! ♥🙌
Smile with Mel Yes very nice of her. That was Ondhvo. Gujarati dish. Very tasty. Made in oven
Smile with Mel
Anytime...We welcome our guest with an open hearts..
Amarjeet Kumar that's beautiful! :) I will definitely visit India one day!
Smile with Mel
Sure....👍👍😍
I 100% Agree. Living the Dream ☺😌
How nice of Kavita to take you guys around, and all that food looked *amazing* ... I'm so hungry now, haha!
Mumbai looks amazing from the food to the kind people! Sending y’all hugs from Texas!
This looks SO GOOD GUYS!! hahah I'm missing the India food already!
I was so hungry editing this one!!! Haha
Hey Nadine I pay 5 times to eat Indian food in Beijing 😒😒...
@@KaraandNate you'll love food from the Indian sub continent
Kavita was seriously the best....so nice of her to be your food guide😀
How fantastic to have a local show you the best spots! That looked soo much fun and totally tasty! I think I could easily go veggie if I was in India! 🙏💛
Mark Evans Yeah and u will hardly miss meat.
So much fun. It's always lovely to see you meeting up with locals! India looks amazing.
Sounds wonderful. Hopefully we can make it happen on day. We both have worked in customer service at home and it can be very rewarding. Have a great day!
Mumbai looks like such a chill place compared to the other cities. And s/o to Kavita for being such an awesome host :)
It depends on which area of mumbai one is in
Everything looks so good! Kavita is so sweet!
ISN'T SHE?!💞
She is ❤️.
Camera shy...😋😉
She is so lovely! I’d love to have a local guide who knows it all like her!
Kavita was a delight. How nice of her to show you around. ❤
She got plugged in, man. She must have been getting traffic from here.
*+freako scientist* assuming? some people have a life and bot living a millennial's life
That's the best kind of 'tour guide' right there. A local. She was fantastic! I'm not sure about that candy though :P - Trevor
But I eat it like a candy and love it!!
Kavita Choudhary me too most indians loves that imli flavor that they were eating
It's like vegemite.. an acquired taste
Hajmola is meant to be sour
Actually the flavour that they had is called imli which is the hindi word for Tamarind. The tamarind chutney that they liked in dahi puri is made from the same imli
Thank you for bringing this part of the world to us all!
Hope ya'll are enjoying your time in Bali! Your insta stories are super nostalgic of your first vlogs in SE Asia 💗
Thanks Kavita😀😀
I love it when you meet followers but this has been my fave meet vid. Everything looked so amazing!
The hajmola tasting part of the video was just pure GOLD!!!!
Kavita was SO sweet to take you on the food tour! 💗💗
Also can I add I’m so proud of you guys for finally getting the recognition you deserve!
kavita you are awesome. thanx for helping them :)
The sign something is delicious is in Kara's eyes after the first bite and in Nate's lips/mouth movements when he is eating.
Love from Maryland!! ❤️️🦀 My favorite traveling couple! Your personalities come across so well on camera. You seem like such down-to-earth and genuinely nice people. Sending giant hugs! Wishing you continued growth and success!! Your videos are such a bright spot in my day, any many others! Safe travels!
Kara, I've not mentioned this yet--I never get tired of your "yummy" face with the big eyes, even though I've seen it seemingly hundreds of times.
after eating vada-pav there was no yummy face :P
meaning vada-pav wasn't as tasty
that's how you know
Yay for Kavita (and being so sweet to bring you homemade food)!! So wonderful to meet another local person who plays tour guide for you!
Nate, to Kara: "You seem a bit over dramatic... it doesn't smell that bad"
Nate: (Tasting the digestion tablet) "Aww, gosh..."
Kara: "Uhh Huhh."
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
well at first it wasn't that bad smell wise, but once you eat it then ya i can see why he's grossed out by it
I know what their feeling. When me and my cousin were younger she would force me to try It and I absolutely hated It. It tasted disgusting to me
This is the moment when I told you so is ok to use.
My mom loves it but i hate it....i kinda think it tastes like fart!
