For me, I just love the thought of how materials from ancient times are still used and hasn't changed(maybe in terms of the aesthetics, yes) and how pricey it is even in this era of computer.

With the right tools anyone is capable of anything. Never sell yourself short. Now, the talent comes in at have stitching and learning to use a sewing machine. I grew up with grandparents and parents whom believed in being self sufficient. They moved us into a retirement community 30 miles away from the nearest anything. We were the only children within a 30 mile range those old timers around us taught us so much. When we moved to that area they didn't even have electricity yet. People were still gathering their own water, purifying it, making their own vehicle fuel and soap from animal fat. Using gasifiers. Growing their own foods, making their own electricity from lake water. You wouldn't believe the things of grandparents knew and were capable of doing. The greatest pearl of wisdom I took with me was, anyone can do anything with the right tools. Talent comes from being able to make it without the right tools. Remember that and there won't be anything you can't achieve. None of this is too take away from the video or the dude in it, but to serve as a Jumpstart to your own imagination.
