ScottyMakesStuff I have a brachial plexus injury, left arm paralysed due to a bike accident in Brisbane, so this would make my life a lot easier along with the Zhiyun Smooth 4 I recently purchased. Tks for creating this
Part of the reason I originally designed the stabiliser was because I had a chronic knee injury and could no longer shoot smoothly... Just glad that it can help make shooting easier for you!
ScottyMakesStuff I did hear you mention that in 3 of your vids. Hope it's doing better than the day before. I'll email you from your contact form on your website. I'm no engineer but have a design idea that I'd like to run past you. Maybe it'll work
Hi Mario! I digitally nod back at you in thanks :) We're doing quite well without crowd-funding but it has crossed my mind. Maybe for the next version ;-)
Is this better than the more popular gimbals with the dreaded OIS jitter issues? - would you say it’s as smooth as the Movi Freefly? This looks amazing.
Thanks Tommy, the short answer is yes. All gimbals (including Movi's) don't stabilize for vertical motion - Movi's smoothness is partly due to 3 things - 1) the way they're held with the broad grip gives less bumps 2) the in-camera stabilization on the typically very expensive cameras that are normally on Mov's 3) the high level of skill of the gimbal operators that earn enough to afford a Movi ;-) Many cameras and smartphones have image stabilization which can go a long way to reducing vertical motion but a persons steps are generally still visible in footage unless you're a seasoned pro at walking smoothly. That's where our systems come in very handy. There's still a learning curve involved with our Z or 4th axis stabilizers but it doesn't take the usual years to get silky smooth footage but days or possibly hours if you have a special aptitude for it.
Hi Tony, We try to have stock on hand but lately we have a lot of orders coming in so at the moment it can take between 1 and 3 days before we dispatch. We're upscaling operations next month so hopefully we'll bring that time till dispatch down to same day.
Hey Scotty, I’ve got a couple questions if you don’t mind. Do you know if this will work with the FlowMotion Stabilizer? I know it hasn’t been released to many people yet, but I wondered if you had any idea. Also, is there a way to attach an external microphone to my phone whiles’t using this/a stabilizer? Or should I use a Bluetooth Mic?
Hi Chris, I had a quick look at that stabilizer and it can be screwed onto a tripod so it will attach to the Compact Pro. Most phone mics nowadays have pretty good mics but if you want to capture better sound I'd be looking at an external recorder such as a Zoom H1 or H2
This is simply amazing! So proud to see great tech coming outta AU.
Thankyou so much :)

Yeah, I guess I sound like a broken record sometimes ;-)
First of all I want to raise my imaginary hat! You're the best.... You should crowdfound this. I'm a fan!

Can you make a bike Mount version? This would be useful for mountain bike videography
Hi Jabran, our Pro 3 range has an add-ons for handlebar and seat post mounts here:- scottymakesstuff.com/collections/accessories
i love it, i love you !!
Thanks a lot for your print man
Thanks so much for your kind comments Dany!

Can you mount this z axis to a monopod?
Sure, no problem as it has a 1/4-20 mount in the single handle base. Our new Pro 3 system has even more mounting options here:- scottymakesstuff.com/
Yeehah! Got my order in 😄
That's great SparkyFace5 :) I'll post it out tomorrow!
Awesome.
Thanks Rogério Figueiredo Franco ! I think so too :)
nice
Thanks so much!
Hey Scotty, did you find the time to upload the files on Thingiverse? Unfortunately there are no “news on your channel” at Thingiverse.
They're on Thingiverse now :)
The end of bobbing!!!!
Thanks so much!
Will the design will be available on thingiverse ?
Hi Narmok93, Absolutely! it will be on Thingiverse on Monday.
Oh Yes! I'm so damn curious!
Are you selling these things?
sure are! scottymakesstuff.com/collections/stabilizers
Are these ready for shipping upon purchase or made to order only? Very interested. Thx

Awesome and thx for the quick reply. U'll have my order in a day or two.
Hi Scotty! Just placed my order. I'm very excited about the product.
Awesome, thanks for the order Tony! I'm just printing up your invoice now... will let you know the tracking details when it on its way to you :)
Hi Scotty, Just want to let u know the z axis just arrived today. But it's missing the extra spring, a knob and screw for the handle. Thx.

How to buy this
We no longer sell the kit but we sell complete 4th axis here:- scottymakesstuff.com/collections/airflo-range
I am interested to make a purchase.
Hi Huruhara, if you have any questions then fire away. You can find full details at www.scottymakesstuff.com
I think it’s better than dji z axis
Ours has got variable fluid damping so it'll work over a much wider range of filming motion (walking, running etc) and it's hard to beat that.
A waste of time
Hi Keith, I just had a look at your gimbal footage and that bumpy footage would improve significantly with this.
