I was broke and had shitty jobs until I was 29 years old. Your situation isn't unique. Stop comparing yourself to people with charmed cookie cutter lives, it's not realistic. 25 is very young still, it's borderline comical that you think you can make a judgement on your life at such a young age. Wait until you're 45 before you make a judgment about how your life has turned out and take measures NOW to set yourself up so that you don't come to regret things when you actually are old. The power is in your hands my friend.

I subscribed and watched your story because we are both dealing with problems, and watching you I don’t feel alone, I hope you read this and realize that if you feel like a failure, I don’t see you as one because you’ve helped me, and you’ve definitely helped other people aswell.

When you are that young and going to school and living with family, not fitting into the conventional molds society has created for us can be a heavy burden. I've been there. It can feel like being trapped in places you don't belong without a realistic escape - it can feel so lonely.
Once you are older and truly get to choose your environments - your family, your friends, your work - you will find community through your uniqueness, and you will get to see that what sets you apart now is what makes you beautiful.
Hang in there please, the world wants you in it :)

I once sat on a jury based in a contract between businessmen about a new medicine. I saw the contract was written improperly and I was the only one and I know so because I pointed it out. I then asked the judge, on a sheet of paper, how I'm supposed to interpret this error. She said it was a good question and she didn't know the answer.
That case never goes to court if I was the defense attorney. The case was ended that day after the next break. Also for your credit score, get yourself a secured credit card where you put like 300 bucks in and use it like a card to build up your credit, then from there you can get unsecured - make sure there are no annual fees or other bs. ✌

You're not a failure. You may not feel young but you are and you have so much life left to live ahead of you. There's so much chance for new things to happen. Your success is not defined by how much money you make. It's about who you are as a person and what you do for the world and others. I can tell you have a good heart and I'm sure things will work out for you one day. You just have to get through the not so good years, they can be different years for all of us. At least you tried to get out and change things. You can try again. And as for renting, keep trying maybe you will find someone who will bend the rules for you.

Go get a credit card, problem solved.
Edit: you have to have credit to rent, you want to. You can offer to pay the entire lease out right (several months) and they will happily agree, but then they can disrespect you whenever because you've already paid in full. You may also want to leave if the landlord is insane... (Almost) no one is going to take cash payments for rent because there's almost no way to fall back on getting the payment if you don't pay. If they aren't using some form of credit to take payments, you either have a good deal or know someone.
TLDR: It proves you will pay should anything happen for any reason because the world is not perfect.
Sadly, it has nothing to due with money, (not really, anyways) and everything to due with the fact that all humans can't be trusted because some are untrustworthy.

Granted, betting on success as a streamer is a longshot, but he should consider not shying away from how to make income. I dunno, maybe he's convinced he needs to do it all off ads, but most streamers leverage other things like tips or their own ad sponsor deals.

But building a 20k sub youtube channel is nothing to scoff at either, and at this point I would definitely consider going all-in on youtube/streaming if I were him. Just gotta do a lot of research and treat it as an actual job rather than just starting a stream on a whim though.

Make a list of 5 things you need to get done, and what you need to do to reach each goal. Life coaches can help with this if needed. Maybe sit down with your parents and ask them to help you. I mean just because one person has not wanted you in their building doesnt mean to stop looking. People who dont want your money in hand are shitty landlords anyways. My suggestion would be to look into getting a job in the trades, whether that be a small little cabinet shop like my work, or you get into something that will teach you skills. Grind the way up the ladder and eventually you will get to the top. Trust me my guy, I've been living on my own for the last 7 years (I'm 25 turning 26 on the 16th of June) and I've worked all kinds of stuff. Gas station sucks I've been there, but I eventually hunkered down into a spot where I might not really enjoy the work but I worked and did lots of Overtime hours. Worked like a machine for 2 years and even with a wage increase every year its still not enough. When I left my house before I got booted out I was making around 12K a year and now Im practically just breaking the 40K mark and I'm still in the same spot where I was at with the 12K a year job(Still struggling). Renting sucks where I am at and im lucky to have the price I have. Its a hard world out there my friend, but sometimes you just gotta do up your boot straps and get to work, constantly improving and looking to be better then you were a year ago. Don't think of yourself as a failure, just learn from what has happened and make sure that you dont fall into the same pitfall.
