- Celebrate Walt Disney World's 25th Anniversary all over again with this Good Morning America Special from October 1, 1996. It's filled with a ton of behind the scenes footage, Imagineering interviews, views of the Parks and Resorts in the 90s, a Michael Eisner interview, and several shots of that pink Cinderella Castle many fans would like to forget.

I was there in Fantasy Land when they interviewed Michael Eisner and when Pebo Bryson sang. I have photos of it all and am so thrilled to have found this!
I was there in November 1996. I had been to Disneyland many times so I excited to go to Disney World for the first time. I was 10 years old at the time. I saw the castle decorated as a cake, the animators working on Hercules (I got to see them draw Pain), Backstage Pass: 101 Dalmations, and got to see the movie 101 Dalmations on the last day of our vacation because it was raining. I still have some of my souvenirs from then.

I was there during that time period w/ the castle decorated as a cake. Some liked it/some hated it. Nonetheless, enjoyed being there for WDW's 25th.

The Prime Time Cafe looks amazing. 😍 What an awesome retro vibe!
I’ve been to the primetime 50s Café, and it’s really awesome. Every table has a portable television that plays old shows like leave it to Beaver and father knows best, and yes, the waitresses say things like get your elbows off the table, don’t chew with your mouth open and stuff like that they act like your mother back then it’s really funny and also before you come in they always call out your names and then they say dinner.
