Thanks for the video. The most important thing has been forgotten in the list of disadvantages of the Epson printer. A decisive factor, as known in photography, is the frame management. That is, the color reproduction. This is definitely better with the Sawgrass printers. Unfortunately, this is no longer a matter of taste when a turquoise color is displayed as a normal green. Of course, you have to consider what you can do without and what your personal advantages are. However, I consider color management to be indispensable.

thank you. I too have the F170, love it. By the way, its 399 and comes with full bottles of ink. It doesn't dry out if it goes unused for a while. I've went months with no issues. The print outs are fantastic. You can print up to 47.2 in length. I've only found the sublimation roll paper 8.5 wide from one place and it works great and saves lots of money. For really important things I only use Epson's paper. It also works great. I do agree with you on the ink. No matter what printer you get, stick with the correct ink. When I upgrade to a bigger one, it will be the Epson F540. I love that it uses the same ink as the F170 too. Thank you for a great and accurate video.

I bought the Epson WF7020 a few years ago when they were on sale for $295.00 that can make up to 13” x 19” prints. The ink costed only $35.00 for all four color 500ml bottles and $35.00 for refillable/reusable cartridges and made products cheaper which means higher profits. I’ve used a “converted” Eason from the beginning and hate it. Now that I’m doing more sublimation I’m looking to upgrade to a Real Sublimation printer (likely the Eason) I was wondering if you’ve ever tried sublimating on WHITE Suede? If so do you lose True color? On my printer I print on a polyester canvas and get vibrant colors but when I use the same colors on white suede I get a much lighter color. Just trying to figure out if a Real Sublimation printer would help before I spend the money. Thanks!

Do people get away with them and have them last Years? Absolutely. However, I have coached thousands of students and MANY of them had their converted crap out in less than a year.

    ⚠ Trigger ⚠ Warning ⚠:
    Compliments incoming ⭛ ( 😱Oh, the humanity!)
So, with that disclaimer out of the way, here's why I watched this entire video and wound up hitting the Like button👍🏻 (which I never do unless it's a worthy piece of content) >
You're like a Kathy Lee Gifford circa 1980s and my psychiatrist (she's hot af, so that's not a cap or nothing) so you're attractive as all hell and good presentation / charisma skills, along with knowledgeable about this subject and experienced with the topic, so not just vicarious knowledge (book-smart), but empirically intelligent and you use a light sprinkling of curse words (I assume - this is the only video I've seen but you started with a nice 4 letter smoker in this video 🤘🏻) without being a potty mouth sailor..
Kinda taking a verbose route towards the point which is, in a nutshell, you're a much better person to learn from than any of the other ppl on RUclips here that are focused on the subject of sublimation printing, and I just thought I'd pass that along.
I watched probably 5 other channels with varying degrees of tolerance for their content before I eventually tapped out on each one before the video ended.. But I stuck around for this entire upload here and took the time afterwards to type this out due to the fact that you were the only sublimation printing channel that didn't either bore me to tears, irk me in some inexplicable manner that's just too ineffable to attempt to explain, too bubbly personality with pretentious undertones, or any number of other attributes that sent me packing and lookin'for an exit - Only your style was chill enough without droning on and concise enough without prattling on and frankly pretty enough to initially catch my attention and hold it through the length of the video with informative and well-presented knowledge of the subject, so.. Yeah.
    For what that's worth¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I won't be surprised or disappointed if you say I lost you at my remarks in reference to your level of attractiveness because it's fashionable right now to search for any reason to shit on a dude for having the audacity to speak aloud any words in reference to a female's looks and totally discredit and discount any and all of the rest of the feedback from him based on that one aspect of it alone, so that's cool if so.. But if you're not so easily folded and thick enough skin to accept a compliment in that regard then that would be yet another reason why you're the GOAT of this niche, so hopefully that's what it is and not the former.
With all that said, regardless of which way you've taken these words I wish ya continued success in your career and will point anyone curious as I was about sublimation printing your way, cool?
    Alright, well..
Not sure what else to say, so..
    Right on.
Stay well and keep doing your thing since you're evidently doing something right ✌🏻
