Joe, I wanted to add that I enjoyed your discussion of the Atlanta Rhythm Section. I loved all their music and saw them several times at Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom. Did you know Alex Cooley? He brought Rock & Roll to Atlanta in late 60s & 70s. He put on the legendary Pop Festivals in 1969 & 1970. I saw many great acts at his Electric Ballroom, Johnny Winter, Nugent, Taj Mahal, etc. He made Atlanta a great city for Rock & Roll. Thanks also for responding to commenters. We appreciate it!
Xcellent interview of a Southern Rock legend, talking about other Southern Rock legends. I have a broken Artimus Pyle drum stick - thin strips of duct tape wrapped around it in a crisscross pattern - that I snagged at a Skynyrd concert at Winterland a year b4 the crash. My favorite souvenir from the 70s and one of my favorite all-time concerts.
Thank for what you do Joe. I love watching these interviews. A like and sub is the least I can do. finally back work after 2 years of covid restrictions. Live entertainment was hit hardest than anyone I believe. I know tourism has to be a close second.
