The tinted helmet has been of great help to her because they could not see who was behind the helmet. I still admire her courage. It is like just watching with your mouth open and waiting for something to go wrong. You need to see the reaction when she told them she was going to Abuja on that bike. The thought she was mental and not possible. Goed gedaan meisje. Proficiat.
Right from the start with the new intro, Noraly sporting a stylish new helmet and pants (which look great), and most of all to see you back on your love, Alaska, in Africa gave me a deep rooted wonderful feeling. @@andersnilsson6625 the perspective of the Swedish Foreign Affairs Ministry is for people who are risk adverse and I think it's to make travelers more conscious of their environments when they travel. I'm not Nigerian but Nigeria is a country I visit often. I'm not saying this bc I'm black or African but bc I have first hand experience of what it is to be there. I recently came back from the Middle East and let me tell you I felt very insecured in certain neighborhoods at night more than I have felt in Lagos. In the US, you can be gunned down in a Mall, on the streets in the blink of an eye. Danger lurks everywhere on this planet and the best reaction isn't to shrink into our shelves but to learn how to navigate the tortuous roads on our journey. Ofcourse, we don't learn much about ourselves by "hiding" in our comfort zones. You may like to follow "Authentic Traveling", he is an expert of traveling in Nigeria

Great memories. I grew up in Nigeria. My father worked as a peadatrician at the Wesley Guild Hospital in Ilesha where he was part of a program researching measles. We received the first doses of the recently developed measles vaccine which was being tested at the hospital and in the surrounding communities. The only way to travel to Nigeria at the time was by freight steamer but by the time we left in 1961, BOAC was operating flights out of Kano to Europe. All the roads outside of Lagos were dirt and ony a few of the rivers were bridged. Hope you are able to enjoy the wonderful people and their brightly coloured clothes and your experience is not tainted by the security issues.
Been so long yvisited Nigeria...we are way way past those times... you can't count the bridges and road networks available... its a talk about quality...nit if theres roads...a lot of airports too

At the start I never dreamed she would become the world traveler and adventurer she is. Thank you Noraly and please be safe.
Prayers and blessings to your recovery. You will get through this!
Nigerian here. Was quite worried at the beginning of the episode, we have an unfair share of corrupt officials. But it seems you really do a lot of research, I was amazed about how much you knew already about what to expect. That gave me some comfort. Well done Norally
Do not ride at night
Be careful and vigilant
Locals are mostly really nice
Officials are mostly corrupt, so expect extortion so it doesnt come as a surprise when u encounter it
Be vigilant again, a woman like Noraly will garner attention
Nigerians disrespecting their own country is sad
@@cincyryda How are they disrespecting their country?
@@cincyryda Its not a disrespect to the country, buh a reality we have to live in day to day... Where the supposed protectors leech off the citizens and u cant trust officials to stand for you if you dont have money, even if you are in the right. Its corruption of officials not disrespect to the country.
You dont know wat it is like until u are a victim of that system...
Now trying to protect someone from falling a victim is a bad thang?
@@kongtimilehin You also got to say that the civilians, too, don't obey rules and police capitalize on it to continually commit their corruption.
Thank you, Noraly. For all of your work and expertise in making and editing your videos. You are entertaining millions of fans!!
Yay! I have caught up with Noraly's uploads in real time! A few weeks ago, my RUclips feed displayed one of the Return to Africa videos; after I watched that one and a couple of the others in that series, I knew I needed to back up and watch ALL of them from the beginning. I just watched the last one in the second India series last night, and here I am, ready to watch the first Nigeria episode. These videos are the best thing on RUclips, hands down.
So I have to admit I’ve slumped a bit on watching after watching every single episode of the America’s within hours after you posted the videos I failed to watch the first Africa leg. I’m happy to say I’m back and ready for exciting times ahead! Thank you Noraly it’s like I hadn’t missed an episode because you are always your happy independent superwoman self!! Safe travels ahead.
Getting close to two million subscribers. I joined at 67,000.... the olden days. Auction was at £6,500 ($8,187 USD) when I looked. Congrats on that Noraly, all for a good cause. First thing I noticed was Alaska's sound. Honestly, I liked Basan2's sound.... maybe I disconnected a little from Alaska too. The bright colors of the clothing was awesome. We call that stack of money a 'wad' in the U.S. What a hassle. I completely understand why you'd want to ride with the visor down! Thanks, Noraly!
Wecome back to Africa. Loved the little trip to India as well.
Yay Alaska!! So loyal and tuff…just like her master!! Happy to see you and Alaska back on the move!! The dynamic duo strikes again!Loved the suspenseful music after crossing Nigeria. Hope this is not so stressful! Looking forward to your new adventures and also..I love your new helmet and I think many people will be very excited to participate in the helmet auction! Great idea!! Cheers from Texas USA❤❤
Perfect! I've always said Alaska and Noraly are a perfect pair, Tough, beautiful, resilient under pressure, and loyal to each other. Seeing Noraly seated back on Alaska gave me goosebumps. Peace!
Glad you’re back on Alaska! Stay safe and we’re all looking forward to this next part of Africa!
there's a sweet young nigerian girl just started work at my place. I'm in northern england and she's been telling us about her homeland.
her english is absolutely perfect and she says she's never felt so safe in her life being here.

