I Visited Nigeria’s Biggest City (Avoid These Men) 🇳🇬

- Lagos, the largest city in Nigeria, is a bustling metropolis known for its vibrant energy. Situated along the Atlantic Ocean, it boasts stunning beaches and a diverse culinary scene. Today, I experience its lively markets for the first time. Now I'm not gonna lie, you'll see in this video that I've encountered many moments of intensity, specifically when some of the locals approached me asking for money. It was a stark reminder of the economic disparities that exist in this dynamic city, and I'll share with you how I navigated these encounters with the utmost respect and understanding.
Despite these moments, Lagos stole a piece of my heart with its warmth, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Join me as I navigate through the colorful markets, intense interactions, while immersing myself in the rhythmic beats of Afrobeat music pulsating through the air.

Correct. It's a deeper issue indeed: almost everyone tries to take advantage of you & extort money from u in Nigeria.
What I said in the last episode is correct, you are a witty and humorous person,
so you can handle those conflicts and embarrassments calmly!
Your videos are of great help in marketing this country!

I live in France and for my first trip outside Europe, I chose Nigeria (Lagos) this year.
U re mostly welcome
Great mistake 😂
Tu devrais essayer l'Afrique francophone les gens sont trop gentils... tout dépend du pays bien sûr.
Maybe you have Nigerian blood that is why. I would never dream of going there.
Are u serious? Good luck (you will need it)
Must be exhausting being constantly harassed for money. You're far more patient than I'd be mate 👍🙂🇦🇺
Nah that's because he's from Europe. I'm a Nigerian and alot nigerians don't harass/beg tourists or citizens for money. He went to the hood of lagos(lagos is not our capital city) and that's where most uneducated and impoverished civilians reside in lagos state and also touts / hoodlums live there too. Nigeria is home to 36 states and each state is distinct and amazing and what you saw in the video does not represent in any way how the rest of the states in nigeria including lagos state. With that being said, lagos state is very beautiful and there is bad sides and good side too, the place Harry visited is the bad side.
@@J_Abraham Thanks for the clarity. Appreciated 🙏
@@J_Abraham exactly
Lagos is not Nigeria's Capital, Abuja is.
Plus you went to an area in LAGOS where you find lots of hoodlum, why dont you go to other calmer areas.
it's a skill that' I'm really proud of to be honest

Not everyone in nigeria begs for money, stay away from Hostile market places. , try the other side of nigeria where people are making it happen it happen. Am sure you're aware of all the opportunities in lagos, but either they're too poor or too blind to see, amazing
Not everyone. Maybe 90%
@@JJJ-ok7ncyou are Crazy
i said the same thing , many of these vlogers come to the motherland and only show the bad places
Please let them say the truth africa government are worse corrupt thief's the same in Ghana almost 90 percent of Nigerians are suffering so let them say the truth.
Ignorance is such a disease. First of all Lagos isn't the capital, secondly that place is like a down town market place and thirdly if the poor are begging for obvious reasons , what do you say about the elite in the UK begging for Nigerians to bring their money for studies; manpower to boast the economy, not forgetting the resources constantly in demand by the so called elite in foreign nations. I think people should refrain from comments they cannot back up but rather give a balanced view of things, that's a fairer assessment.
lots of love Harry . I can explore new places through your videos. keep it up and take care.
thank you for the love mate
This guy really tried, as a Nigerian myself, i hardly go to this area or part of Lagos.

Most definitely
Harry.... nice one...I love the way you stood your ground with those few crooks
The guy shouting „you done come back again“ at 07:44 was saying something like „ohh you‘re here again“ in normal english. He was speaking pidgin, for a british it would sound like „dont come back again“😂😂😂
Exactly
Very very true
I heard dont come back again.
@@flowrepins6663 cause you're not familiar with pidgin English. He was asking or confirming that he has come back again. It's like someone not use to Americans way of acknowledging a "Thank you" with "You're welcome". The person saying the thank you might start wondering where did I go that he or she is welcoming me from. Every culture has its way of speaking.
That's true, whoever that doesn't understand broken English would think he said don't come back again, but what he really said was you have come back again lol
Very sad, how the Nigerian government has let down its citizens 😢😢😢…hope better days are ahead for the people of Nigeria 🇳🇬 🙏🏾👍

Good video Harry. Good job. Be safe. ❤
Don't let people molest you lad. Be firm have some boundaries. You're the type of traveller to end up kidnapped, robbed or injured in these places.
Edit - I'm not saying Harry's a wimp or anything like that. The man's got courage and balls. I'm saying lack of situational awareness, no fighting skills and over familiarity with strangers in a place like Nigeria is risky.
I disagree, i think he's more firm and tough than some of the African American youtubers that come to Nigeria,
one thing I will say is he should be a little more aggressive, especially when that drunk guy was touching his hair. But overall, he's definitely not the wimp you make him out to be.
Also, you can't be too hostile or loud in that market, you don't want to attract a lot of attention or make people around you annoyed by your camera presence.
@@Rs2Hackzltd Nowhere did I say or insinuate he was a wimp. You should redefine or learn the definition.
@@Probabilityislife You said don't "let people molest you" and that he's the type of traveler to end up being robbed, kidnapped or injured, insinuating he's a wimp or doesn't know how to carry himself? just be quiet bro
