matt's a brilliant dummer. i always felt like soundgarden was kind of a supergroup, cos each player was exceptionally amazing - matt rips up those drums, chris's vocals are ridiculous, kim's fingers are lightning-fast and ben's bassline pulses through your soul...
It's crazy that Matt says here that things hadn't gotten stale yet and talking about the band's planned more experimental future and they broke up a month later. As for the knobhead below commenting on Cameron's grip, obviously he hasn't ever heard of French Grip, because he plays with a textbook version of that grip while fluidly moving to German grip for ghost notes.
Come on buddy. Matt Cameron is a beast on the drums. Plus he's made a living playing in 2 huge bands, and countless side projects like: Temple of the Dog, Hater and Wellwater Conspiracy, to name a few. We are watching him on RUclips, while he is living pretty much every drummer's dream. As far as his grip goes, who cares? It works for him. He plays hundreds of shows a year, and I have never once heard of him cancelling a gig because of wrist or hand issues. Sounds like sour grapes to me....
Went to high school with Matt. Glad to hear him play with one of the best bands ever. Go Bonita Vista. Love what your doing Matt ROCK ON!!!!
