This is very unique from other messenger bag pastor Chris..very meticulously done..
Thanks Darius!
Terrific! It turns out what can make a really beautiful thing. I have not seen it yet. In Spain, I saw mountains of such tires. You need the state to pay for their disposal.
Hi Chris, this is an amazing idea and you made a wonderful bag. As usual an awsome piece of craftmanship. Thanks a lot for sharing this! Cheers,
Thanks, and thank you for watching!
Wonderful detailed video. Thank you for sharing your art. I hope I can make one as nice as yours. I will also be buying one of your finished products. Absolutely beautiful bags.

Cleufe Sartoretto Thank you!
Fischer Workshops yea its awesome Id like to know whats thats big white block you use to bang your ribbits on you know what I mean and can you make like a badass dark brown or black or grey cowboy hat somthing like John Marston would wear or like an assassin outlaw would wear that be dope lmk?
Hi Nick, I use a plastic pad under the leather when I punch holes to protect the chisel with. It's similar to a cutting board you'd use to but vegetable on, but thicker. Also, thanks for the suggestion about the hat. Sounds cool! I'll add that to my idea list...
This is an amazing bag! Wish you’d sell these on your website. It’s stunning.
Haha what a nice idea!! Well done!
awesome im gonna make one of these like.
Complimenti Dall'Italia
Thank you!
Very good idea, I like a lot.
Thank you!
Awesome brother
awesome 👍
чудо мастер....
Unreal! O_O
Just wow! So far the best mix of materials!!! Tell me,how did you get rid of the smell of rubber? Regards from Serbia.
Thanks! I found that after cleaning the tire there was little to no tire smell. Besides the smell of the leather overpowers it. I also used a little paint thinner to clean the paint marks on the tire, then used an interior car polish to buff the interior and exterior of the tire. After that the tire should be really clean and have a beautiful shine.
for Vespa vehicle accessories seems interesting
At first at was scared that the tire would look too industrial for the , I suppouse more elegant?, exotic fur. But no. They look good together.
Очень крутооооо................
Thank you!
Which stain color is that any brand name ?
Awesome!!! Can I ask what kinda contact cement and applicator you are using?
Absolutely fantastic work! Question though, when you mentioned the "bits" for the screws to go into are the "bits" some kind of threaded tube or something that help to anchor the leather to the tire via the screws? Secondly, if you don't mind me asking, what was the name of the last song in the video - ever since I watched this video I can't get it out of my head and lyric searches so far have turned up nothing for me. Again, absolutely stunning work and thank you for sharing!
Yes, they are. They are also referred to as Chicago screws by some. The bit works like an anchor for the leather to the tire. Also the songs on my videos are provided for by epidemicsound.com. That is why you can't find the songs online. The songs are royalty free and only available for business', movies, and corporations... Thanks!
Great Job. Looks really cool. This video is an hour long but how long was the actual time for this project?
About 2-3 weeks were spent on testing the design, then I spent about 2 full weeks to build the bag. Maybe about 80 - 100 hours of labor in total. That's not approximate, but in the ballpark.
❤️❤️💝💝
I'd have a GoodYear if I could make and sold one of these
Hi Chris, thanks for sharing your video I think I might have to try this. Can you tell me where you found your circular cutter and what type of Dremel tool do you use, is that the work station you have hooked up to your dremel tool? I love that extension line for the dremel tool it looks really handy. Keep up the good work, really enjoy your videos. Tammy
Hi Tammy, I used an Olfa circular cutter that you can purchase pretty easily online or maybe at a craft store. Dremel also sells a lot of models of rotary tools. I would recommend you get one that has adjustable speeds. This way you can control the amount of friction being applied. I purchased my dremel burnisher from, "Pro Edge Burnishers." The extension line is called a flex shaft and I bought mine for about 30USD. I hope this helps! Thanks!
cool idea but what kind of tire is that motorcycle look really small and you also cut it like butter
HI, u’ve done a good job. Looks soooooo good.
What size tyre did u use?
Similar to a Vesta sized tire
Do you have any recommendations to remove the rubber smell from the tire?
I let the tire sit out in the sunlight and fresh air for a couple of days, then washed it with soapy water. I was satisfied with the results, but if that isn't enough, then you might wash it with vinegar and water. Do so by filling a large bucket with water and add 1/2 cup of vinegar. Allow for the rubber to sit within formula for one hour and remove from water. It's said that this method does a good job of neutralizing the odor. Coating with peppermint oil can also temporarily kill the rubber odor.
comment s'appel le sac ???? et suis je le seul à y voir une figure dans le haut , au niveau de la poignée ???
sinon c'est très original et voilà des travaux qui réveille la créativité dans les esprits !! que ça fait du bien !! merci !!!
force et respect
What kind of leather do you guys use?

Hi Carlos, I'm sorry the translation didn't work very well. I wasn't able to clearly understand your request. You can also let me know the time in the clip that shows the product you are interested in, so I can have a better idea of your need. Thanks!
I believe he was referring to the pen you used to apply the edge coat.
Yes, I think you are right. I emailed them the info. Thanks!
Genius!! Any chance you make and sell these?
Yes, I do. For a price quote you can email me at, chris@fischerworkshops.com Thanks!😊

When I click on your hyperlink for the pattern - I get 404 error: page not found. Help please?
Looks like there are some broken links that need fixing. Thanks for letting me know
What kind of glue?
Валерий Гордиенко ks bond
How heavy is that?
With Shoulder strap, about 5 lbs
That's an awesome bag but, $900.00 to $2500.00? I realize the quality and time that you put in it. I cannot justify that price for what it is.
I mostly sell items like this to collectors and people who love motorbikes... Some want to use it as a regular bag and others like to use it as a display or decoration for their bike shop or store. The cost of the bag is the result of the quality of materials used and the craftsmanship. So I guess you could say the cost is in the details (hand-stitched, dyed, lined with leather...). Similar bags could be made out of cheap materials and skip the lining and other details to save time on construction, but would not be as beautiful, or last as long. This bag was built to last for more than a hundred years, from the stitching to the hardware... So, it may not make sense to everyone, but it does have its market.
@@FischerWorkshopsTaiwan SMH if there was a Prada or Gucci tag on it no one would bitch about the price. People just don't understand the work of a craftsman and how much sweat and creativity is put into this. I think the price is exactly what it should be if not more.
@@Au3and3 Thank you!😊
Did not misunderstand that the bag is for sale on your website? All I see there are templates and PDFs.

"Drop's bag".....has to chase it down the hill.
😅
Me desculpe a cinceridade mas eu não achei legal essa bolsa, muito esquisita. 👍
Why are the bottom of the gussets on the front pocket not sewn in or attached? It seems like a bit of a design flaw. If you're going to make a pocket, you don't want things to fall out the bottom of it.
The gussets are made from 1.6mm thick veg tanned leather. It's a hard leather and it has a about a 1.5 inch long tongue that lays across the bottom of the pocket. It might seem wrong, but it works perfectly and the pocket is sealed tightly on the bottom inspite not being stitched. This design also helps the pocket to better hold it's shape inspite of use.
Would be nice if you went into this a little more in detail in your video. Maybe you could do another one to address this. Thanks for the info.
Awesome brother
