  • Learn the meaning of road markings so you can be a safe driver and pass your driving test. In this video, Jacqueline will focus specifically on limit lines and tire stripes. These are commonly referred to as pedestrian crosswalks and stop lines.
Pavement markings are there to help you as a driver, so it's important that you understand what they mean. Stop lines help guide you where to stop, and tire stripes help guide you where to position your vehicle on the road. Learning all of this can be difficult for a new driver, some road lines are broken, some are solid, and some are even yellow!
In this video, Jacqueline, a seasoned driving instructor, will help teach you everything you need to know about these road markings to become a safe driver. Follow along on this driving lesson!

If the kids were out of the picture and it was just the two adults , would you have turned as they instructed or would you have been adamant and stayed until they crossed. Thank you

The general rule is to always yield to pedestrians as they always have the right of way at any intersections. So even if they told you to go, you still have to stop for them. Oh and there was a stop sign as well, so Jackie had to stop for any incoming traffic or pedestrians.

They told you to go bc as pedestrians we're used to being impatient at stops. They waived you off bc they are not impatient lol... they waived you off bc drivers rush us when we cross... so, it's easier to just waive you off so i can walk and take my time. We dont want to hold you up if we know we are going to walk slower. I like taking my time... so, i just waive them off.
