Did you ask if it’s an electrical issue with the MAF? How long ago did you put the aftermarket MAF in there? You should’ve gone to the parts store and got mass airflow sensor cleaner and cleaned it. It’s just a couple of screws to remove and very diy friendly. Also, $600 is a total ripoff. It’s probably a $150 (new) part and you can install it on 5 mins. Did you bother asking their parts dept how much a new one is? They’re separate departments and typically the easiest dept to work with at any dealership.
Here’s a simple way to test if your MAF is the issue. Still, clean it first. They often get dirty, causing issues, from a dirty air filter. So if you’re not changing your engine air filter every 12 months, it’s going to get dirty and cause faulty readings. Another thing, the throttle body could be dirty as well causing it to stall. Hey Luke you should have taken your car to any other shop not the dealership man Im sure the shop would have fixed it for you for free if they didnt fix it the first time, dont think that the dealership will have the part right there waiting for you any other shop can also order the part for you if they dont have it in stock............
If not in stock, dealerships get parts in next day. Other local shops that get parts in same day typically get them from local parts stores, so he’d end up with another aftermarket MAF. Most cars are sensitive to aftermarket MAF’s. He still should’ve tried to clean the part first.
I was told it might be a bad body control module ONLY being able to be reprogrammed at the dealership. So in my knowledge, that's what it most likely was. I thought that my car would've been working perfectly, especially when they fixed it and told me it would be good to go.

The mass air flow is a 70 dollar part, and all you need is a flat head screw driver and a trained monkey.
I replaced that myself which they insist is also the problem. I had some guy say it might be the fuel pump.