It's a acquired taste . First time I have umiboshi I was like omg...tastes so sour and stuff...but now I like it . It grows on you lol
So good seeing this video guys! That dosa from that stand is great isn't it! 😋 We're totally trying Hajmola tomorrow! 😀
Thanks for the tips! We totally need them 😂👍🏼😋
they not tasty( to foreigner) but purpose of hajmola is digest food . It has traditional Ayurvedic herbs .
but i love it
We can't wait to go to India! They're supposed to have a ton of vegan options :) Love how you guys are fearless and will eat just about anything!
Vegan Voyagers I am from Mumbai and we do have loads of vegan or vegetarian options
Vegan Voyagers, you will have unlimited amount of veg food all over India. India is paradise when it comes to Veg food.
that thumbnail is so fake. u dont get such beautiful foof in india. its a shothole. fyi im an indian. fml
Nah.. too many vloggers already done the up and downs of indian foods in india all over in India... There are many options to experience better and more sanitize indian foods all over the world especially in UK and US. Tell you the truth, the more i seen these logs, the more i said to myself, i can skip "foods and waters" in india. Eating foods cooked in dark dark oil will do so much harm to your health. No level of vegan eating will help you recovered. It would more interesting to have vlogger to visit little india all over the world tell you the truth.
Retaliation First well india like a mix a of first world and third world places, some cities as good as first world countries example Chandigarh, Noida, whole South Delhi
Kara you are such a beautiful, loving person. I enjoy watching you interact with people.
Mumbaikars like Kavita are coolest ..she gave her whole day ..I don't know why whenever I saw her in the video I felt proud 😊
So sweet of Kavita! Nice tour
I am so glad that a local took you around. Those are the best videos.
Thanks Kavita for showing them around, kind of you!! We need more people like you.
What a sweet and beautiful tour guide! Great dishes and they made
Me so hungry all while climbing the stairs at my gym lol! What were the ones called that were rolled up and cheese and veggie filled??? Looked amazing. What was your #1 pick out of all you tried?
Jennie W That's a dosa!
Barnali D perfect! Thank you!
Jennie W that's dosa which comes in several varieties....the one which u r asking is jini dosa....
Westernised Dosa
in it's basic form very light and hygienic a it is just fermented rice and lentil batter/liquid
not fermented as in liquor but left overnight or 12-15 hours
the accompaniments can be from a simple potato and onions bhaji (dry or soft preparation) to all those things laden to make it a pizza
the standard side dish or accompaniments chatni (semi liquid, tangy coconut thing. like one eats tomato sauce) AND the super healthy and yummy: Sambhar en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sambar_(dish)
when living alone as a bachelor in Bombay.. 90% of the time when i got under the weather or mild flu, i relied on consuming fresh, hygienically made soups or sambhar. one clean dosa place i often visited would in-fact be cool with me having/ requesting 3-4 serving of hot sambhar without even ordering dosa at times!
That's a Dosa, though not a traditional one.. more like a westernized, innovative creative spin on it
when kara's eyes open up, you know it is good
Ahh Mumbai -- the city and the street food is my favorite in India! I totally recognized the Vada Pav place haha, I go there often when I'm in Mumbai. Glad to see you guys had a good time :)
That really shows she knew what she was talking about since you are a pro!!! 😁
Bhai, where is that place?anywhere near Dadar?
Devansh Das it's in Vile Parle near station, Dada Bhai Road
Kavita you were the best part of the trip!!!
Crazy good!
You were so lucky to have a local show you around!
Early squad! I'm loving the Indian vlogs! Keep up the good work!
Cheers from Brazil!
💜
I wish to visit Brazil someday, infact the whole of Latin America , it looks amazing , love from India
Rafa Franciscon I always support brazil in football💖
Kavita..is so cool 😊
She definitely is!💞
That was so kind and nice of that local food he can help you out and show you what foods were the best awesome
Kavita picked some great places! She should start a business.
I’m so glad you both are feeling better! Mumbai definitely looks like it has a different vibe than the other cities.
Omg that food looks amazing! I love india! I am so excited for the Bali vlogs!! Love u guys
I know right!! Looking forward to them too!!
Definitely can't wait for the Bali vlogs! It looks like they're having a blast
Just as good if not better than the Buzzfeed worth it episodes! These videos are great!
