I recorded this on my VCR when it aired and watched it about a thousand times. Ended up becoming a cast member in college and work as a travel agent sending people there now. This documentary really had soooo much to do with my love for all things Disney!! Thank you for posting.

I love watching these Disney Parks TV Special, it shows you how many years Disneyland and Walt Disney World bring out its magic to everyone especially watching it on TV. Too bad Disney isn't making these specials on TV anymore. :(

Wow, 21 years has past and so much has changed. Although it would be nice to see the full concept behind the Russian Pavilion, the Mt. Fuji ride, the Toontown Transit, and the design for the Tower of Terror. Also it's weird seeing the Wonder's of Life and River Country being fully operational, now you can only see what's left of it. So currently, we wait for the next big thing, the new Avatar themed land in Animal Kingdom...
    Amazing how things have changed.

Went there at 28 yrs old as part of my honeymoon vacation (yep, not my choice lol) and I've been hooked and fascinated ever since. It's amazing overload. Live a couple hours south now. The place is mind boggling. Seems like there's not a speck of grass out of place. And the whole property is HUGE. Pure genius to buy that much land. They just never stop building more parks! The original parks are warn and aging a bit though.

WDW is amazing. I first went in 2011 when I was 19. I was blown away I wasn’t sure what to expect? I had been to Hershey park a million times. But when I went to Disney world. I fell
In love. Have been back there 4 times since wish I could go more and wanna live in Florida

Yes. It was released under their subsidiary, Touchstone. They weren't sure which label they were going to release it under until the last minute. Disney was still a little shy in those days about releasing PG movies in their name. If they made it today, I am sure it would have been a "Disney" movie.

I didn't realize then that EPCOT was never envisioned by Walt to be a theme park. It was supposed to be an entire community where people lived & worked. Roy may have had the financial mindset but didn't have the imagination to see it through. I always daydream of what it would have looked like today if Walt was able to see it through fruition. °0°

People love to beat up on Eisner over his decisions during his later years with the company, but if it weren't for him, there might be no Walt Disney Company as we know it. Yeah, a lot of the credit goes to the people under him, but he brought many of them along. I bet you didn't know that under the the previous management they were considering selling off the theme parks to raise capital. Imagine WDW run by some other outfit or even gone.

And all about emotions and the wonders of life really haha! This could really do well in epcot in wonders of life since it might be the door knock to give courage that people will like learning about the mind and what it has to offer in a pavilion such as figment

I agree. However that is the way i feel about the 70s and 80s as well.
We live here and just bought annual passes this year after foregoing those passes since the 90s. I miss it all. The parks are MOBBED and i mean excessively mobbed (The way 4th of July looks...double it) and that's on a normal day and even weekdays.
People are rude and so are many cast members. The changes being made aren't the best of choices. I love Disney World but every time we go i long for simpler times. °0°

Disney intended for EPCOT to never be “finished”, but to be continually evolving. The only mistake made was how quickly our technology changes from year to year. They can’t possibly keep up anymore.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:"
    Genesis 1:26a
FOURTEEN years they studied to make the exhibit about our WONDERFUL body: but on the sixth day GOD created us! "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7!
SOULS live FOREVER, JUST like GOD! JESUS offers us the gift of SALVATION! Without Salvation, a soul will live FOREVER WITHOUT GOD in the lake of fire and brimstone! BELOVED! PLEASE DON'T DIE WITHOUT JESUS IN YOUR HEART!
