You've done it again. Love the prices on these. I have to be careful cause I might end up just collecting these as arts. It's so tempting to just buy and buy even when I have one already.
I just purchased a 4th axis gimbal, sadly not your one as the wait at the moment would be crazy as I'm in Australia, so supporting my country in this time is now more important than ever. But watching your how to vid has really helped me get a better gRasp on things as I have a smooth q and I'm runn8ng an s10 plus, i came across the 4th axis just by shear luck whilst looking for counter weights to balance my heavier phone as I had the S8 when i first purchased my gimbal...... I'm definitly a chanel sub now as I love researching and being ahead of the curve when it comes to new tech........ thanks....... I want to start my own RUclips channel, but sadly I've been procrastinating about this since be4 buying my first gimbal.........
Hi Paul, sure we have a number of 4th axis that will work with those gimbals. For those gimbals the best place to look at it our range of four AirFlo stabilisers. Which one will depend on the total payload weight of the gimbal, camera and lens. You can find the AirFlo's here and we have specials running too. scottymakesstuff.com/collections/airflo-range
My apprehension is that when you show the 2 "first time users" 5:04 and 5:24 and 5:31 you do NOT show them long enough to see rig movement. I want to see how steady they end up. If not for that I would be ordering rite now.
Also, if you look ahead in the video ruclips.net/video/cLlLguT1kj4/видео.html you see the inset of the camera girl and the resultant video straight from a mid-range smartphone with no post stabilization done to it.
The Uno is just half of the Duo, isn't it? Also, do you really have to flip the arms to go from mid/low to high/upright modes? Why not just rotate the camera down and spread the arms?
Still curious which one I will need to get and best served by.. do these work with the Ronin SC? Also which product can be mounted to a car? thanks, these all seem like great products and I'm adding something to my cinesticks order!!
Hi Sean, in that case you will need the Glider Pro 3 with SC Uno mount but your total payload will have to be under 3kg/6.6pounds for single suspension arm so with SC being a very heavy gimbal your camera system would need to be under 1.2kg /2.6pounds. Check out this video for reference ruclips.net/video/smGAP2dFc3M/видео.html
@@ScottyMakesStuff thanks so much! Yeah, was looking at the glider pro 3 as my solution. The ronin sc is 2.43 lbs. and the max payload is 4.85 lbs so sounds about right? I hope?? Lol.
That's a good question. Compared to other systems both these are far more compact and also have damping which others don't have. The Pro 3 is built with Pro's in mind with better damping and a larger range of payloads. They're also built tough to take the day to day use/abuse that Pro's dish out as well as take the attachments that they put on their rigs or attach their rig to. The AirFlo is still a great option as it has the second best smoothing performance (after the Pro 3) but in a ultra compact and lightweight stabilizer. I'd say the smoothing performance is around 10% better on the Pro 3. The AirFlo would be around 20% better smoothing than the original Pro 2. The AirFlo is a lightweight bit of kit that barely adds to your rigs overall weight whereas the Pro 3 is a robust rig that has the modularity to be used in many scenarios with the add-on accessories. I'd be more inclined to make a decision between the two based on your end uses.
Hi Hoon, The best stabilizer for the freefly movi smartphone robot (and yes, they could do with a better name) is the AirFlo Uno Plus with the medium to heavy spring with the 1/4-20 base mount. Most smatphone rigs only need the light spring but for such a little stabilizer they sure are heavy at 600g without the phone.
Looks like a great product. One quick question - is there any provision for mounting other equipment to the AirFlo Duo like a small monitor or recorder???
Hi Dave, we have a deluxe gimbal base extender that gives you 2 x 1/4-20's and a 3/8ths attachment. scottymakesstuff.com/collections/accessories/products/deluxe-gimbal-base-extender and there's also the base of most gimbals have a 1/4-20 on it. In the future we may even add a deluxe handle option with 2 x 1/4-20's on each handle. There's also our Glider Pro 3 too.
@@ScottyMakesStuff This was what I was going to ask! Awesome! If I order the Airflo Uno Plus before the 18th, will both handles come with female 1/4"-20 attachments on the bottom?
@@erwinsusara Our current stock is without the 1/4-20's in the handle but we will change over to the new handles this week. Since we have a backlog of orders if you order now you'll get the new handles. I guess all current orders will be caught up by the middle of next week.
I'd love to see some footage from a camera with no in built stabilisation. That phone camera footage had some really horrible warping going on, which makes me think there was still a fair amount of bouncing in the shot.
All shots in the video are from a budget Motorola from 2018. There is no stabilisation in post and although the camera is stabilised, it's very minimal stabilisation compared to flagship phones of 2018. I couldn't name a phone that has been out in the past few years that doesn't have some form of stabilisation and most can't turn it off as well. I just went through the video and there's barely any jello from the phone as the 4th axis is doing most of the heavy lifting. Considering these guys were novice users, this is really quite a professional result, even by todays standards.
I have a question is it possible to get different springs for the same unit so I can switch from an action cam to a heavier camera? Or do I have to buy a separate Z axis unit?
Right now we don't offer the springs separately as there's a re-tuning process that needs to happen after the springs are changed. When we release a video detailing the spring change and re-tune then we'll offer the springs separately.
Will I have enough space on the 1/4inch mount to fit the base of the wg2x? I think I would prefer two handle version just hope it can damp a light rig. Will be about 300g
Hi Joseph, the Crane 3S does fit into our base mount in upright position but due to it's heavy weight you'll likely need to go to our Glider Pro 3 for the bigger payload.
With the Weebill S you could go either the AirFlo Duo or AirFlo Uno Plus both with heavy springs. It depends on what weight of camera and lens you're flying. Also, another common choice for customers with similar rigs to you is the Multi which gives you the ability to change between the AirFlo's.
HI Jaehyuk, it will work with the 1/4-20 base mount on the AirFlo Duo. It is heavy so you'll need to watch your total payload is well under the payload range for best results. The Pro 3 Glider would be a better fit for that gimbal due to it's heavier payload capacity.
They're cheap rubbish. But Ok, why don't you go and buy one of those cheap Chinese knockoffs and I'll see you in a few months time when you're finally fed up with it :)

My Misses just ordered me one of these for Xmas, cant wait to try it out. I hate the Bounce I get on my RUclips Walking videos.
Thankyou to you and your Misses!
Do you have one that mounts on an RS3 Pro with a heavy-ish camera rig?
Our Glider Pro 3 is what you need for that kind of rig.
This is spectacular work Scotty 👍
Thanks Z, I'm really proud of this one :)
Thanks so much!
would love to see on car or on bike version
We have a customer review of our Glider Pro 3 on a motorbike and it looks awesome
Great Video, recently got your Osmo Pocket 4th axis stabilizer and love it, does a good job of smoothing out bounce.
Thanks Smick! Glad you like it!

That's the old AirFlo. The new AirFlo M Uno Plus has dual and single handed use. That suggestion won't work.
did you make something for DJI RS 3 Mini???
Yes, for the DJI RS 3 Mini, we have the AirFlo M Duo. A great option 👍
Please do a set up video for optimal performance.

Yes, that will work with the single suspension module of the Glider
Dual suspension can't currently be used mounted to a fixed object as the arm distance changes over the stroke
Looks like some of this was stabilized in post, or is the phones doing some weird stuff of their own?
Nope, that's a budget motorolla phone from over 4 years ago doing some in-phone digital stabilization.
