Had to do a little research. I didn't know that Abuja was the capital of Nigeria. Until I watched your videos I'd never heard of it. Abuja is a planned city, hence the order and cleanliness of it. Built only in the 1980s. Nigeria moved its capital from Lagos to Abuja, a more centralized location, to honor and respect all the different tribes, cultures, and religions in the country. On the outskirts is Aso Rock, a large monolith. You can see it briefly off in the distance as Noraly leaves the city at 2:44. Nice to see the beautiful countryside and mountains in eastern Nigeria. I hear there is a lot of political unrest in Cameroon. Keep safe!!!!
Me too I was watching this video with a friend from Nigeria. When Noraly said "capital" I was like HUH? To which he confirmed Lagos was not the capital (not anymore). That was news to me. By the way from watching the vid, he said: I'm Afrikaan and I wouldn't do this kind of travel myself, she's really brave. Big Up Noraly!!!
The first part of this video was tension-filled for me. The many informal roadblocks left me wondering what was going on. But then the people were very kind and curious. The highlands were indeed gorgeous ...and the roadblocks were fewer. What a relief! Stay safe, Noraly.

Noraly, your videos have gained immense popularity in Nigeria. Every security personnel stationed at the roadblocks is familiar with you and has watched your videos. They're cautious because they're aware of being on camera, and your large following watches and supports you as you travel across Nigeria. Wishing you a safe journey as you cross into Cameroon and continue your adventure.
Nope. I think u are wrong in your assertion. Naturally, majority of Nigerians are kind to foreigners, except in areas where there is insecurity.
That explains a lot.
That’ so untrue. Do you think Nigerians except the youths, have time to be following happenings on social media. Nigerian are just good people that are accommodating and welcoming.
And if you say that about the security personnel’s, what about the ordinary people she was inter reacting with along her journey in Nigeria?
