Hey guys, I know this is a bit of a risky topic discuss and a sensitive one. But I really do believe more people would benefit from addressing it. Love to hear your thoughts. Join a virtual 21 Day Transformation! trainerjoes.com/
I don't understand how people say they don't have time to lose weight. Eating less gives you so much free time. Especially with Trainer Joe. Your plan is the first plan that I've done that takes all of the brain damage out of "the plan". I love TJ 's 100/6. Thank you so much 💓.

I think some of us church don’t realize the sin of over eating is a sin. Yet we seem to focus on smokers and drinkers. What happen to us fasting more? Over eating is a sin. Am getting better. Excellent show! I ordered my book. Thanks
I am a pastor and I completely agree with everything you are saying. I have struggled with my weight for almost my whole life. I am heavy. I have ordered your book today. I am so very thankful that I found your channel.
@@dustylee3265 thanks for watching! Let me know what you think of my book:)
@ got the book in today. I will keep you posted 😊

This is so deep! As a Christian I have been having difficulty losing weight so appreciate these videos
Two things I think about:
1. We are to be good stewards of what God has given us.
2. When you ask God to bless food for the nourishment of your body, does processed junk nourish your body? Just as we should not fill our minds with junk, same goes for our stomach.
You guys are great, as a Christian I really appreciate what you’re saying. Thank you so much! I needed to be reminded of this.
I have to lean heavily into God to be able to lose anything. I fight panic when I’m in a calorie deficit. I think God made me this way and put me in a culture of plenty so I would turn to Him. Food moderation is harder for me than anyone else in my household but with God nothing is impossible.
Yes! 🙌 Makes sense to me!
God has been convicting me lately that food can very easily become an idol when we put it before God, which is easy to do.
🙌
This message is NEEDED and you guys presented this with grace and a perspective I really haven’t thought of before. A message I told myself for most of my life was that self care in this area was vain/selfish. I would show up for anyone else and not break external commitments - but consistently let myself down in the name of helping others… I know this ties to a lot when it comes to relearning how God sees the value in me. This message was right on time ♥️ thank you!
🙌
This was a needed good word for Christians! Thank you for sharing!
I think a lot of the issue with overweight people is hopelessness. I know for me that’s what holds me back. When you are 100+ pounds overweight, you know darn good and well that it’s unhealthy and you did this to yourself. To lose it all and to maintain a healthy lifestyle feels so far out of reach. (Not trying to sound all victim-y), but to get the overweight person encouraged about the future is what is challenging.
💯 we all need encouragement. Here is yours. Let’s gooooo! You can do this!
I totally get you!! The mindset battle is HUGE. We lie to ourselves in so many ways and hold ourselves back sometimes. Take baby steps! One day at a time! And eventually you will also feel so much better!
@@maeganrogers9738 yes exactly!!! 💯💯 I actually joined the 21 day challenge. It’s been very insightful, really!
This is ABSOLUTELY a needed discussion. Romans 12:1-2 "I urge you, dear brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to the LORD - this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is. His good, pleasing and perfect will."
Absolutely the word gluttony has to be used! I've struggled for 50 years , the last 25 of it with morbid obesity...and i find my addiction to food is taking its toll not only on my body, but my relationship with God cause I feel so ashamed!
Sorry you are going through this. Please consider my 21 Day Transformation to help you get a breakthrough. We do one every month. There is no shame in wanting to do the right thing.
@trainerjoes I've bought your book this week, but is there a link to join the 21 day transformation somewhere?

Trainer Joe. God bless you. I agree with 100% of this. My church constantly have food for sale at every occasion. Im the bad guy because i dont want it. Theres peer pressure to eat food that you dont want to eat. I just say NO.
Gluttony, which is a sin, is the one sin most Christians are comfortable with, even in the context of celebrations, religious or otherwise.
It would seem so
I used to work as a custodian in a church. There was often donut boxes in the trash cans. Sugar is the drug of choice for many people. I think what is challenging is being counter culture even among Christians. I am in my upper 40s and am the youngest in my Sunday school class. I don't eat the sugary snacks that the ladies bring. I feel guilty not eating the snacks because I know they are being so kind to bring them. But I don't want diabetes or for my belly to stick out. My husband and I prefer to make keto treats hopefully are a little bit healthier than eating snacks loaded with lots of real sugar.
@@andreamarie3224 yeah, it takes a commitment:)
Hard to hear but very true. Needed to be said.
Don’t miss your blessing! I love that
🙌
I feel this! I've been in ministry most of my adult life. I have gained 90 pounds via pregnancies--and miscarriage and a stillbirth, lost 80 pounds-I did not want to be the 7th wife of an African chief in Nigeria, and slowly gained back that 80 pounds-21 of those pounds were gained back in a three week time frame and I have no idea how I did it. I currently teach kindergarten in a tiny Christian school in Arkansas and I have so many health problems it's ridiculous. My pastor did your program. I think I might need to sacrifice and try it. I can deliver Uber or something. This sounds reasonable.
@@marijoalvis1980 let’s go! Our Black Friday deal in going on now! We start Monday! The link is in the description.
Gluttony can take many forms, food being one. Overindulgence in anything is wrong. How many Christians are sitting around watching there favorite TV shows when the lost are perishing?
Sure, alot of Christians are heavy, but there are no support groups in the church for this problem. Mostly, it is just dinners and brunches, breakfasts etc. together at church . Nobody ever talks about it. Why hasn't God provided small group curriculum ( affordable ones) for churches so they can create small groups/support groups for this?
@@frick6946 you are speaking my language! Amen!🙌 This is a big part of my mission! We have worked with several churches. I worked with one pastor in particular who lost weight with me and proceeded to suggest that we make my program a part of his church’s “discipleship culture.” Let’s go!!
Smoking, too.
Do you have proof of this? This is not true in my church
Proof of what?
What Church do you attend? Seventh Day Adventist’s are the only Church that takes health seriously
