@@BrayGrayy Bro, this just saved me I didn’t know this! It doesn’t work in 6k lol (You know men don’t read manuals lol) after I seen this and tried it I’m good with the xm5 4k DCI digital correction is all I need with video lol man I’m glad you posted that imma stick with it💯👊🏾
@therealboogie23 Lol, yeah I found this out right after posting the video (and even got a comment about it) and was like "Oh man, I have to post an update for everyone!" 😅😅
@ figured it out the setting are totally different from my X-T30II I had to disable Auto update on all modes! I thought changing it stayed set for all modes not just the one your in!😏
You’re really selling me on this camera. I recently went from needing a pro video workhorse to only shooting for fun dad-cam style and this looks like an amazing option.
Great Video. I also set the "Face-Detect on/off" to the AFL/AEL Button. It is so helpful when taking photos. I am really happy with this camera. Honestly my X-H2S sits mostly on the shelf since i have the X-M5. I got a used 10-24mm F4 WR lens and will try this out to get more stable video.
I Truly Appreciate Your HELP & ENTHUSIASM, For/About This Camera. On The Facebook X-M5 User Group, I Mentioned Your YT Channel & 2 Others That Are Really Showing The Potential Of Thus Camera. Thanks Bray.
Honestly, if I had to choose just one I would go with the X-M5 because I shoot just as much video as I do photos and the X-M5 has better video features. Now if I was just doing photography only, I'd go with the X-T50.
Thank you for the video, is it possible to use in camera lut? If I want to shoot flog but watch the transformed picture to rec709 in the camera display
Yes! In the menu starting from the little tool icon, go to screen set up→F-Log View Assist →On. That should allow you to view your F-Log footage in Rec 709
@@ayuuaaa_places Hi! I actually just noticed while out shooting today (after the video was posted). Apparently, if you set Vlog Mode to shoot 6.2K the OIS+DIS setting is disabled. If you switch Vlog Mode to 4K, you will be able to turn on OIS+DIS.
I know your a creator but I just purchased the xm5 love the size but I feel the xT50 is better option because of IBIS and sharper optics how do you compare them if you had to choose one?
Yes, the higher resolution and IBIS of the X-T50 definitely give it an advantage over the X-M5 (especially in photography) but the X-M5 also has advantages over the X-T50 (mainly in the video category). I think ultimately the choice between these 2 options will be based on what you mainly shoot (photo or video? Low light? Fast moving subject? Etc.) and how you shoot and edit (do you need to crop?)
There's no hardware button for that by default. If you go to menu→set up(tool icon)→button/dial setting→touch screen setting, you can turn on T-Fn from there.
@@ebubekircetinkaya I personally try not to go beyond 6400 ISO, but if I have to go up to 12800 I usually have to do some noise reduction in post. If you shoot in F LOG2, the base is 1250 and I usually just try to stay there for the cleanest video.
The lowest ISO you can use with FLOG2 is 1250. If you were using FLOG, you can go down to 640 and if you're just using film simulations you can go lower

Are you able to set a Custom setting ( C1, C2, C3, C4 ) to Q menu? Seems like it's currently missing.

It's a pretty good little camera, and I definitely think it'll be awesome for your needs. It sells itself, haha 😆
Saw your vids about this camera, so i went ahead and got a restock off Best Buy. Loving it so far.