I think they are hands down 1,000 times better than Buzzfeed Worth It. No pretentiousness. Just two honestly amazing people, sharing their love of travel & food with us. ❤
Kara: I love coffee
Everyone else: We know 😂☕️
I have started watching your vlogs just a few days ago and i am addicted/obsessed!!!
Did you guys win a shorty award? You sure deserve one! All your video's are top notch and I'm living for the India Vlogs . Love to you both from palm Spring's California 🌴🌝❤❤❤

Enjoyed her taking you guys around and loved that you’d guys captured the beach and seeing all those ppl was so enlightening!!!!
The editing in this video is UNREAL! :)
Welcome to Mumbai
Hahah the hajmolas have pretty weird taste but it is good for digestion.
that is a myth. only two three main ingredients are appetizer.
then again i dunno about the confectionery type
i speak of the tablet kind. back in 1991-92 we'd often take visiting relatives to the manufacturing unit (near Alwar)
as a kid, i was psyched out that they used 'talc'.
later i became aware that 'talc' (as in talcum powder) is a standard 'binding agent'.
but now i practically do not visit food making units. soon after Kwality group got the contract manufacturing rights for Baskin Robbins.. we visited those facilities too in Poona district. wasn't the most pleasant experience.
stuff being scattered and stored in rather deplorable conditions.
Sugar making mills though are the most nasty in a way.. so far as sights and smelts go.. and my near relative has been witness to a poor snake resting in the cane laden truck being crushed along with sugarcane when the hopper suddenly released it in the crushing area. that was in the 80s though.
white sugar anyway is white poison!
Hey #KaraandNate ............Kavita is one cool local I must say... Lucky you found her
The Local Girl was so intelligent she did nt even bother and asked Nate to spit Hajmola out of the window.. Dear Kavita it's our country pls respect and keep the city Clean, learn from Nate and Kara they are using Dustbins whenever they finish a meal or Chai. Thanks Nate and Kara I have been watching all your tours for long.. Truly Amazing
I started watching your channel a few days ago. I live in Mumbai and I can't believe you guys were eating around the places where I go on a daily basis! Hats off to Kavita for showing you guys Mumbai's best food!
Just started watching your vlog a few weeks ago ... and if my opinion means anything ... you are the best vloggers on RUclips. My goal, over the next few weeks, is to watch all your videos.
My recommendation. Start with their trek to Everest base camp. I've watched all of that twice and am about to watch it again! It was challenging, out of their comfort zone, and beautiful!
I watched all their blogs from the beginning when I was sick and boy did it help me to feel better!! I had something to look forward to everyday and they are so inspiring!! 💜💜
Yes, the Everest vlogs were among the first I watched ... now I just started with the first one and am slowly moving forward.
And their Trans Siberian Vlogs!
I have only recently started watching your videos. I have to say, I wait for the next one to be uploaded. Keep up the amazing work.
Thanks!😁
So many videos prior to this show it, but Kara's description of the food made my mouth water! I can't wait to catch up on your vlogs.
I live your food tours. So nice of Kavita to offer the food exploring day for you. Can't wait for more vlogs
Kavita is one cool dude .. nice one! And those dosas... mmmm
Calco you don't call a girl "dude" lmao
I can’t stop watching your videos! They’re so educational and informative. Greetings from California!
She seemed so nice! Love the video!💜
I'm thinking of taking my mum to India next year she always talks about it going to start looking into booking it as a surpirse and plus I've beens showing her your vlogs and she loves them ❤ xx
Becky Harrop wellcome my friend
Hi Becky. If you want to come to India with your mother, then visit Varanasi city.Indias spiritual soul can only be experienced here. Then you can explore rest of the country.
Hi Kara and Nate! Do you know any Indian food joke? 'Coz I know Naan! 😜
Nice
kavita looks so sweet and eager to help. wish there was a kavita in each city in india. God bless you kavita.
