Note: Workforce ST-2000 & 4000 Supertank are Discontinued via Epson, guys/gals if you find them on other middle man sites just know that model is now no longer in the making. Looks like the NEWER Models are ST-C2100 & the ST-C4100. If you are going to invest and you have money to spend buy the latest & the greatest. Just a word of advice gang always check the manufactures websites before buying for things like this. It will be worth your time and investment. They may have upgraded something that could have been an issue in previous models, or just a simple upgrade that would be in your favor for the same cost if not just a few bucks more. Sharing is Caring :-)

This means that the ink is not heated when applied to the paper, it uses a vibration to apply. Even if you used another printer with the correct ink, it will not work because the ink heats to a gas before it adheres to the blank. If you use a printer with a different head then it will heat the ink while printing.

Sublimation cartages are going to be printer cartridges with sublimation ink in them. Sublimation ink should be the same whether it's in a cartridge or not.

Have you tried any other sublimation ink other than StarCraft? If so, which one and why did you choose StarCraft over that other brand. Also once you choose a brand of ink do you have to stick with it?
I have tried Hippoo ink also, and I think Starcraft sublimation ink is slightly brighter so that’s why I use it most often. Technically when the ink gets low you can switch over to a new brand of ink, but they’re going to mix together for a while until the ink has move through the lines of the printer, so honestly I’m not sure you’ll really notice a different when the ink is mixed vs when you’re using the new brand.

Save your money and purchase a Sawgrass. The Epson has a printer counter and will give you a E-11 code that you have to find a service center repair, ours did it in less than 90 days. Once you use the Epson printer for sublimation you void the warranty. The printer pads are less than $15 dollars to replace but an Epson Center Center will charge you far more than the printer is worth to reset.
Sawgrass printers are great, but there is no savings when buying a product that's 3x more expensive for the printer itself as well as the ink. I address Sawgrass printers in the last section of the video.

Correct, you can't print bigger than the maximum cut size in Cricut Design Space, but you don't have to use Cricut Design Space to print sublimation designs. I'm not sure what product you are asking about, but unless it's a sublimation print, then you just use a regular printer with inkjet ink.

Usually I fix that by cleaning my print heads. A few other things you can try are increasing your quality in the print settings, or try printing from a different program that you’re using now.

Using Purecoat is an epoxy-free method of creating a tumbler that isn't related to sublimation. I would contact 143vinyl about safety concerns because I'm not sure.
No, polyester is the only fabric that will actually react with the ink. There are polyester sprays that people use on other fabrics but I do not recommend it because it will wash out eventually.
Hi, I think you would tile the image and print it on different papers, then use heat tape to tape together to get larger images to heat set. Add hash mark to line image up once printed in your imaging software.
I have an Epson ET 2760 and all of a sudden I can't get the ink to fill for the yellow or magenta. :( I have tried cleaning the heads multiple times but it's a no go to be able to refill the ink. So weird!
I wouldn’t recommend trying to get that specific. I would just take the cost of all your ink and divide it by how many shirts you estimate you’ll get out of it. Each shirt is going to take a different amount of ink so it’s really hard to calculate for each shirt.
Super tanks are equivalent to eco tanks, but super tanks are usually marketed toward businesses. Both are originally inkjet printers that can be converted using sublimation ink.

ICC Profiles are used when your printer is printing colors that look funky. So if you're not having issues with your colors looking correct after they're pressed, then you don't need an ICC profile.

I’ve owned sawgrass since 2018. Ink is about $300 plus just to refill now 😳. Using any other ink avoids your warranty with sawgrass as well
