I always shoot with focus peak on, turned to red. I find that I find focus in half the time and it helps highlight the subject you're interested in.

I have the 27 mm Fujifilm for my XT5 it's small and light but not terribly inspiring. Compared to my f 1.4's there is no comparison but it's still a nice lens. I't feels a bit too small for my XT5 but I use it quite a bit.I'm hoping to sell my XT5 and get an XT50. I'd add the 18 mm Voigtlander. Have you tried that one or anyone in the discussion tried it? I’ve been looking into switching from canon to fujifilm. I currently use a Rebel T7. Is the X-T50 a good introduction or should I look at cheaper models like the X-T30ii or X-T3? Because the high end cameras I’m looking at are the X-T5 and X-H2, so is it worth getting a mid-entry camera to build up a lens collection and get introduced to fujifilm? And be set for future camera models? (Ex: X-T6, X-H3, etc.)

Nice and clear video. I supported the A-toll collar ring when it was on Kickstarter, and back then, the A-toll collar ring could be rotated 360 °, for upside-down photography, too.

I have the Sony A7cii. The autofocas and image quality is superb. But it has no soul. Rather boring to use and kind or awkward to shoot with (button layout, no joystick etc). I love the shooting experience with using a fuji. Kind of tempted by the xt50 as a walk around.

i think some gimbal like hohem mt2 with the ai tracking will make xm5 pretty cool but it will be heavy carry for simple vlogs theres no competition for osmo pocket 3

XM5 image quality is a clear winner over OP3, but stabilization is pretty bad.

Great video! The X-M5 footage is so clean and after watching countless videos on it this one may jut have convinced me to pull the trigger on it.

Hey mate, great video! Thanks for the comparison. Have you tried setting your frame rates and shutter speed higher for digital stabilisation? I’m guessing the weird shaky blending background effect is produced by digital stabilisation in lower shutter speed/frame rates on the MX5. As for the jello effect, maybe consider setting the focal length at 12-14mm, it would get you a better result :)

To be honest Dji Pocket 3 quality is so close that I would choose it over X-M5 for convenience. It's just easier to vlog with and stabe is stellar. I would use X-M5 just for photos. Right now I am using Panasonic S9 which has fantastic stabilisation but I find myself using my iPhone 15 Pro more and more as it's just easier to use, it's smaller and quality of video is not that far away with AppleLog. I might just buy X-M5 for travel photos and Pocket 3 for video. Seems perfect small dual setup.

Hey! Big thanks for your efforts to test the stabilization with the two lenses. I can confirm, that the OIS of the 10-24 does not make such a big difference in comparison to the sigma 10-18. When you don't want to vlog just try the old 18-55. (For normal filming) At 18mm the stab seems very decent. For me the perfect x-m5 lenses are the new air-series from viltrox with f1.7. (a 25mm is coming soon). For daily use i will keep the 18-55 on it and for really stable footage i will try a small gimbal (although it is not my preferred solution) Greets from Germany 😊

Finished the video! So, first off I don’t think keeping the xt6 makes sense for what you post on your channel. You do you, but this video proved that the xm5 is great. The external mic and stabilization of the DJI camera are nice features, but the use cases and quality of footage seems better on the Fujifilm. Also for me, a big part of buying a camera right now would be the photos. Family events and creative artistic uses seem way more practical on a hybrid instead of compact camera. I’ve been looking for a hybrid mirrorless to replace my Canon 6D Mark 2 and looked at the R10 as a more portable option. The XM5 has way more advanced features and controls for a very similar price. Plus the style of the Fujifilm is a nice bonus. Each one of your videos pushes me closer to pulling the trigger on the transistion. Thank you for taking the time to make this content.

Halfway through the video and I can say I don’t like the results with the digital stabilization. The autofocus looked good enough on my iPhone.
