It's so fun hearing about other people's Christmas traditions! I love my family's traditions and Christmas time spent with family is so special, especially now that I'm living away from home. This year we're celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday as well a few days before Christmas!

Love to see josh is enjoying making videos with you 😊 so sweet, when talking about the fox hunt, it reminded me when I finally got to meet my husband in person after talking over the phone for months (long story, our moms grew up at church together and he joined the navy, so our dating years were long distance) and when he pulled up to my parents house and got out of his truck, I completely forgot everything I was going to say! I was head over heels 😂

We are definitely through the toddler stage with a high schooler and one in college, but it does go quickly! I just found your channel last week. I have found it so encouraging, seeing the perspective of a young Christian mom in today's day and age. We're not Mennonite, but we are conservative Christians and we just welcomed our first child 3 weeks ago. I love hearing your tips on parenting, cooking, sewing, marriage, married life with young children and your faith. Thank you so much for sharing!

All of my children are grown . I enjoy watching you. I wanted to let you know the best advice you gave in this video was waiting until your child is potty trained before having another! I did the same thing. It helps relieve a lot of work/stress!!!

We're the same with gifts! The grandparents will always out do themselves. We give them a few they really want but trips are our tradition because time is more precious than an item. They can't tell you what they got for Christmas they liked last year or the year before but they ALWAYS remember the trips! It's very special for us, especially as they get older. 8 and 5 now looking forward to New Orleans this coming Christmas!

We had a neat family tradition when our kids were young. We built a fire in the fireplace and all slept in sleeping bags in front of the fireplace Christmas eve. Our kids loved it! I think i have noticed you have a fireplace in your new home, and thought it might be something you would enjoy! Happy Holidays!

You should look into a weather station for Josh. It not only shows outdoor temperature but it also shows indoor temperature, rainfall amount, wind speed, wind chill, etc. I bought one for my husband and he loves it. They even have one that can connect to your phone.
We had all our kiddos very close together. Our oldest two are 14 months apart. I had a pack and play in my hospital room when our second was born for our 14 month old to hang out in while I was stuck in bed recovering. Thankfully we had that, my husband had to leave for an emergency work issue three hours after she was born. That was hard! 2 kiddos 2 years old and under is no joke. However we now have 5 little girls 8 years old and under...that is no joke either. The days are LONG but the years are SHORT!

When you said it’d be fun to have the 4 it definitely is! We have a 9 month old, 2 yr old, 4 yr old and 5 yr old. It’s hard but a whole lot of fun and they are so close!

These days are maybe a little easier than when they were baby's, but I really enjoyed the baby years, now with scholars and attitudes, I'm so thankful that I learned to live in the moment while they were little, our first 2 are 13 months apart, I hope to send you a Christmas card😊, you don't have to send all of us one, as you showed it to us on camera😄thanks, was great seeing Josh , my hubby is shy and quiet and probably wouldn't want to be on RUclips!

I would love more vlogs or videos with Josh. I love his humor and his laugh. He is a wonderful husband and father. I also would like to see clips of your DIY's. I can't wait until the kitchen remodel even though I like family rooms also. I totally agree with changing the subject when your child is throwing a temper tantrum. Also with both of you never give in to them by giving them what they want. Ages 3-4 may be harder but they also understand more and may try to manipulate you. We share the same birthday! :) Our family out here in Montana always gets together Christmas eve for a steak and crab dinner, then again early Christmas morning and we have breakfast together, then we spend the evening at home with our own families. We go sledding Christmas eve before dinner if there is enough snow, and then after we eat we watch "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart. The little ones are given bells that they hang on the tree after ringing them...a lot, Ha! Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

You & Josh are absolutely adorable 😍 You compliment each other perfectly because you are somewhat polar opposites (proving that opposites attract!). See how Josh carefully stuffed his envelopes, peeled and sealed, and placed in a neat pile. Megan stuffed many more, while taking the lead on the Q&A, tossed them with flap open in a haphazard pile. Now she has step two, the peeling and sealing left for another project. Josh did not do as many, but his job is done. You are lovebirds at heart and understand each other so well. I just ordered, Bible Promises for Moms and A Little God Time for Mother’s to start a new devotion. I think I will also start your advice of waking up before my kiddos to have some alone time in the mornings spent in the Word and just preparing for my day. I have a 2 year old and I’m a working Mom, so I really like some of your ideas for “self care”. (Which is from another video...lol..) I'm Mennonite also, living in California, though I'm Mennonite Brethren, and as you explained in a previous RUclips, Mennonites kind of run the gamut. MBs are on the conservative side (at least they were when I was growing up.... i.e., no dancing, no drinking, no movies, no smoking - though things have really changed since then... but we ladies wear pants and don't cover our heads). I loved this video, and really appreciate your honest witness and practical, sensible, and down to earth outlook on life, kids, marriage. Thank you for a refreshing place to go on RUclips. ONE QUESTION: WHO is on your Christmas list??? That's a HUGE pile of Christmas cards!