Greetings to her and May God protect her and keep her safe

I've been away from your site for several months now and must say am very happy to not only see you but also Alaska. Noraly I don't know how you do it but you just seem to make people smile no matter where you are.
The return of Alaska, love it!
Good to see you back on African soil Noraly. Please take extra care of yourself, those checkpoints are there for a reason. Security is tight to safeguard the populace. Be safe. 👋👋❤🇿🇦
Your videos are so interesting. Love them. I’m new to this, found you a couple weeks ago. Have a great time and be safe.
Proficiat.
What a great gesture to auction off the helmet for charity truly a golden hearted gesture by miss noraly
Right from the start with the new intro, Noraly sporting a stylish new helmet and pants (which look great), and most of all to see you back on your love, Alaska, in Africa gave me a deep rooted wonderful feeling. I can hear the joy in your voice and see the happiness on your face. Hard for me to put the feeling into words. Never tire watching the awe-inspiring way you handle checkpoints and border crossings! Thank you so much Noraly for continuing to bring us joy. Peace! ❤❤❤ PS thanks for the comment on the tires! I already wore out a set...thanks to your inspiration.
Happy to see you re-united with Alaska. Looking forward for new adventures with you two.
This Lady is an epitome of COURAGE and DETERMINATION.
I salute you.
What most people wont appreciate is the heat that she endures - it’s absolutely relentless.❤
I hope the new helmet is air conditioned.
It's just like saying Nigerian RUclipsrs in Canada need to be appreciated for enduring cold while making their content 🤭
I had been waiting for West Africa Series to return, didn't expect it to be much sooner. You barely had a break before resuming your journey and you started big right in Nigeria. 😄
Drive safely and take care of your health, Noraly. Also, so good to see Alaska back!
So nice to see you reunited with Alaska 🏍 after months apart. Can't wait to see where your African journey takes you. Wishing you safe travels, good weather, and amazing sights along the way. 😊
How are you not at 2 Million yet ? Your journeys are definitely not for the faint of heart. As always safe travels.
Up up nuff nuff blessings. Peace respect n strength. Way up.
Yeah! That's Noraly.👍 And it's great to have you back on your journey through West Africa (and of course, the rest of Africa), after a well-deserved break just before the onset of the heavy rains.
Indeed, you're welcome back!!!👏👏👏🎉🎊🎈
Nice to know you were able to upload the video, so we know you're alive. You are now moving in very dangerous areas. But we are at least two million viewers keeping our fingers crossed for you. 💕😄😃
No, not dangerous as you think!!! There’s danger everywhere!!! That old narrative of Nigeria being dangerous is outdated
@@JAIYE8 The Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and many other Europeans advise against traveling there due to the security situation!
Probably no worse than Rinkaby, Husby, Alby or Rosengård, but they don’t warn about travelling there 😂😂
At least they've stopped the public executions on the beach.. @@andersnilsson6625
Thank you Itchyboots for your courage and showing us the real life stories of being on the amazing beautiful road. May the Lord continue to bless and protect you all!
Very nice to see you in Nigeria, the country I grew up in. Im from India and currently live here, but lived in Nigeria till I was about 15. Brings back a lot memories. Thank you for that and not to mention, the continuing inspiration I get from you, to jump in the saddle and see the world like you do. Happy and safe travels Noraly 🙏
Yeah my favorite RUclipsr is back and in my favorite part of the world 🌎. Be safe and I'm looking forward to seeing what's ahead 😊
welcome back to Africa. Looking forward to many informative episodes on your African sojourn!
You can be anywhere in the world and still find your way around so easily. Amazing.
Wow, I did my medical housemanship at the Wesley Guild Hospital.
Wow I know Ilesha in Osun state.

Nigeria has changed a WHOLE LOT since then. A whole whole lot.
Noraly, qué bueno que estés de nuevo en África. Se te ve brillante y feliz, se nota en los colores de tu ropa qué armonizan con Alaska, ella arrancó inmediatamente porque quiere seguir viviendo aventuras contigo. Bienvenida!!!
I am also Nigerian, from the East, living in the States. Love your boldness and energy. You have a great personality and cultural humility that helps
I love and admire your courage to travel to unknown places. Especially to Nigeria. where we hear all kinds of horror stories of kidnappings. Even amongst the people from there. Otherwise Nigeria is very peaceful. I dup my hat/heart for you.
You are amazing. I will show your clip to my American born kids to see and believe Nigeria is safe. Good luck sister.

This reminds me that I live in a "Lagos-bubble" where traveling between states seems so scary.
It was really nice watching you ride and meet people (except for that "anything for me" guy, soo annoying but understandable lol)

Very annoying "anything for your boy" uniform gangsters.

Wow Noraly you just keep the awesome content coming. Broken hand, rainy seasons, no obstacle stops you. You rock girl. Ride and be safe in Nigeria. 😊❤
Once again riding a bike called Alaska… through Africa. I love it. I love your fortitude Noraly. Ride safe. Looking forward to new sights & interesting people.
You have been unfaithful to Alaska, messing around in Europe with those pretty-boy bikes. But Alaska is forgiving, and she will warm up after a few hundred KM's with you on top. 😊Welcome back to the drumbeat of Africa. Safe travels.
So happy to see you enter Nigeria, you are highly welcome 🙏 please relax and enjoy yourself and before you left Nigeria to Cameroon 🇨🇲 make sure you drive through Akwa ibom state, enjoy your stay

I very much enjoyed this video. The hurdles you overcome with passports, visas, and "check points", it's amazing you get any real riding in. In your closing you commented on security. This old guy (with a daughter a bit older than you), has always been concerned with your safety while riding alone. Be SAFE and enjoy as much as you can in Africa. You are completely crazy to take a trip like this! But at the same time, your courage is simply amazing! Congratulations for choosing your dreams over your fears! Who else identifies with this desire to leave the comfort zone and live exciting adventures? 💪🌟🌍
