    This is a very lovely blanket, using easy stitches! I did admire that blanket on the series… love the more “gentile” colors a lot!!! A definite DO for me!! I now know how to make the “envelope” border!!! Very ingenious!! I will incorporate it in other one/two row blankets w/lots of ends!! Right now I’m on the last rows of the beginning border of a many color Mile A Minute afghan for my son, and an now thinking of doing this finishing border so I can hide ALL the many tails!! I think it would look great on this blanket….
    A very thorough n fun video!! Thank you…
    Blessings! 🤗

    The colors for this blanket are just beautiful I love the softness of it. It's just beautiful. Julie did such a marvelous job on this blanket. Really want to make this one for me since I'm going to be giving the other tudum blanket to my sister who's coming to visit from Florida and she's always cold. Really like the tudum sound in the video.

    Can you also do the popcorn stitch where you do 4 unfinished dc then pull through all 4 and ch1? Instead of taking the hook out? Not sure if that makes sense

    • @OpheliaTalks
      @OpheliaTalks  29 дней назад

      You could try it, depending on your tension this row may end up being wider than the others, plus you won’t have the texture of the popcorn, Anja x

    I can see why you are using a smaller hook size,the weight of the blanket stretches the stitches ,and being large there is sufficient drape

    • @OpheliaTalks
      @OpheliaTalks  Месяц назад

      Thank you for watching, I use a smaller hook size because I crochet tightly, my testers have different tensions and use different sized hooks to get the same gauge as mine, Anja

    • @nankc1
      @nankc1 17 дней назад

      @@OpheliaTalksDo you mean that normally you crochet loosely so that you need a smaller hook to tighten up the crochet? That’s what I do. If you normally crochet tightly it seems that you would need a larger hook to loosen it up. Maybe I’m wrong.
