    I just received mine here in the UK, great bit of kit and well made, I didn't realise though that it wont take a microphone due to the port being covered. Looking forward to trying it out and getting the set up right.
    If buying from the UK, be advised that customs charge £10 duty and Royal Mail add £8 for the privilege of delivering it.

    Received mine two weeks ago. I'm a little disappointed thus far but I believe I can figure out my problems over time.
    I'm pleased to be able to plug in a charging cable with the Do It All Handle on the Pocket 2.
    I wish there were more tutorials on how to use this tool properly. Making adjustments and getting a great finished product is harder than I expected.

      Hi Abraham, I noticed you didn't get the counterweight set. It's really a must have to get best results with the Pocket 2 as by itself it's too light for the Micro Pro 2. We recently had a customer make a review video. He doesn't use a counterweight but instead the metal clamp adds the needed weight to achieve smooth results. ruclips.net/video/aOSlVvd1oCI/видео.html

    It doesn’t have the smaller form factor as the original micro & cased version, but it has capability of holding all the different types of cameras. Oh the decisions to make! 😫

    • @ScottyMakesStuff
      @ScottyMakesStuff  4 года назад +1

      Sorry, there's some tough decisions to make there. When folded up it is only around 30% bigger than the original so it isn't too much bigger

    Do you have any RUclips video with comparisons of different counter weights being used with the Osmo while being used with your wireless full case? I'm thinking of ordering - but not sure what all to get. I definitely like the Micro Pro 2, full case and mini ball head. I think I have a phone holder that might work with the ball, hopefully. How many weights do I order and what to expect from each....

    • @ScottyMakesStuff
      @ScottyMakesStuff  4 года назад

      Hi Gary & Linda, we'll have some videos coming out shortly but for the full case we suggest the 3 piece counterweight set as it easily fits on the back side of the camera screw or otherwise, the 1/4-20's on the Full Case sides. scottymakesstuff.com/collections/micro_range/products/counterweight-set-100g-2-x-10gram
      Just a heads up that we only have a limited quantity of counterweights left and it will be around a week of more (mid Sept) until we get more stock in.

    I would love to purchase this product but I don't want to pay the us conversion as I live in Australia. Do you have Australian prices anywhere. I noticed on the site you have you talk about 94% of buyers are from the US. I think this is why. I love your stuff and would love be able to use it. Thanks Pierre

    • @ScottyMakesStuff
      @ScottyMakesStuff  4 года назад

      Hey Pierre,
      The exchange rate was actually reasonable when we started doing business. A lot of the raw materials we buy are in USD so we definitely feel your exchange rate pain :(
      Around 96% of our orders are international so we decided to sell in USD as most international customers know their exchange rate as compared to it. One day when we grow a bit more local customers we'll invest in a .au site for local customers but I'd say that won't be till after the Coronavirus is over.

    • @SimpleHomeBrew

    Hi ScottyMakesStuff, thanks for that 👍 So just a quick question, when adjusting the damping knob, you mention in the instructions that 0% is one full counter clockwise rotation turn away from where 100% is. So the question is 1 full rotation = just one turn of the knob is that correct?
    For example say the knob is a clock and 100% damping is at roughly 5 on the clock, then one full counter clockwise rotation would take you around and back to 5 again. I feel like that's how it is, but you can turn the knob counter clockwise several rotations so just making sure that 0% damping isn't actually until you cant turn the knob anymore counter clockwise.

  • @michaelveronneau698
    @michaelveronneau698 4 года назад

    Mine is on its way. Will be using with a Fimi Palm and other small action cameras. Scotty, are you recommending the same sort of damping adjustment with the Pro version as you did with the pervious version..3-4 bounces?

    • @ScottyMakesStuff
      @ScottyMakesStuff  4 года назад

      Hi Michael, bounce control is much better on the Micro Pro so you'll find that from a 100% damping (hard stop), each rotation back is 50% damping change. So, two rotations back of the damping knob to get to 0% damping.

    • @ScottyMakesStuff
      @ScottyMakesStuff  4 года назад

      Since this is the 'Pro' version we made it tool-less so there is no need for the Allen key for normal use and adjustments, although we do include one in the box.