Kavita, you did a great job😊 blessings for you and kara and nate (KATE😉) loved your energy , spirit ..u ppl have such a positive vibe keep posting, keep growing and also your 18hour late train went via wrong routerather than taking straight route to agra via Allahabad, kanpur it went via Lucknow, straight route has few trains like shivganga express , fewer trains coz there is mugalsarai around 18km from Varanasi, the place where most of the trains go via straighter route...in all 18hour is still an unexpected experience 😊😋😉the reason that makes traveling a lot more surreal express😊😊😊
Love your videos Kara and Nate. I watch them with my mummy.
India a Foodies Paradise .....
Man! I'm in love with your vlogs! Its such a refreshing change to see something unbiased and so beautifully shot. No vlog ever came close to justifying India as itself. Kudos!
The girl Kavita looks such an amazing sweet person. Im so happy you guys enjoyed Indian street food❤
I think Kara have become the best youtube editor😍
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!
Love all the local fixers/friends you guys link up with. That’s the BEST way to tour.....with a local. Much love from Portland, Oregon!
Watching May 2021 Sending so much support and health to everyone in India. I have been there twice and its an amazing country of incredible people.
This is one of my favourite blogs in India I loved the kindness of Kavita and having the luxury of a car and driver very posh.x
Elizabeth w not very expensive to get a driver in india
It's very common in India. All well to do decent family have this facility.
Had a bad day at work..really tired..reached home..opened you tube..and saw Kara and Nate..1st smile of the day..thank u guys..God bless u both..😊😊😊
Ishan M Awww, sorry you had a bad day. Kara and Nate make everything better, don't they?

+Ishan M Hi, I'm good, hope you are too. As for Kara and Nate, don't worry too much... they're great! They are currently in NYC for the Streamies awards, which is held this weekend. Kara's been posting on her Instagram account with pictures and stories. Do you have an Instagram account?
The Handvo (packed from home) that Kavita got you guys, looks authentic and truly awesome!! That's a lovely gesture!!
I just love your local food experiences! That's what I like to do as a part of my journeys. Thank you for your great videos!
Awesome vlog as always! I have to say I think the food ones are some of my favorites!!
Love hearing that because food vlogs are my fav to MAKE😍 Haha thanks girly!
Mine too. I got attracted to your Vlog by your food vlogs and then just got hooked and watched all the vlogs!!
Oh the food looks amazing!!!!
She looks like my sisters!!! 😉😍
Chai tea is my favorite!!!!
Rachel Whitehead Chai means tea in hindi so you are basically saying tea tea. Its just Chai :)
Merc hey thanks for informing me....I didn't know. I'll say Chai cuz I like that!! 😉
In the US Chai is a type of tea and is differentiated from other types by using Chai as a descriptor that tells us what kind of tea we're talking about. This allows us to distinguish Chai from hundreds of other types of tea available here. Even our local Indian and Thai restaurants list this particular type of tea as Chai tea on their menus.
Dk Adkins....very good way to explain it. Thanks!!!! I knew this but thot it was interesting how they do it in their culture.
Hajmolaaaaaaa omg!!!! Nostalgiaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!
Amazing video guys... Your guide was good. She brought u to good places and made you eat proper Mumbai street food!!
just love how positive they both are
Great Vlog! Kavita should start a biz. By far my favourite so far of India. So glad the two of you are feeling better!
She is a travel agent and has a blog - linked it in the description! She’s awesome!
Your videos make me want to try Indian food so bad 😂😅
You've never tried it? You must!
same!
StephanieVlogs Indian food is just heaven💖💖💖
THE BEST TRAVELLING VLOG CHANNEL is here - Videography ,edits, background music......etc i mean everything is awsome man !!!
This looks so good! You guys 100% deserve the recognition
Loving your stories guys! I spent a few weeks in India last year, and feeling very nostalgic as I watch these and wait somewhat impatiently for the latest one to pop up!
I also enjoyed your Australian videos (I’m an Aussie).
Do you have any plans to visit Bangladesh? That was my first OS travel experience. Truly amazing!
Well done Kavita and team.
She gave you the blue one, better version of Hajmola.. There is a Brown one that much stronger in taste an odor that doesn't have sweetness and I love it..
Best part of the whole vlog, Nate eating pav bhaji and the girl sitting next to him is just staring and smiling when Nate pronounces pav bhaji :p. It was adorable, love you guys :)
Loving this India tour
