The Sugar Plums Baby Blanket is a sweet little blanket that can be made in any size and with any yarn! It is rich in texture and visually pleasing to the eye.
* Pattern Notes*
5.5mm crochet hook
3 weight acrylic yarn (I used Lion Brand's Big Scoop Ice Cream in "Tutti Frutti"
Working a total of 100 rows for the main blanket and 4 border rows, my blanket measures 32 inches tall and 30 inches wide and I still have a good amount of yarn left from this Big Scoop!

Really sweet! How much yarn did you use for the baby blanket shown in tutti frutti?

The Big Scoop yarn came in a ball of 1117 yards, but I still had at least 100 yards left after completing this blanket. The puff or cluster stitch is a bit of a yarn eater and the single crochet moss stitch is as well, so I do recommend at least 1000 yards for a nice sized baby blanket (although depending on tension, hook size, etc., you may not need that much!)

Definitely! You can use any size yarn and hook size you want, your blanket will just size up a bit (or size down!)
